• Paul (5/5): Smallest, oddest room I have ever stayed in - The staff were very pleasant, and room was clean with a comfortable bed. I had a good night sleep, and meals were available within easy walking distance. The room was the smallest, oddest room I have ever stayed in. Beat even my Hong Kong and New York experiences. There was no room to move or store my gear. This was more like a converted storeroom with everything shoehorned in to fit. The WC (accessed by walking through the shower) had no extraction fan, nor was it an enclosed room. Other rooms (upstairs) appear to be normal motel rooms and obviously the comments don't apply to them.

• Lindsey (5/5): - Clean rooms, good location The room I was given looked like it was an additional afterthought, it was clean and well presented. The room was on the ground floor, which I thought was very good for an older person like myself. The problem I found was the sewerage pipes from a couple of upstairs rooms travelled through an exposed pipe in my bathroom. This pipe was approximately 3 metres from my head when I was trying to sleep. Every time guests in the upstairs rooms used the facilities ,I heard the whatever flushing down the pipe. Not very pleasant to hear while trying to sleep. In my opinion, the room should not be used until something is done to rectify that plumbing problem. I was a repeat customer to this motel.

The room had everything that was needed for our stay, comfortable chairs with table in the room was a pleasant surprise. The bathroom was a good size, plenty of room. Pillows on the bed weren't to our liking, too firm.

• Juliana (10/5): - The location is excellent and very convenient. The cleanliness of the rooms is exceptional, everything was spotless and very well maintained. I also really loved the pool. It was clean and it was so nice to have a pool where I could take my baby for a little swim. It made our stay even more enjoyable. I wish the rooms were a little bit bigger, but it was still fine and didn’t affect our overall experience.

• Ron (10/5): Excellent - Didn’t have breakfast. It’s the little things I also liked about this motel, for example, complimentary 2 bottles of water plus milk. Some motels don’t have hooks on the back of the bathroom door, this motel has 4. Everything in the room works well including air conditioning, fridge and ceiling fans including the one in the bathroom, oh and the price is right as well. It’s only a 5 minute walk to the Clocktower hotel where I had a great meal and the usual couple of beers. The Jacaranda hotel is right opposite the motel however I was there on a Monday but it closes at 6 pm on Mondays. Looking forward to my next visit during the week. The bench top is cluttered with a lot of things which did not leave any work space to sit and work on the computer, only 1 PowerPoint to charge everything.

Had microwave although I didn’t use it. Appreciated the complimentary bottles of water. Instructions for tv were there although I didn’t use it. Can’t comment on whether the instructions were easy to follow. Some places don’t give instructions. I don’t like plastic kettles. The motel needs a face lift.
• Ursula (10/5): I'll be back ! - The location was perfect! 3 min drive from Grafton hospital. Central to Grafton CBD, Supermarket next door, cafes around the corner. Quiet setting even though on the edge of CBD. Double glazed windows. Lovely birdsong. Clarence River only 3 mins walk away. Comfortable room, good sized bathroom with loads of natural light. Wonderful owners and staff. .
