Guest Reviews
- Anna (7/5): - Staff was helpful. Comfortable and clean. Close to campus. My key didn’t work but the attendant was very helpful and helped me right away.
- Jeff (8/5): Everything you need for a quick night's sleep. - Front desk guy was cool. Parking
- Jessica (5/5): -
- Kipp (10/5): Don’t overlook this well maintained retro motel - Although the property is older, my room was well maintained and very clean. The onsite staff who maintain the rooms were incredibly nice, attentive, and helpful. Also, my room was very quiet. I had zero complaints on my stay. However, the units use room type air conditioners which might bother some sleepers. I discovered it completely masked any outside sounds and facilitated better sleep.
- Morones (10/5): Would definitely stay again - Easily located and short ride to DePauw’s campus. Quick and easy check in/check out. Great and professional customer service. Economical find! Although, the room was very clean and had clean fresh paint and lighting, maybe better bedding, pillows and curtains can be updated.
- Frederica (4/5): I wouldn’t stay there again. - It was very clean. My door key pass would not work. I had to go to the office 10 times to get my door opened for me.
- Kimberly (4/5): -
- Tyler (10/5): I got exactly what I paid for. Was a great place to just crash for the night. - Staff was extremely friendly and I felt safe. Sure, the place is a little dated, but it was the cheapest place around. Honestly nothing.
- Patricia (8/5): - The room was clean. The staff was great. The room was larger than what I thought it would be and the bed was comfortable. Would I stay there again yes. The only complaint I have is no wifi in the room. I had to go outside.
- Greg (5/5): - Modest accomodations, but the owner was very gracious in adjusting to our arrival, which was very late.
- Orval (3/5): Awful - Location Dirty stained towels and bedding floor dirty bathroom nasty
- Joseph (9/5): I arrived, given a room, slept, went to get dinner, slept again. No issues. - Nice place. Owner was friendly enough. It's not the ritz but also it's a comfortable easy place to crash.
- Matt (2/5): Avoid this place at all costs - Nothing- I saw the room, smelled the room and immediately turned around and left. EVERYTHING.
This place had transient guests, place smelled. Smelled bad.
- Laura (8/5): I would stay here again. - Rough looking outside- but very clean inside. Could keep up better with outside ashtrays.
- Younse (10/5): Very comfortable little Inn. - This little Inn was great for me. Down home people, very nice & friendly. The Inn is very clean & well taken care of. Family owned & operated. I really enjoyed my stay & hoped to stay here again some day.
- Senn (9/5): Great place, but it needs a few fixes. - The location and that it was recently remodeled and clean. No garbage can in the bathroom, no kleenex. We had knick from management at 10 pm to move our car. When we had questions in the morning, both times answered in no shit and he looked like we woke him up.
- Peterson (7/5): Simple and fair - Fair rate, good reception Heavily used towels
- Melissa (8/5): Very good -
- Tim (8/5): Good stay ! -
- Ed (6/5): Motel was clean, cheap and conveniently located to where I was visiting. - No Breakfast

- Philip (8/5): Very good -
- Sandra (5/5): A place to stay if you have to - Close to the covered bridge festival. It was very small, not very clean. The bathroom has no counterspace. One of the washcloths were stained, and they had one very small trashcan for all of your trash. Staff was friendly, but the room was not so good.
- Joel (10/5): Good value for the money - Clean Entrance to my room through laundry room
Can’t turn tv on or off with remote
- Curtis (9/5): Superb -
- Scott (9/5): Superb -
- Bruce (8/5): Very good -
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anne (8/5): Old motel on the outside with fresh, clean remodel on the inside. - Clean. Quiet, large room. Pergo flooring. Worn towels.
- Liam (4/5): Musty smelling room, very basic, expensive for what it is. - Musty smell in the room. To enter room #14 you first have to go through the laundry room. Weird. Trying to sleep at 11pm on Saturday night and someone is making noise in the laundry room.
- Bruce (5/5): Passable -
- Anonymous (9/5): It was all I needed for this trip. - Quaint and close No coffee pot.

- Rebecca (8/5): Very good -
- Marcia (5/5): Passable - The price was fair It was dirty. Towels were stained
- John (9/5): We will stay at Greencastle Inn again because the staff went out of their way to please us. - The staff was friendly and respectful. A minor detail was noted, but it was immediately addressed. The checkout time was extended to accommodate our plans. We liked the plank floors rather than carpet. There was not a place to hang clothes, no Kleenix, no coffee.
- Julie (4/5): Disappointing - The room was clean. But smelled of cigarette smoke. It was cold because it only had a portable heater to warm it. The sheets had cigarette hole burns and there was no dead bolt in the door. I pushed a chair up under the door handle for extra security.
- Isaiah (9/5): Superb -
- Kitrina (5/5): Passable -
- Rosemarie (7/5): Good - The lady was so sweet. Wanted to make sure I had enough clean towels ect . It's a older hotel. It is what it is though and with not many options not horrible and I am sure I will stay there again.
