Location was good.. the Hire car was waiting - David the host went out of his way far and beyond trying to sort out the Netflix connection. He was so obliging. The bedroom curtain did not have blackout, it was sheer so at 6 am when the sun rose. the room was bright as anything and you could not sleep

• Jennifer (6/5): Good location, but definitely needs a refurb. - It was clean and the location was good. It desperately needs an update. The bed and the lounge chairs are had it. The unit also needs ceiling fans. The vanity needs to be replaced and the drawers in the bedroom stink.
• Ben (10/5): Great service and excellent value - For the price, Daydreamer Apartments offers great value and location. It's an easy walk to the shops and facilities on Taylors Road. Service was fantastic. They are attached to Eldoo car rentals, which made the car rental really easy, including dropping the car off to us at the apartment. Included in the price, they automatically booked our airport pick-up and the introductory tour for the following morning. They went out of their way to help us; for example, even though we only had the car a few days of our stay, they arranged to transfer us back to the airport at the end of our stay at no extra cost. They were so friendly and helpful. Nil
• Jocalyn (9/5): Very enjoyable and relaxing holifay - We had our own breakfast Tour pickups at night were a problem. Extra lighting at the entrance of the property would be good. Distance to town is a problem for the elderly. We hired a car and solved the idsue.

• John (10/5): Enjoyed everything about the stay. - Everything about the apartment was excellent. Very clean and everything you need for your stay. We were picked from the airport and delivered right to the door, about a 1 minute drive. It's very close to the main street. The only thing that wasn't there, and this had nothing to do wth the owner/manager of the property, was the TV didn't have closed captions, except for the ABC. The manager came to look at this but there was nothing he could do about it. They are going to check with whatever authority is responsible for broadcasting closed captions.

• Jillian (9/5): Enjoyable stay on a picturesque island - Apartment was exceptionally clean and tidy. Units 9- 12 have the best outlook. Building is dated but well maintained. Our hot water system was faulty and when we reported the problem, a plumber was sent the same day to repair it. Use of washing machine for free (with soap powder and pegs provided) was appreciated. Several cafes and restaurants are within easy walking distance. Hire car was waiting for us on arrival which made transport very easy.

• Pamela (10/5): Terrific apartment well located to everything - Super nice apartment! Everything you needed was there: kitchen supplies, good Internet, laundry, comfortable bed, good hot water. At night it’s absolutely dead quiet! Included with the accommodation was a free half-day tour of the island, which was really well done! You’re in walking distance to a decent grocery store, cafes, and restaurants. Since I only had a small rucksack, I could easily walk to/from the airport. Glad I came and next time I’ll certainly book a longer stay!
• Philip (10/5): I highly reccomend a stay at the Daydreamer apartments when visiting Norfolk Island - No breakfast as the unit is a self-catering unit with an excellent kitchen, with all facilities provided. The unit is in a very convenient location. It is only 2-3 minutes by car to the town centre The grounds are very well kept with an abundance of sub-tropical plants and trees The unit complex is very quiet and peaceful . I cannot think of anything that would improve a stay at the Daydremer apartments. My wife and I had a very enjoyable week there. Everything you could need in the unit is provided, right down to egg cups, a thermos flask and a picnic hamper to take to the beach!
• Sue (10/5): A great place to stay when visiting Norfolk Island and I would definitely stay there again. - Like everything on Norfolk Island the apartments were a little dated, but this was made up for with the comfort of the unit. It was a nice sized unit with a large bedroom and bathroom. The lounges were very comfortable, the king bed was good. All the kitchen appliances were like new and as clean as new. The setting was beautiful with lovely gardens and landscaping. There were plenty of towels and pillows as well as more than enough coffee and tea available for us for a week. It was also in a good location as we could walk to the centre of town even though generally people drive everywhere.

• Julie (10/5): Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. - Spacious airy rooms, well equipped kitchen and awesome BBQ area. Super large bed. Fan was a welcome addition. Great water pressure in the shower. Availability of books and DVDs in the guest lounge. Very quiet and beautiful grounds. Great supply of coffee, sugar and tea sachets. Very modern washing machines at no charge for guests to use with laundry sachets in the unit. Fantastic set up. A second couch would have been great to help with lounging around whilst watching tv.

Peaceful location. Our 9th stay on Island and would use this accommodation again and recommend to others. Special thankyou to Jannica for all her help. Nothing comes to mind.

• Garry (7/5): The apartment was spacious and well-furnished with functioning facilities. - Breakfast: N/A. Location: somewhat a distance to walk to the shops of Burnt Pine township, but the semi-rural outlook and nice views probably made up for this. Space: plenty of space throughout the apartment, which comprised a kitchenette, a lounge-room, a bedroom, and a bathroom. Wi-Fi: There was free Wi-Fi available, and this meant that I was able to use my mobile phone. (Note that Norfolk Island is NOT connected to Australia's mobile network.) Carparking: The allotted car-parking space was conveniently located outside the front door of the apartment. There was an infestation of cockroaches in Apartment 12. During my 2 1/2 week stay, I killed a total of 6 cockroaches using the Mortein spray that was made available in a kitchen cupboard. I also found and killed a Huntsman spider. I would suggest that the entire apartment probably needs to be fumigated throughout by professional pest-controllers.

It's not luxury and the rooms are dated but it was comfortable, bed was very comfy, and very clean and great value and had all we needed. Location was central to everything. We were quite happy overall so no complaints. Maybe a bit more wifi would be good but when our complimentary 2gbs each ran out, they were happy to give us more.

Need a dryer in the guest laundry. Friendlier management upon arrival and drop off to car hire would increase rating quite marginally.

The kitchen was well set up and even a picnic basket with plates, etc, to use for self-catering lunches. The fresh bananas which were available to pick free from the bunch were a bonus.
• JUDITH (10/5): Comfortable,affordable,clean and handy to town - We found it to be a most relaxing destination with activities to suit all needs. Many tours available, but in our case just local activities and walking in the nature reserves and swimming and snorkelling at beautiful Emily bay

There is a microwave and ahe bedroom is big, as is the very comfortable bed. It is lovely to sit outside. The bathroom is spacious and has an excellent shower. The owners and staff are great and very helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Daydreamer is handy to town and is within walking distance. There is a self laundry and drying area. Also a BBQ.I would recommend this motel.
