- Andrew (10/5): Classy modern hotel in central location - The location is superb. Right next to where all the hop on hop off buses start. The room was kept spotless with daily cleaning. It was a good size with a huge comfortable bed and excellent bathroom and shower. Breakfast was comprehensive with both hot and cold options. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful. There is a wide boulevard next to the hotel which leads to the coast and river - all walkable. Lots of top designer shops are on this boulevard. Overall this is a classy modern hotel in a central location.
- Lynda (8/5): Great hotel in good location - We had a beautiful spacious room. The rooftop bar and pool were lovely. Breakfast was also very good. The hotel was ideally located for exploring Lisbon. The only downside was a bit of noise in our room as we were directly under the rooftop pool and bar. We were told this when we checked in but only that we would be able to hear the water very slightly but this went off at 8pm. It was a bit more than slightly, especially when the fountain was on but this was no problem during the day. We had very strong winds one night and could hear water all night. Also, the speaker for the music was above our room and this sent on till 1am. This was very faint though but audible. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay

- Debra (10/5): Great stay! - HF Fénix Music is a great hotel. It is a quick 30 minute walk downhill via the Avenue de liberdade to all the tourist locations. It is in a convenient location for uber/bolt access and very close to a metro station if you prefer. Front staff is great. Diogo sorted out a problem with our prebooked tuk tuk which had been cancelled and arranged for another within an hour. There is a great rooftop bar and pool with a scenic view of Lisbon. Rooms were clean and comfortable with a King bed which is difficult to find in Europe. They have a breakfast for a fee. We did not use but prefered the close by McDonald’s and an Espressolab around the corner which we discovered on our second to last day.

The hotel is located in a prime location a 30 minute walk from the sights of Lisbon bus stops and metro close my if needed. The downsides for me as a few have stated not enough seating around the pool area but not much the hotel can do with limited space, The cooked breakfast options were timid warm to cold.

Overall an excellent stay - - a bit of a walk to most attractions - - downhill in the morning but uphill in the evening was a bit demanding especially on hot days. Silver lining was that UBER was very reasonable in Lisbon.

It was located at the top of the city however it was a nice walk in and Ubers are cheap. The pool was great, aircon and safe in the room made it easier. We had room service one night and it was great portion sizes and quality. Overall very happy with our stay. Lisbon was such fun to visit and the hotel had a large part in this.

Received different info on pool times, bar times, etc. No welcome blurb included breakfast info, room.protocol. etc. Will not recommend, a real disappointment after our stay in Porto. There was a lovely bartender and young man at checkout.

- Paul (4/5): - The staff were not in any way service orientated. Asking questions about the hotel facilities was like extracting teeth. At 6pm we had to ask why our room had not been made up! Turns out none of our floor had been serviced. The TV began throwing up error messages about not being connected to a network. I rang reception and a maintenance man arrived in minutes, but he could only speak portuguese and was unable to help. So no TV and no further word of explanation or apology from reception. Upon check-out I was ready for the question of whether all was OK with our stay. Not asked - not interested. Shame the management of this hotel lets it down because the room was otherwise fine. Enough space, enough light, and very well noise and temperature regulated. We will definitely avoid HF chain in future.

We particularly enjoyed the Bluetooth speakers built in to the rooms. Each room is sandproofed from the next so we never heard any noise from other rooms while in our own.
- Peter (6/5): style over substance - Good, but a bit 'style over substance'. Why oh why do have a rattly translucent screen to divide bedroom from toilet and shower? The latter leaked water all over the floor and no towel rails to hang your wet ones on. Simple stuff: should do better! Roof pool area was great with super view.

- Alan (6/5): - Stay here if you like room safes that need 3 visits to repair, if you like small rooms that are contemporary but functionally poor, showers that leak into the seperate wc, reception staff who pick up the phone dont answer and dont pick it up again, call reception for an extra towel several times and finally get someone who says yes no problem we will bring one up but never did, be told at check in breakfast is included but when you go for breakfast they say no you have to pay extra, refill empty breakfast items at a snails pace, dont refill the american coffee after it is emptied the first time and the other coffee machines take turns at breaking down. Other wise its ok.

There’s a metro stop less than one minute away which was very convenient. Would highly recommend this hotel
- TERRY (8/5): - The wallpaper at the pool was quite faded compared to the photos. The stereo system in the rooms were very quiet and I felt my phone was louder. They use a very strong scent in the hallways, kind of smells like a men’s cologne. The staff were great and helpful, great location as its walking distance to everywhere, everything was pretty clean. In the early morning depending on traffic noises you may hear a little bit but the windows are sealed great. The room becomes pitch black as there is a window shutter.

- Andrew (10/5): - Went for an old boys' weekend, we always try and choose a good hotel with plenty of facilities. This hotel is reasonably well situated but not as near the centre of Lisbon as we had thought. It looks like a typical concrete monstrosity from the outside but is however very clean and modern with very friendly and efficient staff. We spent some time at the rooftop bar! A good bar with excellent bar staff!! The only moan is that the so called swimming pool is really only for a dip and there are no sunbeds, the area is too small and we therefore did not use the pool. The hotel is a good 20 minute walk from the town centre and restaurants, etc. We would all recommend it however.

- SAMIR (6/5): - The hotel and staff are very good and helpful. A few things under the bed looked like hadn’t been hoovered for a long time but rest of the room was clean. Also it’s called the music hotel but there is no music! Foyer and hotel are deadly silent can hear a pin drop! Asked management why there is no music to be told orders from above have told them not to play any music as they were getting complaints from guests. I cannot understand who stays in a music hotel and then complains about music. The Spotify connection to the speakers in the room is so quiet that it cannot be heard ended up playing music on my mobile as it was louder. All in all good hotel excellent staff and very helpful, but was lacking music and atmosphere

- natalie (10/5): - Just an overall excellent stay! The hotel is modern, has a fun theme, amazing rooftop pool to cool off (however no umbrellas for shade). The room was great for our family with kids as it had two queen size beds and a vanity/desk area. Was very clean, beds were firm but comfortable. The breakfast was vast and delicious! Was a treat to be greeted every morning by Carolina with her beautiful smile before breakfast. The area was quiet and convenient for taking the metro although we used bolt/uber everyday as it was cheaper for a family of 4.
