- Serge (6/5): e ne recommande pas pour la mesquinerie - L'hôtel est bien placé et propre Par contre le personnel parle peu l'anglais et a failli nous faire rater l'avion car oubli de paiement d'une bouteille d'eau dans le mini bar facturée à 550Kt..... à mettre en perspective avec la facture réglée de 345.000 kt et au fait que ma chambre n'ayant pas été faite tous les jours , deux bouteilles d'eau n'ont pas été changées. Mesquin!!!!
- Kazuya (8/5): 特に問題なく過ごせた - アップグレードしてくれ、割と広い部屋に案内された。ホテル自体があまり大きくなく新しくないが、特に問題なく過ごせた。朝食は種類があまり多くないが、ミャンマーの麺料理も出るので嬉しい。ダウンタウンの東の方にあって、あまり交通の便は良いと思えないが、線路沿いの安い店に行けば100円ほどで食事できる。
- Shinsaku (8/5): 観光で宿泊 - 機会があり、また泊まりました。今回もしっかりとしたスタッフが対応してくれ、この値段で朝食付きでした。ただ朝食は期待してはいけません。部屋も普通で、エアコンもしっかり効いて、Wifiも使えました。 今後も機会があれば利用したいです。
- Shinsaku (8/5): 観光で利用 - 友人と1泊しました。場所は、ダウンタウンから少し離れてますが、タクシーで15分ほどでつくので、問題ないと思います。値段の割りに、スタッフもしっかりしているし、部屋も悪くなかったです。近所には、コンビニなどはありますが、和食の店などはないため、食事をするなら、ダウンタウンの方に行かないといけません。 機会があれば、また泊まってもいいかなと思います。

- Ian (10/5): Basic, comfortable and great service - The manager and staff at this hotel are great. The man who opens the door upon entry and exit was always smiling, lovely. This hotel is not in the main drag and instead it has more of a local appeal, although it is not too far from anywhere! There is a market and handy mart virtually across the road and many cheap local restaurants. The room was basic but comfortable, definitely would go back.

- むらちょ (8/5): 庶民の生活が垣間見える一角にあるスタッフがフレンドリーなホテル。 - 数日おいて2泊しました。2泊目は、夜行バスで朝8時到着したにも関わらず、 快くアーリー・チェックインに応じて貰えました。おかげで、1～2時間程度 だが体を休めることが出来ました。スタッフの皆さんがフレンドリーで好感が持てます。 [設備] 部屋は清潔で広々としています。ベッドも広いです。風呂はシャワーのみですが、 湯加減も湯量も十分だと思います。欠点はエアコンの温度調整がうまくゆかず寒い ことと、稼働音がやや大きいことかと。あと、室内履き用にサンダルが用意されて いました。TVも装備されています。 [朝食] 朝食がサーブされる時間は7時から9時。ヌードル、炒飯、トースト、フルーツなど がありました。種類は多くありません。ヌードル美味しかったです。 [周辺] Bogyoke Aung San Rd沿いに食堂が何軒かあります。周囲にコンビニもありますが、Yay Kyaw RdにCity Martというスーパーがあるので、水などの買い物はそちらの方が 便利です。同じフロアには、薬局、パン屋、お一人様も可能なしゃぶしゃぶ屋、 和食店そしてロッテリアが入っています。周囲の治安ですが、夜一人歩き可能な エリアです。

- かり (10/5): ダウンタウン近くの身近なホテル - ホテルのロビーはこじんまりしているけれど、その分目配りが行き届いて親切に接してくれました。ロビー（受付）とは別に部屋へのＥＶがあり、最初は戸惑いもありましたが、慣れると気になりません。部屋にはバスタブがなくシャワーのみですが、バスタオル・フェイスタオル・歯磨き・シャンプー・ボディシャンプー・ヘアドライヤーも完備し、朝食も付いて快適に過ごせます。何よりスタッフが気さくで優しいです。

- Janice (8/5): Average stay - Only spent one night here but wouldn't want to spend a longer time here. The shower was good and the room spacious but a little smelly. Not much of a view from the room and could be noisy at times with the traffic. Bakery across the road was convenient and easy to walk to some places or call a taxi.

I've stayed in a few other places in Yangon at this price range, and the cleanliness and location is the best I've found (if you want to be downtown). Great service. Only real criticism is the breakfast, but it's not like it's better at other hotels at this price, and you can walk anywhere else to eat.

