Absolutely beautiful surroundings, very private , gorgeous property. Delicious homemade wine tasting on the day of arrival. The owner, Shaun is considered a wine connoisseur or sommelier. He is someone who loves and knows a lot about wine, possibly with extensive knowledge of regions, grape varieties, and winemaking. Sean was a great host, making sure we were comfortable and providing excellent recommendations for places to visit, eat, and drink. The location is perfect - close to some amazing wineries and just a short drive to the CBD. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

- Acharyasanjay (10/5): The Perfect Getaway we always dream of. - The location was great. It was not too far from the town but just far enough to enjoy the country holiday. The rooms were spotless and cozy, and everything was premium. The living room, dining room, and common areas are well-maintained. Sean and Karen are amazing hosts who know exactly what their guests want. The breakfast was exceptional with great homemade jam and preserves. The entertainment room underneath is just what a guy would want in his house, bar area, pool table, nice and comfy couch, and darts. I can't wait to go back again with more friends and stay here longer. Absolutely nothing. I wish we could have stayed here longer.

- Andreas (10/5): The Homestead is a extremely well run establishment in beautiful and quiet surroundings. - This is top of the range accommodation with regard to everything - its situation, comfort, view, catering (afternoon tea and cake and the sumptuous multi-course breakfast served in a lovely dining room or on the terrace). The hosts, Karen and Shawn, make sure you are as close to heaven as you can be! We can't wait to book another stay. I canât think of anything.

Breakfast included is exceptional...not only a wonderful cooked breakfast different each day but plenty of additional options for cereals, fruit, yoghurt, toast, spreads, apple and orange juice. You don't need lunch. Have been twice and can't fault the hospitality and wonderful ambience. Couldn't stay longer !!

My partner and I decided to take a drive to Mudgee. We were looking for an authentic homestead stay and as we arrived at the homestead we were blown away with the views, the warm greeting and the absolute peace. A chilled rosĂš to start with followed by a sunset show and star gazing from the verandah. Kangaroos and birds galore. Thank you so much Sean and Karen. We will definately be returning. Perfect place for a quiet wine on the veranda, watching a storm roll in with the local fauna. The homestead is well equipped with common lounge with fireplace and a shared dining room. There are facilities for cheese boards to enjoy with locally sourced cheese and wine! What more could you want?

Very luxury and comfortable place) You may see quite easily running kangaroos around the house. All the furnitures are so lovey and beautiful. I loved nicely baked homemade cake and cup of tea.
