Other facilities not used. Very noisy bathroom fan. Cost necessary for our purposes but very high for, basically, a bed and toilet.

• Brad (8/5): We'd certainly stay here again. - Stayed 2 nights to go to KBW concert at TTSC. Good value accommodation. Staff friendly and helpful. Initial impression of room... walked in to spacious room to see immaculately made superking bed. Motel undergoing upgrades, but it was quiet and did not affect us in any way. Upgrades are looking really good (e.g. very well painted brickwork greatly uplifting the appearance), though there are still a few tasks to do in rooms. Our room was well appointed, including full-sized 2-door fridge freezer, convection microwave oven, jug, toaster, iron, hair drier, spare blanket in cupboard, air cond (though old through-wall type), etc. Large TV (but JB Hi-Fi 'FFalcon' brand, so quite slow to boot up). See pics. Plenty of parking. Upstairs units have undercover parking, whereas the units around the back have very spacious open parking. The person next to us had a 4WD and a boat, yet there was still ample parking space. There is also additional longitudinal parking to the RHS of the driveway (as entering the premises) Overall; very good value, a clean place to stay, and a very generous amount of parking. We would definitely stay here again. Located across from Tweed River, and approx 40min walk to TTSC. TTSC no longer provide a courtesy bus for pick up or drop off (despite having paid for a group of 4 to go to a show there at $320 + fee), without; A) being a member... and as we've moved intstate, our memberships had expired (now $25 PP for 12 months), and B) purchasing a $20 voucher, per person, each way, which can be spent in the Club. Though effectively the return trip voucher ($40 for couple) is lost for visitors. So to use the courtesy bus, it would have cost us $50 membership, $40 voucher which we would have spent in the Club (bought drinks, etc.) plus another $40 for return trip... so we instead drove in, left the car, caught an Uber back, and walked back next morning to get the car. Re the hotel; There were still items being updated, and we understand this all takes time. Tasks yet to do in our room were; bench tops, tiling in bathroom, cupboard upgrading (2 cupboards had doors that didn't close unless holding both open and closing together). This wasn't a problem for us, and the caretaker had advised us of their renovation progress. I just hope the price doesn't increase to reflect the improvements once done!

My husbands eyes were stinging. I have been to a number of motel/hotels and never experience anything like this. Driveway pavers were uneven and there were above level water pits which if a lowered car drove over them they would be stuck. This is a safety issue that needs to be rectified asap.

They had everything we needed for stay there in room such as fridge, toaster,..... bed waa tidy and beautiful coulour at first look.more than 90 percent of room was clean. At first ensuit Bathroom had three small cockroach (Brown Banded cockroach) and one big cockroach.🤢🤮😱😡. It look like they need to do pest control properly again. Secondly the staff in office at check in time on Saturday was abit confused about new changes there. She was nice lady but it look like wasn't inform propely about new changes. I asked her, I recived an emailed with pin number, what is this pin number for? She didn't know abou it. Also she didn't checked with the manager and didnt back to me about it. Just respond I dont know!!!!! If there is any changes I dont infomed about it. To me it eas look like (Lack of good comunication between manager and staff about any recent changes). Also there wasn't anyone else there, I can ask them!!!. Then on sunday morning at 10am when we want to check out there wasn't any staff member there at office, which their staff didn't mentioned any thing about this on check in time on Saturday. Then at check out time at 9:45am to 10am on Sunday we realise the office is closed and the pin was for keybox which it was outside the door room ( we just gussed that and we are not sure about it yet. 😶 ) but anyway the pin was emailed to me didn't work on keybox locker. We were confused that where we should put the key. We end up left the key on the table which bit was at the room. Which I will email that with photo I will attach to the email. Thirdly bed sheets (the white one had stain and Mark of beeing dirty or not washed peoperly on it.) I was loucky I had my own sheet with me.I put it on the top of their sheet. Not every one like to take sheet with them to the motel!!!! I had them because I had the same worst exprince like that at sydney. (Learnt from bad exprienced I had from booking before with booking app, i mean this app) We also didnt like the dining table was in the room, it was look like office table or work table not dining table.

• Elaine (6/5): Great room, no hot water - I had an upstairs room, that was well equipped with a kichenette, fridge and microwave. Due to the limited space the dining area was on the balcony, which was lovely to sit outside and enjoy the view with my meals. There was no hot water whwn washing my hands. I wondered if it just takes awile to heat up. This resulted in a very quick shower, the water would have been luke warm at best by the wnd of the shower.

• Desmond (2/5): Will never stay there again and would not recommend this motel to anyone. - The stairs leading up to the rooms were very steep and the hand rails are very low. It made it difficult, and we did not feel safe, walking up to the room with our cases and other items. The facilities were old and dated, the beds were very hard and lumpy. During the night, there was a domestic dispute in a room not far from ours. It went on for over an hour, with a lot of swearing and things being thrown around. We did not feel safe in our room as the security chain on the door was broken, and just a flimsy push button lock on the door. The chairs were badly stained and uncomfortable to sit on. No bedside table for the single bed. The shower head was loose. Trying to get out onto the road with the cars parked on the road was near on impossible. Bad location.

All I wanted was somewhere to put the bags so I didn't have to carry them around while we waited for check in, and we were gonna go for a walk and explore while we waited. He gave a smile and said he'd happily give us the keys and we could just jump in! Fantastic bloke, great place comfy as, clean as, close to heaps! Cheap as chips! Couldn't as for more!!

• MARK (7/5): Okay, for a short day, but too expensive for long stays - Good location with plenty of parking The price is too high! — this is NOT a modern Motel. There’s no signage up high like there used to be as you approach the Motel from the South side, so you can easily drive past it! The management also allow large trucks to park right up beside the entrance driveway which makes it extremely difficult (And Dangerous) to exit the busy main road into the entrance to the motel! The management do not offer reasonable discounts for stays of one month for example.
