Guest Reviews
- azhar (8/5): - Good place to stay
- Shailend (8/5): - Clean, well presented rooms. Unfortunately my queen bed was actually 2 single beds pushed together. Not a problem, but a little surprising.
Loved the rice fields view. I could hear a nearby nightclubs music, but fortunately was able to sleep. Staff were friendly and courteous.
- Julie (6/5): - I liked that it was very accessible to a lot of amenities. Most staff were helpful. Limitation with language hampers communication. I would not rate the customer service of reception staff the best except for Ella and the Pregnant lady. They do not know what true Customer service is. I’ll just leave it at that.
- Damien (10/5): - Fantastic value priced hotel for the quality in Seminyak. A bunch of great restaurants & services nearby.
- Cameron (10/5): - Great location, excellent views.
- Dean (8/5): Attractive Boutique Hotel - The location of the Boutique hotel is very pleasant . The room are not so big but we enjoyed it with One adult and two small kids. The facilities are good. The design is very attractive . The staff is good and welcoming.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Terribly noisy hotel. - I had the most uncomfortable stay. The mattress is hard as a rock and the restaurant next door is very noisy every night till 3am morning. In fact the hotel gave out notice about the noise we have to put up with. The breakfast is basic and the food selection is quite limited. The taste is not good either.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - This property needs a major renovation. The staff is great, but this hotel is dated and dirty.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Pros: Nice location, nice pool and decor
Cons: Poor sound isolation - heavy footsteps thumping in the morning, smoke smell from neighbors cigarettes travels through walls easily, lots of Chinese tour busses coming and going constantly, breakfast is not very good
- Verified traveler (4/5): - 1. Dirty floor
2. Grand deluxe room facing pool was very noisy. Bad quality sound proofing
3. Bed sheets dirty with stains
4. Towel was dirty with stains
- Dean (8/5): Oz blog - Good value for money
- peter (10/5): Above our expectations - Fantastic , excellent value for money
- Ieva (8/5): Good value for price, comfy king bed, good location - Such a good value for price. Staff was very friendly and attentive, nothing was a problem for them, room was pretty nice and clean with a very comfortable kind bed. Location is really good, right in the Seminyak centre, next to the famous restaurants such as Metis, Sardine and Da Maria. Breakfast was ok. Would stay here again.
- monika (6/5): - I would not recommend this particular swiss bell hotel. All the other ones in bali are better. I booked a suite and it was dark with no view. They ran out of milk for your coffee at breakfast. Terrible pool
- Eddy (8/5): its location is good for traffic - the hotel is clean and artistic, lots of restaurants closed hotel.
the room are quite spacious and clean with pretty good fixtures.
near the legian area, seminyak and Canggu (the developing area) and close to the sunset road.
btw nice hotel
- karen (2/5): Not recommended - Small.no cupboards or drawers for clothing.cold breakfast which mainly catered to asian tourists.dangerous pool area right near the lobby area.overall dissapointing .never stay there again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Stayed for week- great place, staff are lovely and very accommodating
- Ahmed (10/5): Excellent hotel location with excellent hotel crew - The hotel in heart of seminyak which offers renting motor bikes with good prices
The crew are really nice
The are all there for serving the guests with warm smile
- melissa (8/5): Modern hotel in busy area, surrounded by rice padd - Great value for money in a hip area. Pool situation not great, but free shuttle to beach in the morning was good. Pretty good bfast buffet. Room was v clean with great AC. Lots of food options in the area. I was traveling with a small child and pool was the biggest drawback. I would recco this as the price is great tho!
- Ramond (8/5): Hideaway with a great price tag and location! - My room had ants in it! However other than that, was so amazing :) Loved it very much and the service was great!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Quieter end of the accomodation areas - Taxi required for beach and shopping in Kuta, quiet with some new restaurants starting up.
- Kathy (6/5): - Very small area around pool. Gets extremely slippery near bar area.
Don't order coffee, it is disgusting. Breakfast menu selection is average and service generally slow.
