- Julie (8/5): - Paid for an upgrade to a raft chalet, so it was lovely being on the river. Large room and bed. Drinking water provided. Breakfast included. Free transfers from/to station. Arranged a taxi for us to get to Hellfire Pass and museum. Restaurant is on a balcony overlooking the gardens. There was no kettle in the room. No proper drainage in the shower. Some of the walkways were a bit rickety. A few mosquitoes so need plenty of insect repellent!
- Nanna (10/5): - Amazing that you have the little private pool to swim in the river and a larger river pool as well. You can really feel the river's current and the bottom of the pool was a nice clean thread. In the morning we had some small fish in our private pool. Nice, clean and cosy cottage. Nice mini fridge with different kinds of beer (65-95baht pr beer) and some snacks - we had it refilled because there isn't really any places to go buy some in the area. Not all staff was fluent in English but was very sweet and helpful. Very easy to book an activity at the reception. Free Ride back and forth from the train! We tried to go for a walk through the town at night but had to turn around because we didn't really feel comfortable with all the territorial dogs. But then we just had a cosy evening chilling at our cottage, watching the river in the moonlight.

Taras na rzece obłędny!!! Warto brać pokoje najdalej od recepcji, bo po drugiej stronie rzeki jest niedokończona budowa i psuje efekt wizualny. Polecam hotelową restauracje - każde danie pyszne a ceny normalne.

- Sara (10/5): Room on the River Kwai - Absolutely loved this hotel. Was amazing staying in one of the floating rooms on the river and the scenery was so beautiful. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend renting a car as it is about an hour outside of Kanchanaburi city so having your own transport gives you more flexibility

- Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing Find! Perfect River Raft! - Im so glad we booked this place. I booked 2 river raft rooms for our family, 2 adults and 2 children. The rooms are a great size, drinks fridge has very reasonable charges (65 baht beer, 20-30 baht soft, 20 baht crisps etc). Room service was 20 baht for extra drinks if you run out, so really cant complain. The setting is just great, lovely greenery, sound of the river, wildlife, swimming pool built into the river (the kids loved this) and lots of seating areas! Food was fine, breakfast is basic but its all we needed. Reception was lovely, always very helpful! Can arrange a driver for you also if needed (we went to Erawan for the day). I really cant recommend enough, great stay.

Hideous sight & very noisy during daytime meaning we had to go out during the day to escape it. Thankfully it couldn't be seen during darkness hours. No mention of this when booking. Hotel staff very helpful in organising trips. Enjoyed our.meals which were reasonably priced. Would visit again but not while construction works taking place nearby.

Staff was very friendly and helpful; be sure to say hi to the local kitty (named S̄̂m (orange) and bring treats! :)

Notre bungalow sur l'eau était très confortable ; accueil avec le sourire et personnel très professionnel ; dîner le soir très agréable et très bon sur la terrasse qui domine la rivière.

- Boonyisa (9/5): It’s relaxing and really nice. - The raft room was nice but it has some insects in the room which is probably hard to avoid because the location is on the river. Food and staff are nice. There is a free activity provided like darting, swings which is really enjoyable. Insects in the room but if you’re not allergic to it. It’s fine.
- Emily (8/5): Great experience, the private room would have been better - The raft is so, so neat and I love that it is right on the river, you can put your legs in right from the room. Since the shower drains directly into the river, I wish the shower gel/shampoo that was provided was biodegradable. I wish there was a hammock, that would have been perfect to have on the balcony. The sound/vibrations from people in the rooms on the same raft made it a bit difficult to sleep. The dogs on the street nearby the hotel were a bit aggressive which made it not as nice to walk around.

- Yanti (9/5): A calm and relaxing place to rest and recharge surrounded by nature - Breakfast is great. For the Muslims there are options like egg, croissants cereals. Coffee is great. The room has air condition , the toilet are with modern fittings. Very quite and peaceful . A good place to rest. Access for those with limited mobility may be an issue for some. Those with kids please watch the kids as the river is deep. The current is strong too.

The food in the restaurant was good, but the staff could be more friendly and the breakfast was less than OK. The price is also a little steep compared to what you get.

