Guest Reviews
- Lonnie (1/5): Dont know because I tried to cancel my room but I still got charged - I don’t know because, I cancelled my room and got charged for the room still and I’ll never ever use Booking. Garbage ever again Getting charged for the room and the hotel said they’d refund me so I feel lied to and I should sue
- Thorsten (7/5): -
- Denise (9/5): We very much enjoyed our stay in Prince Rupert at this hotel - It was a very nice hotel and the staff were super excellent and friendly. There was a shortage of parking space underground in a secure area
- Sheryl (8/5): -
- Donna (9/5): -
- Jaynne (8/5): - Convenient location and parking.
- Olga (10/5): Amazing - Location
- Brad (8/5): -
- Nicole (5/5): Quiet, good location and fun attractions - All the staff were very friendly, very easy location, it was clean. This is the quietest hotel I’ve stayed at in years. Normally I wake up when people are walking in the hallways etc and I could not hear any of that here. The batting cages right next door were super popular with our kids. The toilet didn’t drain every time it was flushed, the show switch was super hard to engage, no hot food breakfast options the second day.
- Harriet (3/5): -
- Klevgaard (10/5): -
- Krista (10/5): Special people, special place! - The staff were so lovely, the rooms extremely comfortable and the breakfast was delicious! They went above and beyond to make our stay amazing!
- CRaig (4/5): - Friendly staff It was outdated, old and smelly and the carpets were dirty through the hotel. The hotel needed to be upgraded 25 years ago.
- Ray (2/5): -
- Olga (10/5): -
- Barbara (2/5): - Rooms very dirty. Furniture falling apart. Parking inadequate.
- Miloslav (8/5): -
- Wendy (10/5): - Asked where a good place was to go for dinner, and the advice was great!
- William (8/5): - First room toilet didn't work properly, but staff quickly moved us to a different room. It was comfortable. The continental breakfast was pretty good. There is a grocery store next to the hotel.
- ALLAN (8/5): - The room was good.
- David (6/5): - good for the price dated needs some updating
- Brogan, (10/5): - All was good
- Anne (8/5): - Arrived very late from Ferry Staff member manned reception cheerfully which made us feel welcome
- Alan (6/5): - Met our expectations
- Wilfred (8/5): - Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the trails around and eateries.
- Jeff (10/5): - Staff was friendly and quick at check in.
- Cecil (10/5): - We had a very late check-in and the staff were set up and ready when we arrived off the ferry from port hardy , the room was clean . The complementary breakfast was good with lots of options.
- Norman (8/5): - Very helpful staff, thank you. The beds were excellent but the pillows should definitely be upgraded.
- Vivian (2/5): Never again - The bed was comfortable. Dirty, worn hall and stair carpets. No underground parking as advertised the first night. Breakfast was poor. Bathroom fittings need repair. Staff were indifferent to our concerns. They are starting some updates according to a sign at the desk, but not in time for us. This worn-out hotel was not remotely worth the $500 they charged for a two-night stay.
- Doug (6/5): - Carpets dirty on stairs and hallways. Inside room carpet dirty drapes would not cover window bathroom shower not working properly furniture stained a bad experience
- vincenzo (6/5): Struttura vecchia ma utile per chi prende il traghetto - la struttura è vicino al porto personale poco cordiale, camere vecchie
- Muff (1/5): This should never, ever have been listed on Booking.com. - Absolutely nothing. The place was a dump, room stank, was filthy and disgusting.
- Cristine (8/5): - Friendly helpful staff. Centrally located.
- Wilhelmina (6/5): - Hotel is outdated even though they are doing renovations our room needed a complete new washroom in my opinion!
- Saddler (8/5): -
- Reginald (6/5): - Hotel staff was friendly. Boil water advisory made all water sources in hotel undrinkable. Only safe water was in lobby which meant brushing teeth or coffee for morning was a trip to lobby. However room was spotless and hotel very accessible to docks and other interesting locations.
- Frederick (6/5): - The room was dark even when all the lights were on. My stay at the Moby Dick Inn was nicer.
- Margaret (10/5): - Grocery store right across the street so it was easy to provision the next stage of the journey. Check in very efficient and desk staff had helpful tips for dining and for the ferry trip.
- Terry (8/5): -
- Donna (8/5): - Clean room
- Frank (8/5): -
- Ken (4/5): - Property was advertised as having an eating facility and contential breakfast. It had neither. Nor, were the location surroundings similar.
- Isabella (5/5): -
- Peter (6/5): - noisy street people, lots of junk in parking garage
- Neil (8/5): - Clean room. Comfortable bed. Nice staff. Breakfast available starting 5AM; great for fishermen wanting an early start. No AC; fans only.
- Candida (8/5): - Nice room- noisy neighbors- hotel needs updating-but generally okay
- Nuria (6/5): -
- Keith (9/5): -
- sheryl (4/5): - When we arrived off the ferry at Prince Rupert it was 1:30a.m. Getting off the elevator on the 3rd floor the carpet was filthy (keep your shoes on). Entering room 307 the beds were not even made, so they sent us to 320, now it is 2a.m. We were dead tired after our 18 hour ferry ride so just crawled into our p.j's and climbed into bed. The next morning we noticed our white comforters were coffee stained and dirty on both beds. Pass on this one folks...
- Keith (10/5): -
- Chantel (4/5): - There was a nasty smell in the room.. the mirrors I don’t think have been cleaned in years.. the breakfast is meh.. great staff though
- Ashley (4/5): - Lovely staff. The rooms could really of used the newer update instead of the entry. Tape weren’t securely attached to the sink.
- Nelson (8/5): -
- David (10/5): - Very convenient from ferry. Quiet and comfortable. Good continental breakfast.
- Heather (8/5): - Staff very good, breakfast good.