Overall, staff were friendly but at times hard to communicate due to language barrier.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Second visit and will return again! - Having stayed previously for a few nights at the end of Dec 2015, I returned for a 9 night stay in Jan 2017. Both times I opted for a paddy view room, which I love. Unfortch this time around the local villagers were at the end of their harvest and burning the fields so instead of lush greenery the view was a charred brown field. Completely out of control of the hotel's power and they sent apologist letters to all guests, which was a very thoughtful touch. For me the staff make this hotel, from pickup at the airport to my final departure they greeted me by name each time coming and going out of the hotel. Always met with smiles and offers to help with anything. As for the property itself, it is a no frills kind of place. Probably not appropriate for families nor anyone wanting to laze by the pool. esp as the pool is a small feature in the courtyard of the hotel. You don't come here for the pool. This is more of a "business" hotel feel with efficiently designed rooms. Not without imperfections, like the ever popular 'open shower design' that always floods any bathroom and the toilet behind the door, and the small closet at the front of the room near the door, it is still great value for money for the budget minded traveler who doesn't plan to spend a lot of time hanging around the hotel. One tip - skip the breakfast (it's not good) and avail yourself of any of the amazing cafe and food options in the vicinity! Try Pison, Nook, or Livingston for breakfast. :)
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great price, newer hotel in Seminyak - Price was excellent especially when comparing home prices, and prices also in this central area in Bali. Cab to shops (very close), go to Oberoi, take your board and head to the beach in your cab/bus/ Staff are helpful and this is a great place for stress relief. Has a gym, massage spa and nice pool. Overall- will go again. We received a wonderful welcome as it was our 2nd stay in a month.
- Tania (8/5): Value for money - Great value for money hotel. Pool area is very small and sun lounges mouldy, but otherwise for price, it is good value. You are at the far end of Seminyak so you need to use shuttle or taxi's to experience shopping etc.
- Tara (10/5): Perfect! - Great hotel, in a great location with great staff. Thank you for letting us use the pool really late at night even though you would normally close and for meeting every request we made! We had a fantastic stay :)
- nicola (8/5): One of the best hotels in this area - This was my second stay with this hotel. Prices are very reasonable and the hotel is clean and well-maintained.
Bar service is a little slow at off-peak times, but hey, you're on holiday, so relax!
Pool area is a bit cramped and cushions on sunbeds could do with a clean.
- cookie (10/5): Everything is fantastic just go see for yourself - Rooms , service, restaurant, pool, spa its all there tried it all just fantastic
- Danny (10/5): Nice new hotel with great rates and great location - Great location (lots of cafes, easy access), nice and polite staff, breakfast is awesome, and rooms are very clean. Totally recommend this hotel.
- JC (8/5): Lovely hotel, great location - Ask for a room overlooking the rice fields! Great, comfortable stay. Good location close to cafes, shops etc. would definitely stay again.
- ScottC (10/5): Nice hotel. Excellent Value. Foodie area. - It's a very good hotel for the price.
It's not without flaws but considering the budget price, it an amazing hotel.
Great price.
Modern.
Clean.
Friendly.
Good food.
Good breakfast.
Lots of restaurants in the area.
Shuttle bus.
Nice balcony overlooking rice paddies.
Huge queen Beda that are very comfortable.
Minor issues.
No hand towels.
100? Rooms, only 5 sunbeds by the small pool. 2 Chinese families of about 12 people was enough to take over the area.
The shower drains smell a little when first run.
Take away the small gripes and I have to say it's a great hotel for the price.
- petrice (8/5): Close to great restaurants - Good clean new hotel. Great value. Walk to amazing restaurants. Free shuttle to Seminyak square, potato head beach club.
- Patricia (6/5): Staff were rude - Check-in was annoying, male staff were rude & seems uninterested to the whole process.
We checked-in aroun 9pm, they put us next to the utility closet where the HK people come & went since 6am. Alas we only had 3 hours of sleep the first night there. We left on the 3rd day because there's really nothing fun around Petitenget area, the hotel itself is noisy & would like some good sleep in a better hotel room.
- Gaby (8/5): Good for a short stay - This is not close to the airport but is in a cool comercial area, with great restaurants around (metis and sardine) and a good spa across the street. The room was very nice and clean. Good breakfast and the staff very kind.
- Anthony (6/5): Underwhelming but okay - Very compact room but with the essentials provided. Very poor ability to enjoy the swimming pool as only 6 pool lounges were provided and there's something like 100 rooms. Rice paddy view rooms have better outlook and are recommended. Staff seem pretty friendly but service was patchy e.g. Had to wait about 20 minutes to have 2 cocktails made - had to use the bar's phone to call reception and then they had to locate someone to man the bar. Overall, okay for a 2-3 day stay or if you were doing business nearby. Unlikely to stay again.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Stay else unless deaf - building works next door - Incredibly noisy.
Ants crawling all over kettle and room which housekeeping ignored.
- mickael (2/5): a nightmare - the hotel is in construction for a year. i was wake up by noise and have to leave my room because i can not handle it...a nightmare
- Beng (6/5): Worth to try - Nice place to stay.
Staff really friendly and helpful.
Not really near the places I want to go, but other people may have different idea.
So, worth to try.
