- shavel (6/5): What a Disappointment!! - Breakfast was horrible! It is an adult only hotel but serve cereal for breakfast. Description says 'cooked to serve' breakfast but none of it was cooked. Total lies and such a disappointment to wake up on your first morning to be given chocolate cereal. Made a complaint but told nothing can be done. Also, pool was freezing cold so didn't use it but other than that the room was uniquely decorated and clean. Staff were nice and helpful. Definitely not worth the price so will not stay there again.
- Christopher (6/5): - The good: This is in a nice quiet location, abput a 10 minute walk from the Pyrgos city center. The suite we stayed in had a nice outdoor pool which was great and looked over the area into the ocean which made for some great sunset views. The breakfast was nice, being delivered to your room with some customization options. The staff were amazing and really friendly. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The bad: The room itself, while nice, had a few things that needed to be addressed. The toilet seat cover and seat itself were broken, so lifting them up and down was pointless. The blinds near the pool weren't working properly and we had to struggle to move them. The area around the bed had a lot of crakes and pieces of cement were peeling off. Overall, it was a nice hotel, but for the price, it needs a little work.
- Sorcha (10/5): - I knew I wanted to stay at this hotel the moment I saw it and read a few reviews and it did not disappoint. We had a suite with a pool (nice size pool) and the views were stunning overlooking the sea the village and a beautiful sunset every evening. The breakfast to your room every morning is a nice touch along with the robes and slippers felt like we had a private little spa break. The village of pyrgos was perfect 5 mins walk. Lots of hidden lovely restaurants little shops/cafes etc. with gorgeous views. We hired a quad through the hotel and explored for the day. The lady at reception recommended lots of places for us to go and see. Oia is a must and is stunning but so so busy I was glad we chose to stay this side of the island. Kamari was a lovely ten mins drive to the beach too with lots of shops/restaurants etc and a black sand beach. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend.

- Tammy (6/5): - The hotel arranged taxi pickup from the ferry port as was planned when I booked the room. The young man that checked us in was very friendly and helpful. And I was very pleased that our suite had 2 separate bedrooms since we were a party of 4. Unfortunately the good ends there. The hotel really needs to invest in new towels, linens and pillows. Our towels were very stiff and had red stains that look like nail polish. The sheets and pillows had yellow stains. The room smelled good but the smell is so over powering that it upset my stomach. They need to let the guests control the strength of the scent. The a la carte breakfast was no good. Eggs were oily. OJ seemed to be powdered, not fresh. At 9 am when I had to check out there was no one at the front desk. There were other guests waiting for someone to show up. Wouldn’t stay here again.

The service was outstanding, the lovely Francesco was our favourite as he was always ready to help and make our stay comfortable and he had the best recommendations. The breakfast was lovely, offering a variety of delicious options that we got to enjoy on our balcony every morning. Our room was amazing, providing stunning views and a cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect couples getaway in Santorini!

- Mark (10/5): - I was very pleased I chose Art Hotel for my first visit to Santorini. It was easy to feel comfortable there and it's an easy walk into the village which has a lovely selection of places to eat. The pool was actually bigger than I'd expected it to me from the photos and although there isnt any "art" in the gallery at the moment it didnt worry me at all. There is however a very friendly black cat who walks around like he owns the place ! Pyrgos was a delight and I would have no hesitation to recommend Art Hotel as a good quality and peaceful base for a trip to the island. As a tip, if in doubt, take the rooms with the view !

Just 15 walk into Pyrgos though with lots of restaurants, bars and tavernas. The hotel staff were fantastic. Pyrgos is a great base. Beaches only 20 minutes drive away.
- Jason (10/5): 3 night stay - Lovely new hotel just on the outskirts of town. Easy to walk to and from town to the bus. Stayed in the Naughty room which was excellent with plenty of space and a double shower and sink. Hot tub outside front door was great with a view over the island to the sea. Staff very nice and friendly. Breakfast was super with everything you could ask for delivered to your room each morning. Booked on a recommendation and certainly wasn’t disappointed. Excellent. Nothing really to fault.

The area around hotel is secluded and you need to consider if that’s what you are looking for. However transfers to Fira, Thira or Oia are available.

They even upgraded our room while they had the best suit available! We really enjoyed our private balcony hot tub in cold nights to view the sunset and the island!!! All staff including the yonge student gentleman name George were very nice. It was great to have your ordered breakfast brought to your private suit balcony as well! Only one suggestion to improve the condition: While there is no power plug in washroom, it's a need to have at least one mirror outside the washroom to dry our hair!