The room had some issues, bed comfortable and clean, but the bathroom needs work, moldy grout in the shower area, dirty baseboards, The window in the room had something smeared across it, needs to be cleaned.
- Laurence (9/5): -
- Yuen (6/5): Comfortable - Meal not included. Parking limited, we parked on street. Facility old, interior needs an appearance update.
- Trina (3/5): - No AC, no screens on windows. Property is old and run down, to charge the amount they do is astronomical.
- Whitcliffe (10/5): - The property is dated but clean. The front desk staff were excellent, especially Terrance. The continental breakfast had an excellent variety. And unlike the Eagle Bluff, the rooms are cleaned daily!
- Jim (6/5): -
- Joyce (8/5): Comfortable and relaxing. - I never had breakfast there. I wish you still had the restaurant there.
- Elizabeth (8/5): - It’s improved
- Hanne (8/5): - It's an older property. So basic amenities. Lights not working in room. Delightful staff at check-in and check-out and a very nice continental breakfast with good array of itens to chose ftom.
- Jarom (6/5): - Washroom needs renovation. Shower doesn't work
- Christine (2/5): - They didn’t have my booking which I paid for a king bed and they put us in a queen room.
- Alex (8/5): - Liked the underground parking, friendly helpful staff but the hotel needs to spend real $ to reno it's rooms before i would stay there again
- Bernie (8/5): - Clean, convenient and reasonably priced
- Eric (10/5): - Clean but needs a refresh paint, furniture, bathroom are all beat up
- Patrice Rabia (6/5): Très moyen - Le personnel Wifi et literie de mauvaise qualité pas d’eau pour la douche et la moquette etait sale
- CHAD (8/5): - Convent and decent location
- keith (8/5): - The view was the roof of the restaurant.
- Jeannie (10/5): - Great staff. We arrived very early but they let us park and leave our bags at the front desk.
- Gord (8/5): -
Had no cold water
- Patrick (6/5): - Got in late off the ferry. Was trying to go to sleep around 1am and random loud noise that seemed to be someone working late at night. Felt like I was going back into the 80s. Overall it fit what we needed which was a cheaper place to sleep but wasn’t anything beyond that
- Luca (8/5): -
- Stephen (4/5): - An adequately sized room and a modest continental breakfast but no place to hang a coat or clothes, inexcusable in such a rainy place. There was a sign on the door warning us to boil the water, a warning we understood when we turned on the bathroom tap and dark brown liquid poured out. We searched online and discovered that the water was polluted with coliform bacteria from sewage.
All in all a most unsatisfactory experience.
- Grills (7/5): - Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful When I booked it was with the understanding there was a restaurant on-site, only to discover it closed down a month before I stayed.
- Jennifer (10/5): Clean & comfy - Property is a little worn, but clean and comfortable. Roomy suites, microwave and mini fridge, Keurig. Breakfast is included. Parking is free but limited.
- chris (4/5): - Stay anywhere else.
- Helena (7/5): -
- Rhonda and Ron (4/5): - This property is in major need of updates. Sliding door was not sealed, open on bottom easily heard noise on highway. We slept for one night, bed was ok, pillows need to be rrplaced. Breakfast muffins tastes good. Continental type breakfast. There is a sign at the front desk thatvsays they are in the process of shampooing rugs, replacing windows and updating breakfast area.
- Sachiko (10/5): - Very nice staff!
- María Isabel (10/5): Un sitio estupendo donde esperar el ferry hacia Vancouver island - Me gusto todo, muy bien de precio. Nada
- Louise (8/5): - Stay was fine, there was a boil water notice which was a bit frustrating. Had to buy water to even brush our teeth. Not the best neighbourhood but nothing happened.
We really liked the town.
- brayden (8/5): - It was located close to fishing and the beds were comfortable. No AC but rooms were equipped with fans. Rooms were clean.
- Todd (4/5): - Dirty
- margo (4/5): - The room was clean, extremely old and in need of Reno's. Brown stains around the sink and in tubs. It was quite noisy, with extremely thin walls. Could hear people shouting, coughing, etc in other rooms. Outside there was constant shouting and we also heard gunshots a couple times though the night.
- Monika (10/5): - The pillows werent comfortable. Shower didnt work first morning. The breakfast ciuld have a few more choices. Hotel was close to everything which was great.
- debbie (4/5): - Dirty, heavily stained carpet. Musty odor. No air conditioning. Yellow water. Mattress was saggy and wore out.
The Early continental breakfast was ok.
- Linda (10/5): - The staff were nice and the room was clean and comfortable.
- Tanya (6/5): - Okay place but not new for sure
- Robert (4/5): - The bed was just OK... a little too firm for my likes. The office clerk politely accomodated all of us ferry passengers who arrived at 12:30am. But then there was no parking - we had to park in the grocery store parking lot across the street, and run back and forth through heavy rain. The facility was old and lacked updates.
- Ildiko (10/5): - Comfortable beds, nice room.
Breakfast is simple.
- Liliane (8/5): - its location is good could use a facelift old age smell shower was not working properly
- Shaun (2/5): - Extremely overpriced, Very filthy and outdated.
- Tristen (6/5): - Was decent for the price and was happy they had early breakfast at 5am for the fishers. It’s about a 20 min walk to cow bay, would stay closer next time. Facilities are a little dated and very firm mattress.
- Sara (4/5): - Very different from photos
- victor (4/5): - nothing special. was close to the ferry only redeeming attribute.
- Brian E. (6/5): Sad accommodations. - First. There was no A/C in the room. The room had a fan to move the warm air around. The beds were comfortable. Second. The shower did not work, so we notified the desk. They repaired the problem promptly. The Inn is old and out dated. The carpets were old and stained. We would not stay here again.
