• Glenda (10/5): - Loved our stay , everything we needed was at hand and clean and tidy. Walks to be had around the vineyard and nearby paddocks and creeks throughly enjoyable and easy to find. Alpacas just outside our door in the paddocks only addd further to the beautiful view of the mountain and yarra valley tree line made over holiday throughly enjoyable and the delight of seeing kangaroos and my first wombat in the wild ever was beyond measure. Lyn and John were fantastic hosts and nothing was a bother more than happy to ensure our stay was comfortable and stress free. Sitting on the verandah enjoying a lovely wine as we watched the birds flying over and hopping though our garden was so relaxing as was watching the sun go down over the trees and then settling down with a nice glass of wine in front of our wood fired heater. Will definitely we back and highly recommend others take the time to visit.
• Darlene (10/5): - Very relaxing spot. Close to shops and eateries. Loved our accommodation in this farm setting. Loved getting morning visits from the alpacas. All the little touches of flowers in our room and snacks left for us were much appreciated.
• Nancy (10/5): - What a beautiful spot to stay when exploring the Yarra Valley. I loved sitting on the porch and watching the Alpacas. We had everything we needed, and even an emergency box of goodies in case we forgot something. Plenty of firewood for the amazing wood heater, clean and very comfortable beds. The host came over to greet us on arrival, and then left us to enjoy our time. I would stay there again, very happy.

Lyn and John have created a perfect place to relax. The place is filled with personal items. Information of the area. They have thought of everything. Only 5 minutes into the centre of Healsville. A lovely walk along the creek on the property. Option to feed the Alpacas that live in the property. 100% recommend and we will certainly be back.

Great little walking track to the creek, where the owners have set up a table and chairs where you could sit and have drinks. The alpacas are an added bonus also. Greg, the owner was most helpful and nothing was a bother. Would highly recommend staying here.

We really enjoyed our stay here, it was close enough to Healesville to have access to meet our needs yet still far enough to enjoy the beautiful country side. The accommodation was great and communication from host Greg was spot on, hopefully we get a chance to visit and stay there again.

• Peta (10/5): - A beautiful quiet getaway location surrounded by hills and forests. Comfortable, pleasant decored rooms with large windows overlooking vineyards and hills. Approximately 20 minutes direction to neighbouring towns with the beautiful town of Healesville a few minutes drive away.
• CT (8/5): Warm, friendly host - It was a positive experience! Friendly and warm host made it felt like home. It was rather cold and thankfully there were electric blankets! The road after 5pm is dark and easy to get lost if not familiar. Google map not working all the time. The place was huge, could easily stayed up to 6 people. Saw the review that the animals would pop by the house, was looking forward to it but it's actually a distance away. I guess depends on which house you are staying at.

• Storm (8/5): A wonderful property - What a breath of fresh air to be greeted and looked after by very lovely owners. They bent over backwards to accommodate us and their customer service was beautiful. We stayed in the 3 bedroom cottages. The cottages are gorgeous sitting on the deck surrounded by grape vines was special. I loved walking around your beautiful property even though I have a fear of alpacas lol they where beautiful 😣. We wished we had more time to spend walking and site seeing. Make sure you taste the wine and take home a few bottles of the Syrah 👌👌👌👌. I really didn't want to put a negative because the stay was made so perfect by the owners and we loved everything except for the beds and blinds 🙊. squeaky and hard mattresses and the blinds wouldn't close so the room was very bright. The linen was beautiful quality. We will be back and recommend valley farm to our family...please please change the beds and mattresses. With that aside thank you for such a lovely stay and bending over backwards to make our trip the best.

• Dimitrios (10/5): Great getaway near town and wineries - Nice and quiet place near Healesville. Situated on a small farm/vineyard it was a great spot for a getaway with the misses. All the wineries, and other regional attractions, were a short drive away. The room was spacious, had a nice living/kitchen areas, and had a great shower. The Alpacas were my favourite part, coming up to the windows in the morning! My only criticism was the bed was squeaky. Would definitely stay again!

• Kylie (10/5): Relaxing Christmas Getaway! - My husband and I spent the Christmas weekend relaxing and enjoying the amazing view from our cottage! So comfortable with everything you could need, especially air conditioning for those really hot days! You can read, relax, watch movies, go for a beautiful scenic walk, cook, or even take a 5 minute car ride into the town centre and pick one of the many places to eat! We enjoyed our visit so much and would love to return someday soon! Greg and Louise are so friendly.. and so is Patch the dog!