It was my partner and my 3rd year anniversary so he had coordinated with the hotel to set up a romantic surprise. The room was decorated with candles and flowers and I had no idea! Here's a quick review of the property in terms of ratings: Location: 8/10 Super close to village of Pyrgos and quieter in terms of tourists, but farther from the touristy places like Oia - 30 min drive, Fira - 10 min drive) Food: 15/10 I cannot even gush about the breakfast here - they have fresh eggs/omelettes, juices, Greek pastries, coffee, AND champagne if you wish. All of this is included with your reservation and they bring it up to your room each morning. Room: 10/10 Super comfortable bed, large bathroom, private outdoor Jacuzzi! (We stayed in the Naughty suite) Service: 20/10 Our hotel staff was honestly the best part of this stay. They not only were super courteous and gave great recommendations for food, they also helped us order a second car to the port after we had a mishap and couldn't make the first transport. They also helped contact the local rental company when we left our ID at the shop and got someone to speed over with the ID. tl;dr - Staying here is highly recommended if you don't want to be close to the super busy tourist areas but still close enough to get there by rental car (we rented an ATV). Even if you arrive early, you can rest in their pool area! Super convenient, I'll be back!

- Patrick (10/5): Brilliant 4 night stay in Naughty Suite - We had a a lovely 4 night stay in The Naughty suite at the Art Hotel Santorini at the beginning of October. The room was spacious, clean and modern. The bed was comfortable with a firm mattress and the hot tub on our balcony was fantastic with the amazing sea views. The breakfast was generous with many options to cater for dietary requirements. My wife is vegan and had plenty to choose from. Champagne for breakfast (included) was also a particular treat! Only minor comment was that there were not enough hooks to hang up items of clothing etc in the room but otherwise it was well designed. The hotel is a short 8-10mins walk from the centre of Pyrgos with many options to eat and drink as well as ATMs and shops. We enjoyed our stay at the Art Hotel Santorini and would definitely stay here again.

Car is definitely required as this is not too close to anything. The hot tub was a little cold due to the cold weather. But it warmed up nicely on our last day. Marina was an excellent host always arranging special things for us.

A 10 minute stroll to the village, with quite a few restaurants and little shops, was all that was needed. Bused it into Thira and did a trip of the island which was lovely. High recommend this art hotel.

Delicious homemade breakfast included with our stay and served to our room every morning, even the day we left, the accommodated us in spite of a super early flight. The staff was so friendly and helpful, took time to show us a map of the island and help us make reservations and order car service. The town itself is very quaint and nice. Traditional Greek food for affordable prices, off the beaten path and away from hustle and bustle of Oia and Fira. Loved staying here, and would definitely recommend!

- Amanda (10/5): Modern hotel with fantastic plunge pool - We stayed here for our honeymoon, it was absolutely beautiful and so relaxing, the plunge pool (with jacuzzi) on the balcony gave fantastic views of the sunset over the Caldera. It is away from the coast but central enough to visit anywhere on the island, there are buses running through the village regularly and it is in walking distance to the Monastery. The staff were amazing, greeted from our transfer with drinks on arrival and shown to an amazing room, Absolute Suite, we were served breakfast daily on our balcony. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this hotel to anyone and look forward to returning.

A seven minute walk to the small town of Pyrgos... we had our best dinner on the island here at Katouni. We would recommend taking the bus to this restaurant regardless where your staying.
- Ella (10/5): Pyrgos Santorini hotel - Beautiful hotel and amazing staff that treated us like family. Nora took care of all our restaurant reservations as well as any activities we wanted booked. She welcomed us with a big smile and she, Emile and Marina made our stay very memorable. The rooms are very unique and most have private hot tubs or pools. Free breakfast with mimosas brought up to your room. All in all the food was great. Oh, and the A.C works really well which is nice after long hot days. We will be back!

