Blanche (9/5): Superbe séjour. - Le Amara est un superbe hôtel moderne mais très charmant. La chambre était spacieuse et super confortable. La localisation est idéale dans un quartier assez calme mais proche de tout. Le petit-déjeuner est exceptionnel. L’accueil y est très bon. Le restaurant sur le rooftop est délicieux surtout avec une telle vue L’espace piscine est très restreint et il est compliqué d’avoir un transat pour s’y poser.

Alison (10/5): - Great location, lovely clean and well decorated room with ceiling to floor windows overlooking Bangkok. Beds were super comfy and bedding was luxurious. The pool area was great with an infinity pool overlooking the city. Breakfast was wonderful with freshly cooked options. I stayed seven nights and by the third night they already came prepared to our table with soya milk. Lots of choices including fresh fruits and juices, something for everyone and all of a high standard. Prices at the pool bar, even for non alcoholic drinks, were very high. We had a couple of mocktails the first night then went elsewhere.

Zur nächsten MRT-Station (Sam Yang) oder BTS (Sala Daeng) brauchen Sie allerdings ca. 20min. oder nehmen gleich ein Taxi. Bedingt freundlicher oder guter Portier-/Hotelservice, was eigentlich sehr thai-untypisch ist. Mittelmäßig, überschaubares, chaotisches Frühstücksangebot ohne 5-Sterne-Niveau. (Bei der üppigen Brötchen- und Gebäckauswahl, die Sie auf manchen Frühstücksfotos in einer Vitrine sehen, handelt es sich tatsächlich Attrappen! *lol) Angebotenes Thai Food ist neben den amerikanischen, englischen, kontinentalen Komponenten auch schwach,- sowohl qualitativ als auch quantitativ. Das Mobiliar im Zimmer ist abgenutzt und der Feuchtraum teilweise ungepflegt, die Zimmerreinigung erfolgt dürftig, der Poollbereich ist im Verhältnis zur Hotelgröße zu klein. Die Preise im Hotel bewegen sich definitiv in allen Bereichen auf 5-Sterne-Niveau, ohne dieses Niveau nur ansatzweise widerzuspiegeln. Selbst die Dienstbekleidung des Personals unterstreicht leider dieses Bild. Fazit: Kein Vergleich zu 5-Sterne-Hotels, wie beispielsweise Conrad, Lancaster, Eastin, Sharaton, usw…
Ruben (8/5): - Friendly and professional staff: From the Lobby to the Cleaning Staff, everyone is very friendly. Breakfast was superb as well. Pool area can become crowded at specific times of the day. Its too compact and tiny for that many people. There are signs of usage in the room and building.

Lovely restaurant with nice breakfast and the most amazing pool and terrace on the top of the hotel. I was so amazing and the view was so good. Sweet and friendly staff. Pete (6/5): Good.....but 2 safety issues - We stayed at the Amara last year before returning in May 26. As before, the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very good and comfortable with great views. However, this time I need to raise a couple of issues. The bathroom floors, particularly the shower area, are absolutely lethally slippery. There is no anti-slip tiles or matts. Very dangerous and even worse when soap lands on the floor. The other issue I have is that 1 of the 2 stepladders into the pool had a damaged bottom rung making it harder to get out of the pool. I hurt my leg on it before having to exit the pool using the other ladder. I'm disappointed that there were serious safety issues like bathroom floors and pool ladders. In May 25 when we stayed at Amara I did not have these issues. Apart from these issues, everything else iwas good. Bathroom floors are absolutely lethal. 1 pool ladder has a damaged bottom rung - dangerous.

Il manque un rideau dans la chambre ce qui donne de la lumière quand le soleil ce lève c’est gênant impossibles de se rendormir . 7 transat pour 25 personne à la piscine ça fait peut il faudrai faire une deuxième ranger et enlever les table qu’il y’a .!

I found this hotel by mistake while searching for a place to stay in the vibrant Silom area, but it turned out to be one of the best mistakes I’ve made in Bangkok. From the very first moment, Aey at the reception made the stay feel special. She was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and welcoming, and honestly gave the entire experience the perfect beginning. A huge thank you as well to everyone at the reception desk and especially to the desk manager (unfortunately I can’t remember his name), but he was absolutely amazing and incredibly thoughtful throughout my stay. The hotel itself is exceptional. Everything feels polished and well cared for, from the service to the cleaning staff, everyone was genuinely amazing. The rooftop is absolutely stunning, with views and atmosphere that easily became one of the highlights of my trip. If I had to mention one small negative, it would be that the rooftop bar food and drinks are quite pricey compared to normal Thai prices. But even with that, this has officially become my go-to hotel whenever I’m in Bangkok. It really has it all.💙 And the bed… wow. I had one of the best nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time. Did I mention the breakfast? Because the breakfast was amazing too. Also, a special shoutout to Mick from the rooftop bar, who was absolutely wonderful and made the evenings there even more enjoyable. Yes, I know I used the word “amazing” a lot here…. but honestly, what can I say? I truly loved this place. Highly recommended!!! The bar was very pricey but that’s just about it.