- Christopher (10/5): Perfect for business - Very modern and clean hotel. Lovely rooms with wet room style bathroom with large overhead shower. Fantastic queen sized bed with lovely big fluffy pillows. Rooms cleaned every day. I chose the hotel because of the wifi reviews, super quick and reliable. Highly recommended.
- liam (6/5): Pleasantly surprised - With this hotel being so cheap I wasn't expecting much to be honest, but turned out to be pleasantly surprised, nice pool area (although small, only 6 chairs) and nice comfy clean rooms centrally located close to restaurants etc
- Len (10/5): Peaceful stay in Seminyak - Swiss Belhotel Petitenget is very well priced considering what you get for your money. I booked a deluxe twin room and it was perfect for what I needed as a solo traveller. Room was clean and spacious. House keeping was incredibly efficient and friendly. The rest of the staff was willing to help whenever required. Location was great. The hotel is surrounded by many well rated restaurants. It's only a short taxi ride away from all the action in the busier parts of Seminyak but far enough that you could enjoy a peaceful night in one of the nearby restaurants and bars. Great stay overall. Highly recommended.
- Yuni (8/5): Recommendable: great location and good shower - The hotel is pretty new so everything is clean. I loved the water pressure in shower and strong air conditioning system. And nearby the hotel, there are a lot of great restaurants. La baracha, the italian restaurant, just across the road is really good. You must try their pizza and pasta.
The hotel offers 24 hours room service but I woudn't recommend it as it is quite expensive and takes too long time. And although I asked them to take the dish away, they didn't do it until the next morning. So I had to see flies were having feast over it.
But overall this hotel offers good deal for people who want clean budget accommodations. I am willing to stay here again but won't order any food from their restaurant.
- Thomas (10/5): Relaxing, modern and near restaurants. Stay here. - From start to finish, my stay was fantastic here. It's a new hotel, so everything was obviously in top shape. I was pleasantly surprised to know I was upgraded to the garden view instead of city. (maybe it helped that I arrived on my birthday!) Those rice paddies are definitely worth paying a little early to see every morning. I really enjoyed the comfort of my bed. The bathrooms are a good size, and modern. Although, the lack of hot water was kind of annoying. (I know its hot, but I still enjoy warm showers). The location was nice because you could walk to many restaurants within 1 block. My favorite was Barbacoa, which was right next door. They served delicious Spanish style food in a large and lively atmosphere. There was also a cafe across the street called ThreesCafe (?), they had good wifi and decent food. The pool was nice and clean, although limited to 6 seats. The breakfast food was ok. Every room in the hotel smelled nice from the Calmic air fresheners placed in the bathrooms and elevators. I liked their lobby area too. It's definitely not within walking distance to Potato Head or W Hotel, so hire a cab. Unfortunately, you always have to haggle the price.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Fantastic value for money. Exceeded all expectations.
- Michelle (10/5): Clean nice spacious affordable, great location! - I booked this room a second time because it was hugely affordable, clean and spacious and also in a great neighbourhood within walking distance of beach, food, coffee and shopping etc. My partner was stuck in Bali for a few extra days due to a volcano eruption so I had her stay here extended.
- Melissa (10/5): Great in every way - Always good and I will continue to book this hotel.
- Jona (10/5): 100% recommend this hotel! - This was a great affordable room in a great hotel in a good central area of Seminyak. My only complaints would be the views weren't very nice (vacant blocks) and there was a bit of a strange smell which came from the bathroom occasionally (I think its just the Bali water). However i wouldn't let this things deter you. The hotel staff was very friendly and extremely helpful when it came to booking us transport, massages, scooter hire etc. The internet was fast, the room was clean, spacious & modern and was walking distance to the beach and great food and cafes. 100% recommend.
- Sheyuk (8/5): Great for short stays - This is a good hotel for short term. It's new but not very central. There are 2 very good restaurants nearby, sardines and métis but not exactly cheap.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great value in Seminyak - I was very happy with my stay here. The price was great for what you get. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. The staff is very kind and helpful. They had convenient scooter rentals in the garage of the hotel as well as a lovely pool that wasn't crowded for the duration of my stay. I liked the area it was located in because it wasn't too hectic of a spot, but there were a lot of things to walk to (food, coffee) really quickly. The beach was about a 20 minute walk down the road if you didn't want to rent a scooter. I would stay here again.
- Kaveh (10/5): One of the best - Hotel is in the heart of action area near restaurants and bars , stuff are kind and make your needs available in the best way. I enjoyed my time. Will be back in January next year.
- mossa (10/5): Very modern and close to everything - Would definitely use again at any of their hotels . Only negative if at all was breakfast would have been better with a few more western brekky Options, but the food on offer was very nice , and staff very friendly and accomodating .
