Rien
- Jean-Guy (7/5): -

- Jim (10/5): We enjoyed our stay, the building is a very historical land mark in town, and nicely restored. - The breakfast was excellent, the staff are very friendly and professional . In general all was very good, the shower head could have been better if it had a more flexible swivel to control the directional flow better as the shower stall is some what restricted in size.
- Suzanne (7/5): Had a great time in Knowlton. Wish Inn was more updated - Location is great. Room was quiet. Room was up almost 3 flights of stairs. Inn is very outdated though and should include breakfast..was hard to even get the complimentary coffee because it was never out on the bar and always had to ask for it.

- Mariline (10/5): It’s like staying at a museum! - It’s like a museum in there!! The building, the decoration, the accessories, the pictures! It felt like a trip back in time!
And it was low season, I was the only guest for 2 of my 4 nights. I really enjoyed the calm atmosphere and tranquility. And the owners were so nice to me. I had the VIP treatment, with the visit of the building and free breakfast.
I really really enjoyed!
- Michelle (10/5): - The owner was our contact, she was warm and friendly, making us feel welcome. She was informative about the area and willing to assist with mapping the area out.
The hotel is older and they are working to make repairs and updates. It was.very clean and comfortable. Nothing to dislike
- Normand (8/5): -
- Jack (8/5): -
- Craig (8/5): Seemed to short staffed - Beautiful old building but in need of more renovation. But what has been completed is done well Lack of handrail on upper portion of stairs
- Jean-daniel (8/5): -
- Judith (4/5): Fawlty Towers ... never again - This hotel is very dated - drab and uncomfortable. The new owners are very pleasant but I question whether they will be able to invest sufficient money to bring this up to a standard that matches the prices charged. Generally drab interior, no elevator to access rooms, small and crowded rooms with very dated furniture and bathroom facilities. I know the new owners are keen to improve the facility but at present, it felt like Fawlty Towers!
- Anne (10/5): Beautiful building - Refurbishment of a beautiful building Liked everything

- Theodore (7/5): We enjoyed our stay. - Clean, location, staff went out of their way to help, friendly. The breakfast was delicious. The mattress was uncomfortable, lumpy, and it sagged especially on the left side.
- Patricia (10/5): - We loved the inn and our room - so pretty, well maintained and very unique!
- Albertina (9/5): what a pleasure to be able to stay in a historic place like this - The location was perfect. We had a room looking out the back and it was very quiet. The historic building is well maintained and the staff was excellent. We had a pleasant stay in this gem of a hotel and I can highly recommend it i liked everything