Martin (10/5): Unterkunft top 🔝, Preisgestaltung getränke wahnsinn 🤯 - Top Lage Ausblick grenzgenial Zimmer wunderschön sauber und das Frühstücksbüffet war auch der Hammer Am Pool waren genau fünf liegen , eher zu wenig Preise an der Bar eine Frechheit Chang Bier preis 300 Baht 2 Minuten neben im seven Eleven preis bei 35 Baht , mitnehmen darf man keine Getränke . Nicht mal von der Lobby Preis dort 120 Baht

Ján (7/5): - Veľmi pekný moderný hotel. Príjemný personál. Poloha nie je dobrá. Pokiaľ idete spoznávať Bangkok ako turista, budete mať všetko podstatné ďaleko. Raňajky boli slabšie na to, o aký hotel sa jedná. Bazén na streche je síce pekný(a to bol aj dôvod prečo sme si hotel vybrali), ale lehátka sú nepoužiteľné. Je ich tam málo a sú v takom zlom stave, že Vás tlačí do chrbta ich konštrukcia.

949jenniferv (10/5): Perfect base passing through Bangkok - We stayed for three nights, me and my teen. Our Club room had an amazing view and was very comfortable. Lounge with happy hour was well worth the small premium to get some down time between day and evening and some snacks and drinks before heading out. Main sights accessible via foot, public transport or bolt - we utilised them all! Breakfast was great, we were in early so all was fresh and we were straight in. Staff friendly and helpful and the Starbucks in the lobby helped with the jet lag! Would 100% return.

Niles (6/5): Would have been so much nicer if they stop smoking. It's really a good 4 star not 5 - I liked the rooms. The views. The breakfast was cold and not that good. I only had 3 out of 10. The big problem for me was I was staying for 10 days. It was really looking forward to time at the pool deck which is amazing. Sadly it's the designated smoking area for the building. It's a 5 star hotel in 2026 and they show no consideration for those of us that don't smoke. The foul smell all day was discusting. I wouldn't book here unless you smoke. There were children playing in that. It's a small area so no escaping it. Please stop this. I was overall disappointed int his hotel because of this. The smoking area is a communal area very unhealthy

Katesi77 (10/5): Work shop blooming cake - I recently attended the Blooming Cake event and workshop held at the Amara Hotel. It was such a delightful experience. The hotel often hosts events and masterclasses like this, and everything was organized at the highest level. I truly enjoyed my time there. The food was delicious, the drinks were great, and every detail was thoughtfully prepared. The atmosphere was warm, beautiful, and very inspiring. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who has the chance to attend.

OnsiriN (8/5): Good service hotel - Good location, very good service. Everyone at the hotel were helpful and friendly. From reception, luggages department, club lounge, restaurant both for dinner and breakfast, all at pool bar. Especially Mr. Hack . Thank you again for excellent service. Hotel itself is fine. At club lounge has cookies, drinks provide. For evening time has unlimited drinks, cocktails, wine, beers. And small food section that I don't think it's small! Salad, sandwich, fried noodles, soup, fried chicken and much more. Really good cake and Thai dessert too. So that's quite enough if you don't want to eat too much. Restaurant downstairs also really good. We had really delicious pizza and nice drink. Swimming pool has amazing view but I think a bit too small space because its also pool bar there so not so any empty seats when we arrive in afternoon so we went to swim in evening instead , much more relaxed.Pool bar also has nice drink. Breakfast also fine. Many choices. The room also good, comfortable and quiet, we had nice stay here.

Jill (6/5): Ausbaufähig - Ausstattung im Zimmer gut. Die Clublounge ist eine gute Sache. Das Fitnessstudio ist im Verhältnis gut ausgestattet. Der Ausblick ist schön, vor allen Dingen von der Rooftopbar Roomservice sehr langsam. Stellt man ein, dass der Roomservice kommen kann, kann es sich noch um Stunden handeln bis dieser kommt. Waage in Zimmer kaputt. Schalter in Zimmer im Bad kaputt, vermutlich für Jalousie. Der Kopf der Regendusche war so zugesetzt, dass weniger nach unten, als in alle anderen Richtungen geregnet hat. Die Schalter zum Rufen der Aufzüge waren auf einigen Etagen defekt. Der Pool war für die Hotelgrösse viel zu klein. Man bekam kaum-gar nicht liegen. Die Personaldicke wirkte für die Menge an Gästen zu gering. Hier hatte ich andere Erwartungen bei 5 Sternen. Die Preise in der Bar fanden wir schon recht happig. Das eine Kaution einbehalten wir bei Ankunft, fanden wir unüblich. Dass die Belastung auf der Kreditkarte dann auch erst 3-4 Wochen nach Abreise freigegeben wird finden wir etwas lang. Sowas muss schneller gehen.
