• PeterMarianne (10/5): - I have stayed here a couple of times and always come back because of location, service and the comfortable accommodation. It offers everything you need for a quiet night and at a very reasonable rate. A short walk across the street and you are on a beautiful beach.

• marisah (7/5): Good value - Good value, location and beds were very comfortable The room was freezing when we arrived, heat wasnt turned on and it took about 2 hours to warm up! It’s February why is the heat off 🥲 Also there’s a smart tv but no remote so we could only watch cable?? Weird

The extra bonus was real cream for your morning coffee...a lovely bonus. Highly recommend this motel. There was nothing to not like.

• Margaret (10/5): Excellent - The rooms are large and spacious. Even thought we didn’t request it, the room had 2 king size beds, which gives an idea of how large the room is. Large screen tv, good for Stanley Cup hockey games, microwave, refirdgerator and Koerig coffee maker. Nothing not to like except that the rooms look out onto the parking lot, but not really a problem.

• Jordan (2/5): Nicely redone room but so loud on the bottom floor that I didn't stay for the 2nd night I paid for - The quaint little room had clearly been remodeled with nice new floors, countertops, fixtures. Lots of lighting, multiple plaecs to sit, a Kuerig with plenty of coffee pods. Noise. It's just an old building and if I'd been on the first floor it probably would have been great. But being on the bottom floor, I could hear every footstep, movement, plumbing usage of my very active neighbors above me. I ended up skipping the second night of my reservation and driving home 2 hours late at night to avoid trying to sleep through the noise again.

• Darren (10/5): - The office person had difficulty understanding me when I asked a question about the room or property, but that was a very minor issue. The other staff were all super-friendly and helpful. Room was clean, and sufficient for our needs. Would have appreciated a vent in the kitchenette, as without one we triggered the smoke & heat alarm while cooking. I took the hotplate outside to finish cooking to resolve the smoke detector issue.

Parking is marked according to unit which is a great idea since the space is limit - There have been quality upgrades to the unit which were very good. New vanity & sink. Newish comfortable beds. Good water pressure. They really need to upgrade the chairs. Tattered and uncomfortable chairs covered by someone’s grandmother. The cushions were sagging and looked dirty.

• Phillipa (9/5): Excellent place to stay in Qualicum Beach - A great value, comfortable place to stay in lovely Qualicum Beach. Very comfortable bed with luxury bed linens.Decent coffee choices, earl grey tea in the room and chocolates in reception. Short walk to the beach and to a couple of restaurants. Only 1 bedside light in our room, no 202 with a navy light shade, too dark to read by. 2 lights with cream or white shades would make the room perfect.

• Wayne (9/5): The Ocean Crest is a old school, clean and quiet property with easy access to the beach - Very clean and quiet Had a god cable system or the large, flat screen TV and a Keurig coffee maker with a small fridge and microwave. We ran out of toilet paper and could have used a better supply of towels The AC unit was quirky and didn’t maintain the set temperature, resulting in th room becoming either too cold or too warm overnight. No exhaust fan in bathroom.