- Marjorie (10/5): - The house is a beautiful Victorian mansion, well preserved and full of charming details. There are many steps to the upper floors and no elevator. Our room was comfortable and clean and the heat-A/C worked well. Breakfast is delicious and reasonably priced. We walked 10 minutes into town for shopping and other meals. I would happily stay here again.
- Janice (10/5): Friendly and historical - The hotel was clean and comfortable. It is centrally located and a lovely historical inn. The own was extremely helpful and friendly!
- Alison (10/5): - Samantha was working the front desk and pub and made me feel very welcome. Which was great since my car had just broken down. This place really is beautiful.
- Martha (8/5): Charming and Welcoming - Charming decor. Felt like going back in time. Pleasant deck to relax on. Clean and comfortable. Our room was upstairs, and the owners helped us with our luggage. It would have been nice if the restaurant were open for breakfast every day. (We did have a nice breakfast on our last day.) No refrigerator.
- Ross (10/5): - A wonderful location, great charm, super friendly staff, walkable to pretty well everything
- Catherine (9/5): - Le personnel a été très chaleureux. L'auberge a beaucoup de charme.
- Bonnie (Bonita) (9/5): Quaint, peaceful, picturesque getaway in a sweet little village. I hope to go back one day. - Historic inn in an historic village. Terrific staff. True Victorian inn. Authentic furnishings. Mattress was a bit too firm for me but my husband loved it. Hard to improve on that!
- Eric (8/5): Perfect place for a short get-away! - The friendliness of the staff was a high point, as well as the historical hotel and decor. Everything was great, simple, easy and friendly! I can't complain.
- Antoinette (8/5): It was very pleasant & staff were helpful. - We did not have breakfast as it was not served on the days we stayed there. The bedroom was slightly dated - the wash basin in the bedroom reminded me of the 1970s Ireland.
- Craig (10/5): - Quaint as a Victorian lace button.
However lack of guests made for most services being closed during our stay.
Would have loved to have a drink in their gorgeous pub.
Also, make sure you try your "night code".
Mine didn't work, was trapped outside for 90min after slipping out for a 5:30 cigarette.
- David (10/5): - Simply outstanding.
- Newman (9/5): Would recommend to friends and relatives. No questions. - Staff and owners were very obliging and helpful.
- Dennis (10/5): - What a nice place to stay,if you like old country inn, this is the place to stay, wonderful staff.
- Meredith (3/5): If you like a Victorian older Hotel - Proximity to downtown. L'Occitane bath products No free breakfast. Only coffee offered.
Annoying and loud fan/light in the bathroom.
Pedestal sink did not have any room for my cosmetic case.
Too too many stairs and no elevator.
After 10 PM, need a passcode to enter the hotel. Really??? Felt like I was in college again.
Did not like Victorian feel of the hotel. Made a mistake with this reservation.
- Carolyn (4/5): -
- lynne (10/5): It was a wonderful relaxing safe get away for me. - The veggie omlette was delicious as was the coffee which was robust and flavorful.
The room was comfortable freshly decorated.
The AC kept a comfortable temperature.
The location was central to a lot. Nothing really
Personnel
- Donna (8/5): - The property is old but in good condition. While the property was full our assigned room was considerably smaller than what I had expected. The service was excellent. Breakfast at the Inn was very good and reasonably priced. If you are the last to check in you get assigned to the 3rd floor which has very small rooms.
- Normand (10/5): -
- David (8/5): Very enjoyable visit and an excellent staff. - Excellent breakfast. Everything was excellent. One comment would be to have a “shower cap” available in the shower. The female staff member went above and beyond with her wonderful customer service when we arrived in the morning.
- sidney (7/5): -
- Stanley (8/5): -
- Robyn (10/5): - This historic inn is exactly what it presents itself to be; it has history & charm, plus it is updated where it needs to be. Lovely, quiet, and peaceful; the grounds are calm and very pretty, the pool is refreshing, the staff are friendly & professional.
- Tina (10/5): - Chantal and Brandon, the owners, are friendly and attentive to ensure all your needs are met. This historic gem is quaint and to be enjoyed by those who appreciate history and quiet downtime. One will receive a great welcome with personalized service. The room is Victorian style and very clean. The toiletries are L'Occitane, which is top quality. I will definitely be returning next year.
- Martin (7/5): -
- Francine Bertrand (9/5): -
- Pierre (9/5): -
- Dominique (9/5): -
- Marcos (7/5): - Bien conservé. Bâtiment historique interessant.
- Heather (10/5): -
- Deborah (10/5): - Great staff
- John (9/5): -
- Stark (10/5): Comfort, coziness, and charm - all in a lovely setting and staffed by lovely people! - The Auberge is so charming and filled with history! The location was perfect for us, as we were able to leave our car in the parking lot and walk to everywhere in Knowlton that we wanted to go. Our room was clean, comfortable, and blissfully cool and quiet. And the staff - both at reception and in the dining room, where we had a wonderful breakfast - were friendly and helpful. We plan to go back some day in the near future! Okay, there's no elevator - but it's an older property, so taking the stairs wasn't a big deal. We were even offered help with our bags, which was really kind, but we decided we needed the exercise!

- Spattz (7/5): JE CONNAIS L'HOTEL DEPUIS 30 ANS ET CROYAIS-MOI TRES BEAU TRAVAIL -
- LYNNE (10/5): - This is a lovely old inn. The owners are delightful, the inn is beautiful, and breakfast waa wonderful. Highly recommended.
- Robichaud (8/5): -
Beau site.
grand bar. Table de billard.
- Diane (10/5): -
- Mario (8/5): -
- Jamie (10/5): - Very cozy and intimate. Creaky floors and plenty of charm.
- Seth (10/5): Relaxing and historical - Wonderful winter getaway, highly recommended!
- Anick (9/5): -
- SANDRA (3/5): Disappointing. - The auberge itself has character and the furniture throughout reflects the period charm. It was nicely decorated for the Christmas season. The toilet hadn't been flushed from the last guest and the water hadn't been used in a while since it ran brown. There was no bath mat, no an extra blanket. I could feel the springs in the mattress. Although the banister was beautifully decorated with Christmas garlands, I could no longer use it for assistance to go up/down the stairs. I had obvious difficulty carrying my suitcase up the stairs while the manager watched me struggle. Due to private party bookings, the kitchen was closed to guests staying at the hotel and no alternative was available or suggested.
- Sue (10/5): Our hosts were delightful! -
- GILES (6/5): - Vintage feel and preserved look of common rooms and bar. Room cramped. Bed uncomfortable. Lack of breakfast.
- Susan (10/5): -
- Pierluigi (10/5): -
- Cynthia (10/5): -
- Josee (9/5): - Fabuleux cachet
- tufo (10/5): Left pieces of my heart at the inn….want to go back during every season! - Super servers! Menu variety sufficient. More Victorian decorations in lobby bathroom.
- Leslie Ann (8/5): - Breakfast was great, staff are friendly and accommodating. The Inn is a very interesting building with so many possibilities for events since it has a hall with seating, dance floor and stage, a restaurant (steak house that was not open at time of our visit), and a pub and restaurant which has great ambiance. The antiques throughout are interesting.
