Allowed us an early check in which was a lifesaver as we arrived in town for my grandson's 2nd birthday party. The lady at reception was beautiful. Nothing was too much trouble. She even offered to come over after hours if we needed anything..Accomodstion is basic we had two rooms. Both were clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Streaming services available also. It was half the price of nearby accommodation.Good old fashioned customer service. Really speaks volumes to me.Thank you so much. Didn't like the bats outside. But that is something out of everyone's control. My son has the same in his backyard nearby.

There was a large tree directly behind our room which had dozens of large Flying Foxes nesting in it. They were very noisy all night long. The room was not sound proof.

- NOEL (9/5): Clean and comfortable. Megan tried to help with the TV. - It was clean, comfortable and no stairs. You couldn’t regulate the hot water using the shower. We prefer the water to be hotter. Needing to hot spot the TV using our own phone. Not able to watch Netflix only youtube. No flyscreen on the bathroom window, so couldn’t open the window. The over powering chemical sprayed fragrance in the room.

- Ebony (4/5): - The room was clean and tidy. When arriving, there were bats everywhere in the trees behind the motor inn. The smell was horrid and we had to run to the rooms to escape the smell. Once in the room it was clean and warm but air con was very loud and cut in and out all night.

- Fiona (5/5): Good, not great. - I was greeted well, the room was clean, and a good size. Fridge, microwave and basic free to air TV channels. The shower has good pressure, but its a small shower.. I couldn't hear the people in the other rooms. The noise from the road and the small bar fridge kept me up most of the night. They definitely need sound proofing from the road noise and the fridge, I'm not sure what can be done about that. I also used ear plugs to sleep with and it done nothing to dull the noise.

It was fairly typical of similar roadside motels and was quiet and comfortable. The swimming pool was a welcome relief from the heat of day. There could have been some better furniture and shade options at the pool.

This must be the smallest motel in Muswellbrook but don't let that fool you - it ticks all the boxes. I'll definitely be recommending to friends & family. Bats roosting nearby - no fault of the owners, just a bit noisy at times. A message sent thru Booking.com wasn't answered- I had to call direct to have my enquiry answered.