• Chin Aik (10/5): Wonderful Stay - Great stay at this cottage, it was better than imagined and we really appreciate the hospitality by owner, Greg and wife for bringing us to a Bonfire night and giving us close encounter with Alpacas. We enjoyed the garden view and animals! Very friendly owner. Place is really clean and plenty of space, and easy to reach by navigation device. Food is easily available with 5 mins drive to Healesville supermarket, which open till midnight. Very comfort bed as well.

• Dot (10/5): Little Piece of Heaven - Sorry to say, but we only had two nights here. The cottage, surroundings everything was more than we expected. This has been one of the top accommodations we have stayed in. Everything available and it was so comfortable. Eating on the veranda overlooking the vineyard and the beautiful Alpacas was a pure joy. Thank you to our hosts. We will be back...just what was needed for a much needed bit of solitude.
• Michael (10/5): The place to stay in healesville - Perfect place for a romantic getaway, amazing setting and close to the main town. The photos dont do it justice. Will hopefully stay there again.
• Kerrie (8/5): Country charm - I chose the Valley Farm Cottages to attend "A Day on the Green" at the Rochford wineries. The cottages are a good 10km from the venue having a form of transportation is a must. We had a weekend stay which was pleasant but I feel a 3 to 4 day stay to really take in what the Yarra Valley/Coldstream area has to offer is a must. The cottages would be a great base and had everything we needed for a longer stay. You will need to pick up some grocery items to keep in the cottage which is fine as they are fully self contained. Very tidy grounds and clean cottages. The area is so amazingly quiet you can sleep like a log! I loved waking up to see the Alpacas grazing and the owners dog Patch running around enjoying the freedom of the farm. A true delight to stay here.
• Christine (6/5): Country escape - The living/dining area is generous, otherwise the place is a slightly renovated 50's or 60's cottage with 3 bedrooms, no wardrobes, separate kitchen shower room and toilet. The verandas were lovely and the barbeque was a pleasant addition. But we were there at a very hot time so the verandas were not very useable. There was poor cross ventilation and the fly screen on the front door didn't close well enough to keep the door open to catch a breeze. Unfortunately the air-conditioning couldn't cope so we had a few stinking hot nights.
• Lozza (10/5): Lovely cottage to relax in - We stayed here, as we were going to A Day on the Green concert at Rochfort Winery. We were surrounded by lovely gardens, and went for a nice 2km walk along the aquaduct, which you can access through the property. The owners were very informative about the surrounding area, wineries, and other places to visit. Very comfortable and relaxing place to stay.
• Keith (10/5): Friendly but quiet atmosphere. - Arrived in 44c heat. Our hosts had put on the air conditioner a half hour prior to our arrival for our convenience. The unit had everything any reasonable guest could want. On arrival our host, Greg, talked to us about the winery that is his pride and joy and also a passion of mine. He invited us to walk through the vineyard at any time but watch out for the Alpaca droppings! which are also residents.The following day was 19c and raining which forced us to visit a couple of the local wineries. Greg offered us a bottle of his reisling at discounted price offcourse and on leaving I purchased a bottle of Pinot Noir also discounted. The weather was not conducive to any walking which we enjoy to do, so we will have to return to enjoy the National Parks and lookouts available.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Relaxing stay with nice wine - We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage for 4 nights. We did some cooking with the well equipped kitchen and the outdoor barbeque grill. Their wine Trellis was delicious and decently priced. Lots of outdoor space for family activities.
• Fiona (8/5): - Lovely place to stay, quiet and tucked away, great walk in to Healesville for breakfast, lots of places to visit nearby. A great way to wind down after a very hectic year. And we loved the alpacas!!
• Jo (6/5): pretty location but facilities a little tired - Picturesque and tranquil rural setting. Hosts welcoming friendly and very helpful. Good use of colours on walls but facilities fairly basic, esp bathroom and toilet pokey shower - quite dated and in need of freshening up. Disappointing that spa was unavailable. Overall quite clean but several spiders inside, some flyscreens didn't fit properly. Very comfortable beds and fluffy soft towels. large kitchen but no tea, coffee etc - need to take everything you need. Would recommend and probably stay again

• Verified traveler (8/5): Best way to experience Oz - Valley Farm, Healsville, Yarra Valley, Victoria, is a truly rural Australian experience. Greg and Louise are a very hospitable host and the setting is amazing. Great acco, ambience, views! The Alpaca’s are adorable and they do pay you a curious visit in the morning. The facilities are top class too. Highly recommended. There is no Wi-Fi, (so some of you can have withdrawal symptoms).

• EM (10/5): Nice relaxing location - Fun, relaxing with lots of area to explore. Close to Healesville and all the town has to offer. Accommodation had everything you need and lots of room. Fireplace was fantastic in winter weather. Staff friendly and helpful.
