• Adam Galal (3/5): - Very kind staff. Simple breakfast. Not clean, no heat if you are not staying in the room. The rooms are not isolated, you can wake up becaue someone showering next door or somone speaking outside. The cleaning staff making a lot of noise. Things are broken in every room I moved to during my stay. tiny bathroom. no heat in the bathroom. living in a floor other than the first floor, you have to wait a long time for hot water come. A smell of smoking everywhere. When the co-owner of the hotel smoke cigarette on the door steps in the first floor, you can smell it in the fifth floor because he is not smoking with door closed and the stairs are so wide so thee is much air flow.
• Mohammed Abdul (10/5): Excellent Service and Location. - I liked that everything was confirmed via messaging within the booking.com App. Checkin and checkout was quick and easy. Hotel location was very easy to find and 2 minute walk to both Fatih and Shezad Camii and around 15-20 minutes walk to Blue Mosque. Bus and Metro stops very easy to locate by the hotel, as the hotel is just behind the main road it’s nice and quite an yet very easy to go get food and drinks nearly as plenty of choice. Double room was very good, clean and tidy and over our stay was cleaned multiples times. Turkish breakfast daily was good and plenty of tea available within the lobby all day. Ali was a very good host and very helpful throughout 5*

• hanadi (5/5): - طاقم رائع و المكان هادي و قريب عين اكتر الاماكن أود أن أشارك تجربتي خلال إقامتي في الفندق لمدة ليلتين، والتي للأسف لم تكن على مستوى التوقعات. من أبرز السلبيات التي واجهتها أن الغرفة لم يتم تنظيفها طوال مدة الإقامة، وذلك بسبب نسيان الطاقم، وهو أمر غير مقبول في فندق بهذا المستوى. كما أن من غير المنطقي أن يتم توفير زجاجة ماء واحدة فقط في اليوم، في حين أن الغرفة مخصصة لشخصين بالغين. هذا التقييد غير مريح ويؤثر سلبًا على راحة الضيوف. آمل أن يتم أخذ هذه الملاحظات بعين الاعتبار لتحسين جودة الخدمة مستقبلًا.
• Julia (7/5): Good - The location is perfect to get to the markets. All 20-30 minute walks. The main staff at the desk are attentive, polite, and helpful as much as they can. The breakfast is continental/bland and limited options. It was the same food served every day. The only hot option was the soup. The pictures online and on this website are very misleading, as the breakfast did not serve most of what is shown. Despite the friendly staff, the langu barrier was challenging, and most of the time, we used translation on our phones. Luckily, my mum understands basic French so could speak to the female staff member who said she was from Algeria. We changed rooms twice due to broken air-conditioning or just poor ventilation. We had to request more towels, and the housekeeping was poor. However, after finding out how much the maid was paid and having to clean all the rooms herself, we didn't bother to complain.

• Renate (9/5): Superb - Most beautiful place to stay in the heart of Fatih within walking distance from Fatih Masjid. Staying in a spacious room with great view over Yesilpark and beyond. Hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. And the roof top terrace is an amazing extra!

• Natheer (1/5): Do not check on Yesil park hotel in Fatih area. I regret using booking. Com to book this poor hotel. - I stayed 3 nights and checked out because of the very poor condition of the hotel. They took the money of 6 nights and they did not return our money for the remaining 3 nights. They are literally the Ives and dishonest. Hotel I did not like everything in this hotel. You can not call this mansion as hotel. They took 1045 US$ FOR 6 NIGHTS. The smell of the place is repelling. The furniture are of very poor quality. The cleanliness is very poor and dirty. The staff are very greedy and means.

• Rowena (2/5): - DO NOT STAY HERE unless you have money to lose. I booked and paid a month in advance. On arrival at midnight, I was told to pay more money. I disputed this as all fees had been paid. The hotel staff were shouting at me, giving reasons for payment that included: change of exchange rate (invalid because I paid in USD a month ago when the rate was stronger), error by Expedia, and other nonsensical reasons. After 30mins of arguing I was given a key but told in the morning I would have to move rooms. In the morning, the manager refused to engage in conversation other than to say "more money, get out". There were several other foreign guests at reception and all were being shouted at for more money. Expedia confirmed I should not pay any more but when the hotel said that we could no longer stay here, Expedia told us to call the police. The police didn't speak English and were not interested. The staff started shouting at a guest with a child for more money. It was horrible. We were now wasting so much time or our holiday that we had to leave and find a new hotel over Xmas New year at late notice. Expedia were NO HELP whatsoever and to this date don't even acknowledge what we we through.
• Edward (2/5): - Awful. Stay away! This is a bait-and-switch scam! We arrived and staff told us that we had to pay double what we had already paid on Expedia. There were three other families in the same situation where the hotel refused to honor Expedia bookings and wanted to charge double. Room was filthy - my bare feet were black with dirt after using the shower (which was also filthy). We stayed one night then went to the Marriott. Hotel refused to refund the rest of the nights. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
• Verified traveler (8/5): Great budget hotel in friendly Fatih - We are very satisfied with our stay at Yesilpark. This budget hotel was very clean and the room was comfortable. The staff is polite and always willing to help. We especially liked the free buffet breakfast, which, although quite simple, genuinely samples a traditional Turkish breakfast. From the rooftop terrace (7th floor), you get an amazing view of Istanbul from sunrise to sunset. It's a pity the rooftop looked abandoned when we were there. We also liked the hotel's location in Fatih, a lively local neighborhood slightly away from the touristic maze, while still close enough to the major sightseeing places. Notes: (1) The basic room is very tight for 2 persons. So it is best to book a bigger room, especially if you have a lot of luggage. (2) There is no safe inside the room. Thank you, hotel Yesilpark, for making our stay in Istanbul a memorable one !
