Brad (4/5): - I think we were the only ones staying in this hotel. I had to call the front desk person to come to the hotel. First room was a disaster. AC didn't work, the bed was falling off the frame. Second room was much better. AC worked and bed was not falling apart. Room was comfortable, just don't look a the filthy windows/floors. I would not stay here again.

Celina (8/5): - We stayed here for one night checking out the mountains. The owner of the hotel is extremely friendly and a very nice guy. The room is clean and spacious but when we checked in, the bathroom fan was broken so it didn’t smell great. However, the owner found a technician and fixed it for us. The people in the area is super friendly and nice as well. Definitely worth checking out the mountain region if you visit PR.

Verified traveler (8/5): Mountain stay - Nestled in the mountains of Barranquitas, we had a seamless check in and kind staff. We did have hot water and the rooms were clean- only negatives were the tiny, uncomfortable beds and mosquitos in the room. Restaurant next door was AMAZING! Will be back if they have larger beds and replaced...

Además, te dejan una cafetera en el area de las habitaciones donde puedes prepararte el café. Yo le añadiría un microondas. El hotel queda cerca del “trail” del Cañón San Cristobal. Pegado al hotel hay un restaurante y la comida es rica y la atención también. Definitivamente lo recomiendo.
Bari (10/5): - Canyon Boutique Hotel has two wonderful features I enjoy: a very helpful, friendly staff and a safe, quiet place up in the mountains of Puerto Rico. It is in the heart of the island. A downside, however, might be the absence of night life in the area.

Manuel Angel (8/5): Comodo, placentero y centrico. - La estadia fue placentera, el lugar limpio, centrico y muy acogedor. Lo unico que incomdo un poco a mi pareja fue el olor que habia en el cuarto a fruta que como esta es alegica a estos olores le causo incomodida. Lo demas estuvo excelente.

Proving anyone can add the word "Hotel" to their place, this hostel has windowless individual rooms with no common space ie lobby, no ice machine, etc. The Room was not clean had live roaches and body fluid stained sheets. A cleaning lady was flustered because she couldn't find ANY body-fluid clean sheets to use when we showed her the problem. SKIP!

The only issue was the toilet didn’t work great and they tried to repair it. The people in the area are very nice and you always feel safe. Other than the long drive into the mountains it was a nice place to stay.

Verified traveler (4/5): Unless changes made - a fire trap - No one was available at the hotel nor on the phone when I arrived at 8:00. Someone from the restaurant found me someone from the hotel, who was very nice. The first room had no window and the metal grate exit door locked you in at night. If there was a fire I would be trapped unless I made it to the metal door and remembered to bring my key. I asked to be moved and I was for an additional $11 since the only rooms available had a refrigerator. I did not check the first room but the second did not have a GFCI in the bathroom. This is a beautiful hotel but a fire trap under their current setup. I hope they make changes because it was excellent besides being a fire trap. Virtually no internet available.
Siria (8/5): - Shopping center, pharmacy, and gas station near the area; free parking; communication with the staff was deficient, I called more than six times in three days to the two phone numbers listed to confirm my reservation and nobody answered. The same day in the morning I received a text message with instructions for the express check-in (there was no welcoming greeting nor attending personnel, except for the maid).

We were told about being able to buy dinner and eat there before 10pm, we stayed there for 4 days not once were we able to just eat and just relax for a dinner. We paid for a queen bed and got a full size instead everytime I went to try and get coffee or no coffee for me to make it myself or coffee pot was gone from the coffee maker had to buy coffee else where also everyday, says hot water nope no hot water for a shower my room was supposed to be two rooms since it was wife son and myself as soon as you open the room door couples bed is there then another room with no door next to it no privacy for my son to go to the bathroom he had to go through our room. All and all it was ok but would not stay again.

Angel (10/5): - Been at The Canyon more than once for leisure. Staff and Management are very professional and approachable. There are many places to eat from Mc Donald’s Burger King to original Puertorican delicacy or cousine. And yes I do recommend it.
Angel (10/5): - Have been at The Canyon at least three times before rooms are clean the area is safe and plenty of places/ restaurants to eat from breakfast to dining in the evening , You can either drive to Barranquitas or Aibonito where you can find plenty of places to eat typical Puertorican cuisine. During the weekend the atmosphere is very upbeat.

Verified traveler (2/5): Bad experience at Canyon boutique hotel - The rooms was clean. I had my room change 3 time. In the first room the toilet water didn’t flush good. The windows locks were broken. The second room. The toilet knob didn’t work and too much noise by the road. Also, the biggest centerpiece I ever seen in my life. 10 inches and it was hard to kill. Never will stay in this hotel again.

Randall (10/5): - Was nervous when I booked it knowing the area and knowing not popular tourist spots. was pleasantly surprised upon entering room. communication was great up front with lock box key retrieval and drop off. didn't leave room until next morning after a long day so hotel definitely served its purpose from that capacity.
Angel (10/5): - Been there at least twice and I have no complaints is nicely located if you are familiar with Puertorican cuisine there are lots of places to eat! The scenery around is beautiful and you can reach either northern or southern part of the Island in no time.

Leida (10/5): Beautiful Hotel - If I could give 10 stars I would. Lauri at the front desk is amazing, she waited for me to arrive to check me in even though her shift was over. So nice of her. She suggested some places to eat since I knew nothing of the area. The room was beautiful, spotless, so inviting, the smell of freshness captivating, it’s the best hotel I’ve stayed at in a while. I would highly recommend and it would definitely be the hotel I would stay at if I’m in this area again. I’m so happy they also have a location in San Juan that I can stay at since I go there at times too. Thank you Lauri for making my stay so amazing. I’m so pleased.

The room was clean the bed was comfortable and everyone was very helpful. I will stay at this hotel again if in the area.

We arrived around 10 pm finding nobody at the desk, doors where closed with an indication to call for check-in. The area has no signal for t-mobile so we had to ask at the diner down next to the park and a nice man helped us calling the property from his phone. Wifii worked only around the stairs while in our room n. 2 signal was dead. Clean enough but still we have found black long hair on the towel hanger. Terrible experience and customer care