- Geraldine (10/5): Exceeded expectations - The resort was attractive and finished and maintained to a great level. Lovely rooms and bathrooms. I wish we could have stayed longer. Great food. Staff very helpful in organising us a driver to take us to Erewan falls and back to Bangkok via a stop in Kanchanaburi. Value for money for the 5 of us. Did the bamboo rafting which was a fun activity. Free pickup from Nam Tok train station. Construction on the other side of the river, but it was not in our direct line of sight from our room. Sad the resort is losing that isolated feeling. Cocktail options were a couple of alcopops but it didn't matter too much. And that's it for negatives!

The owner even was there to greet us and to send us off. Lovely! I would’ve liked a mirror in the bathroom over the sink with a towel holder close to the sink — that is a small thing - But a comfort of home.

- Debashis (9/5): Excellent remote location offering unique & close to nature experience. - Excellent location over river Kwai and great place to unwind far away from any locality. Food offered in their restaurant is great given the remote location. The staff & Manager went above & beyond to service the guests. The Manager woke up at 4a.m. personally for us to drop us to the nearest railway station. Place is remotely located without any public transport facilities near by. You'll have to contend with the in-house restaurant as there's no other fooding options anywhere near. But in-house fooding is good. Anyone visiting must visit with their own car else you'll end up spending a great sum of money on commuting.

- Jackie (8/5): A very nice hotel in a peaceful location with lovely views and delightful rooms. - A lovely room on the river, and beautifully appointed. There is a slight lack of privacy, given the thin walls and shared terrace area. Although by no means the hotel’s fault, the construction work on the opposite bank of the river is rather ugly - go for one of the rooms further away, and it is not a problem.

If there is one area that could use some improvement, it is the kitchen which is only average. If you don’t have your own car your dining choices are limited. Prices are very reasonable

- Amy (9/5): We really enjoyed the novels of accommodation and the staff were berry friendl - We enjoyed the peaceful setting and it was very relaxing being on the river. The included breakfast was great. Also enjoyed dinners in the restaurant and river rafting in Saturday organised by the staff. The staff were very helpful to arrange transport for the 5 of us to attend waterfall and elephant experience. They are building a new resort across the river which detracted from the peacetambiennce.
- Kurt (8/5): A friendly welcome in Kanchanaburi - The family who owns the business was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful, they even brought me to a motorcycle rental and on my departure day to the train station. The rooms on the rafts are quite large and have a great terrase to relax on. The coffee which they serve at breakfast had zero taste, so sad because Thailand has such excellent coffees. Unfortunately there is a big construction site on the other river bank, but this is not the fault of the resort!!!

Not worth for the money, most unacceptable is high risk in shower place. Esp unsafe for elder or limped people for getting in or stepping out. Seem no maintenance of the property since first built.

But would return to host again. I was delighted with the details. I am a very critical person when I have to rate a hotel, so I can say that all the bad points addressed in previous posts are not just details and in general the hotel is perfect.

You can witness the sunset at the raft rooms. Every morning schools of fish play by your hut. Definitely recommended especially for nature lovers.
- Derek (8/5): - Amazing view by the river. I don't mind sitting by the river all day. Furnishings are beginning to show signs of aging. Bathtub has gaps between walls that looks disgusting. Toilet is not the cleanest in my opinion. Property is pretty far away from the nearest town. Even the nearest convenient store along the main road is a pretty far walk along a dark and quiet road. Breakfast is nothing fantastic. Property charges additional 500 baht for my 8 years old daughter sleeping with us. Staff helps to carry my heavy luggage to my room which is very much appreciated.

- Gemma (10/5): Relaxing and Beautiful - It was a lovely end to our holiday, a beautiful place and very relaxing. The staff were helpful and friendly and made our stay comfortable. The room was lovely however a mosquito draped over the bed would have been handy. The food was very enjoyable and we were even able to have a bottle of Prosecco with our dinner.
- Monica (6/5): Missing too many little details to be a resort. - The room and the surroundings are wonderful. A pity so many small things make a stay there underwhelming. The majority of the staff is indifferent and apathetic. On the first night we were rushed during our dinner eventhough the kitchen was still open and there was no one waiting for tables. The breakfast for a top resort was lacking, in a place bursting with a magnificent array of fruit they could only muster up watermelon & pineapple; the bakery consisted of white bread for toast or croissants and the coffee was bad despite the cafes in area having good coffee. When I've stayed at similar places water is unlimited but here you were restricted to 1 small bottle per person and the usual range of amenities was also missing you only receive shampoo & body wash, which is inconvenient if you pack light expecting the usual bits & pieces to be provided, but at least you got slippers.