- see (10/5): Enjoyable stay in yangon - We arrived by night bus, and managed to check in to our room at 730am. No complaints there. Breakfast is good, plenty of choices, but dining area is small, so do get there earlier. While it is downtown yangon, it is a little further from the attractions like sule pagoda although we walked from the hotel to botataung and sule pagoda, around 20 minutes, 1km+ or it is only one cheap taxi ride away. took us awhile to choose a hotel for yangon, but it was indeed a good choice.

Room was very clean with good wifi, some film channels in English, CNN, and some Myanmar Tv in English. Hot water shower. Kettle and good air conditioning. We slept very well. Only minor criticism is the hotel is a little bit from the centre, however taxis were good value and seemed very honest and there are some tea shops like Lucky 7 and restaurants like Thai 47 nearby. We enjoyed our 4 days in Yangon very much, lots to see and do and people seem very pleased to be able to help tourists. Lots of new restaurants and cafes.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Clean room, not so good location - Room is clean and spacious, hot water shower is good, Air con is strong. Two brief power trips happened. WiFi is intermittent. Staff is helpful. No breakfast provided. Sister hotel Shwe Poe Eain charges 5000k for breakfast. Swimming pool there is free to use but there's no changing room. Location is off the main centre by 300 metres. And music and singing from a local festival can be heard in the room one whole night til dawn. Hotel is value for money for shared rooms between 2 to 4 persons.

The hotel is a little way from the main city area. What was really impressive about the hotel was its cleanliness and friendly and helpful staff.

- gillian (10/5): fantastic, clean and great located hotel - Taxi from airport struggled to find the hotel, but when we got there on the fixed price of $10, the hotel was very very clean, lifts to each floor, the staff were so friendly and spoke great english. We were only there 1 night and didnt leave until the night bus to Began so they stored our luggage without question, and arranged taxi to the bus terminal. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel, i only booked it due to the good reviews and they were all correct, its a great find.

- Robert (10/5): Good Hotel with some quirks. - All staff at hotel were excellent and helpful. Overall nice service. Cable TV with many channels, good AC. However, room walls were covered with tiles from floor to ceiling which made the rooms appear smaller and institutional. Also, internet was very slow. The breakfast was good with some local dishes.
- Steve (10/5): Excellent service in Yangon - The only thing that didn't match the Hotels.com room info was the lack of an in-room safe. This is not standard on the Superior rooms, I was told, but the management did offer to put one into my room if I felt it was needed. I didn't, but I did want to make a note of that because some travelers prefer that convenience for storage of passports and valuables.
- Sophie (10/5): Stay here if you're in Yangon - Great little hotel in wonderful Yangon and so good I went back to stay again at the end of my trip. It's not luxury but for a value option in Yangon the room is very very good. Spacious, brilliant AC, fridge, tea and coffee, free water and a shower head that works with hot water (a rarity in Myanmar budget hotels) 2 film channels and even some UK football if that's your thing. The service at this hotel is exceptional and is the best I experienced on my travels. Everyone on reception speaks English well and are very helpful, the bellboy takes your bag in the heat and the doorman are always ready to welcome you and keep an eye on the entrance which adds a level of security... Although Yangon is very safe. The manager booked my train tickets in advance and was so helpful throughout. The hotel is located a 15 minute walk through the lovely bustle of Yangon to sule pagoda and about 45-60 mins walk to Shwedagon. It's breakfast is good and there is a fabulous tea shop next door (yellow coffee signs) - not in the guide books but the most authentic one I encountered on my trip.

We walked everywhere but took a long time to get to Shwedagon and other places Not many good food places around the hotel in the evenings.
- Hiroshi (6/5): Almost every needs can be met but room was dark! - The location of the hotel was great for dining and shopping for your supplying daily beverage and something forget to bring in before Myanmar. And room was cozy and all necessary amenities like electrical pot and refregerator was well prepared and maintained even for the sensetive nation like Japanese. Therefore I believe that this hotel meet almost every tourist's need, not only for business person but also just tourists for pleasure. The only concern for the senior person during my stay was that room was too dark for the business tourist in writing & Internet related work for e-mailing etc.

Plenty of charge points for phones and cameras (a problem in some Myanmar hotels). I would certainly stay here again.

