- Christopher (8/5): Great place to sleep and get ready for the price - I wanted to stay somewhere that is central to the area that I was going to be and Micro Hotel Rio De Piedras was perfect for that. About a 10min drive to the Museum, Baleadas Express, and there is other food that is in walking distance. Water pressure was great and hot water was plentiful. Very Very basic accommodations (bed, desk, chair) and the shower towels were a little small (I'm a big guy). The bed was comfortable, pillows could have been larger but I slept fine for the 2 nights that I stayed. There is a fridge in the lobby which you can purchase some refreshments from.
- Marco (8/5): Good micro hotel - Very well located
- Ronald (10/5): - Great staff, particularly Kevin who was very helpful suggesting things to do, giving directions, getting taxis, etc.
- STEPHEN (8/5): - A quick overnight whilst in Transit. A great find with a hugely helpful manager. I Really can not thank these guys enough for looking after us way above any normal service expected.
Th room was right at the top and looks brand new, the A/C was icy, the bed comfy and the shower hot.The wifi worked well.
Breakfast was fresh cooked local food. The hotel is about 25 mins from the airport , they will arrange a taxi for you or 5 mins from the bus station. The place is safe and secure. We would stay here again.
- Steven (10/5): Nice Spot! - What a gem! A very pleasant stay. The facility is well maintained and extremely clean. Close to many restaurants and shopping. The staff is also attentive and helpful in many ways. Will definitely be back! Thank you!
- sammy (10/5): Happy - Wasnt sure what to expect but this turned out to be a great place to stay
- patrick (10/5): Great value and location - close to restaurants and the malls
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice and quiet - The hotel is simple and its very clean and nice to spend the nigth very nice staff and ill make sure and come back soon 👌👏
- Donald (8/5): Cheap stay, great staff. - Really reasonable rates, clean room, bed was a little stiff. A/C and cable TV. Shower was either super hot or cold. Was on ground floor, so view was obstructed by adjacent buildings that were a little warn down. Staff was SUPER helpful, secured 24 hours. Area isn't much but plenty of restaurants, some local and many American ones.
- Jacq (8/5): Safe area - Safe & quiet area of the city. Staff very friendly. Good place for a stopover when travelling through San Pedro Sula. Complimentary breakfast was provided which was greatly appreciated.
- Michael (10/5): Probably the best hotel in or near San Pedro Sula - Wonderful, courteous, caring staff. Manager is outstanding and helpful. Probably the best hotel in or near San Pedro Sula. Very safe area. Walking distance to many restaurants and a shopping center.
- robert (8/5): Friendly good value hotel. - Just a layover on our way to the bay islands a pleasant surprise with owners being very helpful on locating eating establishments and local interest points within walking distance of hotel.Helpful in arranging taxi from airport and bus terminal.
- Sylvia (10/5): Location was Perfect - The location was perfect and felt very safe. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping. Rooms were small, clean and had cold AC. Wifi always worked. Great view of the Coca Cola sign on the mountain.
- Heather (2/5): Terrible - I didn't actually get to stay here. I had booked a room for two separate nights, and was sent a guaranteed reservation for the bookings. When I arrived, they told me I did not have a room and they had cancelled both bookings without telling me, as they had tried to charge my card, it apparently didn't work, so they just cancelled the booking a few days before. When I arrived in San Pedro and spoke to them, they offered no apology and had filled all of their rooms so I had to find somewhere else to stay. They told me that because I had an international number (from the UK) they couldn't be bothered to call me to tell me, even though they also had my email address. They were also very rude and unhelpful, particularly after arriving from a long journey in a new city. Warning to any who book a room here - confirm your reservation with the hotel directly a couple of days before you visit to check they haven't cancelled it!
- Hamid (8/5): - Everything was very good, It is a very reasonable price for what one gets.
- ieva (10/5): Small nice hotel in san pedro sula - Safe area, very nice staff and rooms. Staff is extremelly helpful.
- Mark (8/5): Close to a few spots. - I stayed one night, the room was nice, but not great, only good for sleeping.
- Gene (8/5): Nice hotel with nearby amenities - Very clean hotel nice bright rooms, near shopping and restaurants .
- Nate (8/5): Nice place to stay for a great price. - When we checked in the front desk host was very nice and spoke both Spanish and English. She made a call to a taxi driver we had previously used on our behalf and set up a ride to the airport the next day. The room was spacious and comfortable. The fit and finish in the rooms trim work was a bit lacking, but overall they have done a nice job with remodeling the rooms. The A/C and TV worked great and the shower was nice and hot. The beds were also comfortable. In the morning we went down for breakfast, which was a breakfast taco that consisted of a tortilla with beans and cheese inside and a glass of a Sunny Delight type drink. It was quite tasty, but could have been larger. The gentleman at the front desk in the morning made sure we had arrangements for a ride to the airport and was very friendly.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location. Great price. Excellent staff. Very safe. I would recommend to any body goes to San Pedro Sula.
- Maria (8/5): Great Service , Great Price - Helpful staff, nice place, secure, the breakfast was fine, a cozy little Hotel.
- Verified traveler (8/5): No complaints on this place! - Pretty basic hotel but helpful staff in a good area!
- Panama Barry (10/5): great place to stay - Great place tp stay! Should be even better once the remodeling is completed.
- Kirk (8/5): Perfect for the traveller passing through SPS - I spent two nights at Micro Hotel de Peidras at the beginning and end of my trip in Honduras as the SPS airport is a common exit / entrance port.
Pedro was an amazing asset to this place. He assisted me with everything from hotel pick up and drop off, arranging tours and suggesting places to eat while in town.
The rooms themselves are basic but they have everything in need in a short term stay. The beds are descent, the roms have AC, the showers are hot and they offer free wifi.
- Linda (10/5): - It was great. The staff as always offered excellent customer service
- Linda (8/5): - The hotel was under construction, but the manager and the workers were extremly nice. The hotels overthere are far from the Airport. I am planning to go back so I think I will stay there again.
- Gregg (10/5): Nice Hotel in San Pedro! - Clean Rooms! Good Breakfast!
Walking distance to many restaurants!
Safe and Secure!