- Kayo (8/5): Memorial Day Weekend Getaway in Santorini - Although a little far from the main city of Fira (Thira), the hospitality of the staff & chicness of the room made up for it. Before arrival the hotel contacted me on numerous occasions to prepare me for my stay & to see if they needed to arrange any transfers from the airport or ferry port which was awesome. We received a glass of wine upon arrival & they even allowed us to check-in early at no extra fee. Hotel Manager Marina (among the others) were just extremely kind & helpful in making sure we had a pleasant stay. They arranged and delivered our breakfast to us on our patio & they were always there to go above & beyond any request we had. A taxi into town was about 10-15 Euros (depending on traffic or time of day maybe) so it definitely wasn't an issue to get in & out. Our Evangeline's Room was SUPER chic & comfy..the cutest set up I've ever seen. The shower & shower head could use a little updating (there was no where to put bath products in the shower so you had to reach outside of it) but that would be my only minor complaint. Our stay was short so we didn't get a chance to really browse the facility or use the pool/ pool bar but we had a great stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel. If you don't mind being away from the main city, off the beaten path & in a more quiet area this place would be for you.

- Lisa (10/5): Great hotel in the center of everthing! - I loved my experience at this hotel! I stayed for a week in the Smart and Bold room with the plunge pool. The location of the hotel was great in my opinion! It wasn't loud nor too busy. The plunge pool was great and relaxing, be aware that you are next door to the other guests so the privacy is limited on the back deck if you reserve a room with a private plunge pool. The rooms were very clean and we found no issues! Breakfast was complimentary every morning and you had many different options to choose from. Nora and Mariana were wonderful in assisting us with tips and activities for the island! They were beyond helpful and contributed greatly to a positive stay in Santorini. One thing for viewers of this hotel to consider is that this hotel is located at the highest elevation of the island. I visited Santorini in late May and the hotel area was more windy than other areas. But it was no big deal, i was always on the go! Overall, great hotel!

- Rae (10/5): Lovely new hotel in tranquil surroundings - Well, they say first impressions count and this one certainly did! We were personally met by Nora as our transport pulled into the hotels grounds and given a very warm welcome. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The patio area, though not fully private was very comfy and spacious. All staff we met were very friendly, polite and helpful. Situated in the village of Pyrgos it was walking distance to the town square, local churches and castle and a 15 minute drive from pretty much anywhere else on the island. This made it the perfect place for us to explore, yet be quiet and tranquil too. Would definitely return.

- Monica (6/5): Meh hotel that was well advertised - I wasn't impressed by this hotel - we paid a lot for a pool in our room - the pool was cold and the pool looked run down. All of the photos online make it look very new, but it's clear that those were severely photoshopped. The hotel wasn't very close to many things to do, and we felt that the staff wasn't very friendly to us. This trip was for our engagement, and honestly, the hotel was supposed to be very romantic - it was not.

The Art Hotel is a little gem, great position within easy reach of all the island offers, we stayed in the room called Nest with a great plunge pool and private terrace, the staff are so friendly, one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in, highly recommended and will definitely be coming back

- Uzi (8/5): - This hotel is set a few minutes away from the village square in Pyrgos in a very pretty location. Everyone is friendly and approachable-when I got lost on my first night and asked for directions an elderly man gave me a lift back to my hotel, something I would never consider back home. The hotel is set in a quiet location but everywhere is easy to get to. Take flats/comfortable walking shoes-necessary wherever you go in Santorini. Beautiful views from wherever you are on island & from my room which was the Nest room. I stayed off season and went alone and it is absolutely safe. Bit spooky when walking back to hotel from square at night as it's quite dark in places and no one else was around and reception only manned from 6pm-9pm. Hotel itself is very well lit and staff contactable by phone. Overall I would recommend the hotel, it's clean, modern and the 2 members of staff that were there were happy to help with any questions. The hotel did not charge me for late booking out and served me breakfast when I had missed the allocated time (which is a wide window) by an hour. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to friends and family.

- Mike (4/5): Not worth the money - For what we paid we were disappointed at the lack of facilities and the location of the hotel. You can not eat at the hotel as no restaurant in hotel or on doorstep (breakfast is ok); You have to rely on a very poor bus service or wait (for over an hour) for one of a few island taxis to take you to where any life is. We also had to be moved room due to noisy pool pumps that kept us awake for 4 out of the 7 nights. If you have never been to Santorini, I suggest you go to Fira or Oia as these places have a choice of restaurants, bars and shops;
- Akshita (10/5): Amazing - Cannot fault this hotel at all! Newly build hotel that has its customers interest only at heart! The service was amazing and the room was as we expected; clean and spacious! The bathroom was brilliant! The location was perfect, in the nice quiet town of Pyrgos! Wouldn't recommend staying in fira or oia even though there's some nice hotels there.. The town is too noisy. From art hotel the taxi to fira is only 15 euros! Not a bad thing to say about this hotel! :)