- Austin (8/5): Nice hotel, would recommend. - Warm and kind staff, these guys are available around the clock to help answer your questions. Rooms are spacious, some have kitchenettes, with complimentary waters refreshed daily. MK stands for Mya Kyauk for whenever you need to further explain directions to the taxi cab driver. Noton Google Maps yet. Breakfast daily includes traditional Burmese dishes, as well as an assortment of breads, fruits, juices, and eggs cooked to order. Street food stalls and restaurants are a plenty in Yangon and you can find them outside the hotel. A good 20 minute walk to the popular Scott Market. Tackle on another 15/20 mins and you'll find yourself in Chinatown... Food and market heaven and everything else in between. Car traffic blows so I would rather walk. Close and far from everything you want to see or do. So, it is a great location if you have no idea. Paid approximately $50/nt in January/February.
- Carole (8/5): MK hotel was nice, if only they had softer sheets! - Mk is a nice little 3star hotel, quite new. Walls were shiny white tiles and the air conditioner had bright blue lights that reflected off the walls and mirrors, making it hard to sleep. The staff was great. The shower was wonderful. It was very clean with a small fridge, the fixings for the typical Myanmar coffee and tea "mix", a vile substance of sugar, Nescafé or instant tea and "whitener". It was quiet, but the sheets were crispy (polyester???), and pillows were flat and hard. Not very comfortable to me. There was a traditional Myanmar breakfast (with some Nescafé without the mix), and a good assortment of street food outside.

Without request, the staffs brought us 2 beer glasses and help us to open the beer. After sometime, they served us with a plate of cashew nuts for FREE!!! They kept the room really clean and their staffs are superb friendly! Nearby, many famous food stalls serving great local foods!

- Alice (8/5): A Decent Mid- Priced Hotel - The MK is a decent mid-price hotel. The owner/manager, Daniel, spent 18 years in Australia and speaks excellent English. This is a big help in scheduling taxis and discussing restaurants and travel options. The Burmese staff is lovely--eager to please and very pleasant. There is a nice complimentary breakfast, though no restaurant. The location is convenient--easy walking distance to the center of town and biking distance to the countryside outside Nuang Shwe.

My room was quite large. This is a good place for people traveling with kids who want to spread out a bit. The staff his very helpful. One morning I came down too late for the breakfast buffet (which is quite good). They made all kinds of food for me anyway. It was really nice of them.

- Jennifer (8/5): Just Ok hotel with exceptional staff - Hotel staff are so welcoming and friendly. I thought the bathroom was really nice by Myanmar standards and had plenty hot water. The room itself had a strange layout and our room smelled very musky. We couldn't figure out why and we tried to open the window to air it out but no luck. Overall, the staff is what makes this place worth the stay but overall, it was just ok.
- puay yee (6/5): MK hotel at Yangon - The rain shower water temperature is good and good flow of water. Air conditioner works well. THere were HBO on the TV channels on weekdays but all Burmese channels on weekends which is strange. Wifi speed isn't that fast, difficult to transmit video, took a long time to load. The breakfast choices are limited but presentable and fresh. One of the lady receptionist was extremely helpful and bought mosquitoes coil when I suggested that would be a solution. It was a pleasant surprise when I offered to pay and she refused to accept. It was exceptional service on her part.
- KAR HONG (8/5): - staff was nice and helpful. walk 10 minutes from hotel to sule pagoda, chinatown street 9 have a lot of food and massage. breakfast was normal. airport to hotel around 9000mmk only.
- Vivien (8/5): downtown Yangon living - A friendly hotel in downtown Yangon. Staff were very helpful. Manager was great. Room was a good size with effective air con. About a ten minute walk to railway station and taxis cheaply available to venture further.

- Tim (8/5): A good hotel in downtown Yangon - The staff at the MK Hotel are super-friendly and well trained. Their English skills are generally good and I had no problem communicating.
- Tina (10/5): Exceptional service! - We got the airport pick up service with the hotel and our flight got delayed. The driver waited for us after 2 hours pass the hotel check in time and the hotel staffs waited for us with cold orange juices to check in at 2 am local time. Way pass the allow check in time. Hotel is newly built. Everything is clean and new. Everyone we have came across our stay at the hotel is exceptional. The only thing I would recommend is changing the elevator location. Free breakfast was fresh and yummy. Room service costs us a dollar each time but very useful since we have 2 young kids with us. There is plenty of room in our room for 3 adults and 2 babies. We did not feel crowded. Thank you to the hotel GM, the van driver, and everyone who service us during our stay. We will be back for a next time.
