• Anabelaab (10/5): Really good place - Very clean room, comfortable bed and mattress, super hygienic sheets, towels and pillows. Very good value for money. Very quiet location. Close to the port of embarkation and the city. Friendly staff.

• HafizH228 (4/5): Disappointed - Check in with family 7-11/12, at first all is good.. rent a car at this motel for 3 days and complain about very bad car condition on the first day drove the car, they replace another car next day slightly big but only tell us later about extra charge.. argue but were not entertain at all.. frustrated.
• Dikyanz (10/5): nice motel - Nice motel with cheaper price. it's very comfortable place for family stay. besides, it just near KUAH Jetty and near the BILLION supermarket. you can go to BILLION, HIG group in within 10-15 minutes from this motel. easy to find eating place and convenience shop.
• Simon (8/5): Off the beaten path - This was a nice little spot, but a little out of the way. The people were nice, though the room wasn't the cleanest. The best part of staying here was I found a fantastic chicken rice place a short walk down the road.
• CraftBeerDean (8/5): Good budget hotel. 20 minutes walk from Langkawi jetty and 20 mins walk to Kuah city centre - Good budget hotel. 20 minutes walk from Langkawi jetty and 20 mins walk to Kuah city centre. The area is quiet. The shower was nice and hot. The aircon worked well. There are 2 bottle of water free but you can also buy chilled water for only Rm 2 from the mini mart on site. There's a 7-11 about 600m away where you can buy more drinks and snacks. It's a good budget option and the closest one I could find to the jetty. The wifi is really spotty the further away from reception you get. I would stay as close to reception as possible. There's also 2 sets of tables and chairs next to reception where you can sit and the wifi is strong.

• fanap2015 (8/5): New motel - Near jetty. Staffs were friendly. Tv, aircond and water heater provided. Towels given with no toiletries. Can get extra pillow and blanket for free. Suitable for all especially family and budget travelers
• amiraa93 (8/5): Totally worth it - I totally recommend this motel for budget-restricted travelers. The price is very affordable. The location is not very strategic, located deep in some village. But the room is comfy, clean and convenient. Had a great time and a worth of money coming here

• Nita (8/5): Big room for 2ppl. Worth value of money. - staying for 3 nights, suitable for budget holiday, can request cloth iron & hairdryer, big room for 2 ppl either queen bed/single bed, basic channel tv but the signal is good, have many socket for electrical item use.

• Amir-Zaki Rat (4/5): Need to renovate... - Ok, room was ok, bit dark with the colours. Lighting didnt help. Reception at gate was ok, warm and friendly. Could do with a socket for charging close to bed. The mugs provided was unclean, had a thick dry coffee stain at base. Like some tried to use but decided against and left. Toilet door lock from room is broken. Toilet is too small. Shower having toilet close by is not nice as toilet seat tends to get wet. No separator. Despite having few visitors but many rooms available at ground floor was given this room by walkup staircase at first floor. Toilet sink unclean. With dirt at edges of soap glass plate. Toilet door colour mismatch with toilet colour and room colour and dirty. Sink indoor has outlet flowing past toilet seat. Very messy. Poor planning, poor design. Need rethink and re do. Should have better quality control. Pillow case although washed has algae stain on it.
• 925hanih (10/5): Holiday in langkawi - MSM is a nice budget motel with fully basic amenities which is near to the ferry jetty, kuah town & its shopping attraction. The staff were all friendly & helpful. We would like to stay there again if we plan to go there again in the near future
• braemjali (6/5): Deserve with the fees paid - stay 2 nights here with 3 kids need to improve the location of their aircond got mosquito at night but luckily we brought some repellent Just OK for RM200 fee paid No breakfast provided and location is very quiet and relaxing. Keep it up

• Verified traveler (6/5): Near and easy access to kuah town - Near to kuah town and jetty. About 3-5 min by car to Rams duty free and HIG. For those who come for shopping yes this is this motel is one of the options. Recommended for those who are not fussy about sleeping in a motel with basic facility-bed, aircond, kettle, sejadah for muslim, bathroom with shower and soap, towel. Friendly staff. What more you ask for? This motel is totally yes!
• abo1973 (6/5): Motel in a village - The reception was good. The location is good since we brought our kids. We need a motel far from the street. Night time as well as morning was awesome. You could watch monkeys, hornbill birds at the small forest facing your room. It was very quiet too. The setbacks were no wifi, even though they said that they have wifi service. No staff around to tidy your room every day. We met the receptionist once, only during our checked-in. No replenish of soap or drinking water even you stay more than one night. Bring your own hair shampoo too. The room size is alright. Suitable for 2 adults and two kids.
• aurevoirdarling (6/5): Mediocre stay - It's a motel that's pretty deep into a street, probably next to some forest. It's not exactly the safest place to stay either. Our hotels had wifi password but most of us (there were 15 of us) couldn't connect to it. My room 24 had a table that looks almost broken. The most shocking part was that one of the queen beds face directly to a huge square mirror opposite of it. We used the motel's towels to cover up, with rocks from the outdoors too. Overall the place is okay, the water was small, the toilet sink seems like it could fall anytime also. The beds are clean, but at night, something as hitting on my pillow, but I don't want to suspect it a ghost, I'm not crazy either, but the inconsistent thud sounds on my pillow right behind my head made me have goosebumps all night till I fell asleep. I couldn't see as my eyes are 9.00 each. The next night I switch places with my friend and I slept fine again. :)
• Nicodoran (8/5): Value hotel with friendly service! - Enjoyed our stay, it was basic however all we needed. We hired a scooter 3 days for 100R which is a reasonable price considering the good condition. As were leaving one of the owners gave us a lift into town saving us the taxi this was very appreciative :)
• hwang123 (6/5): Two buffaloes viewed from window - Clean enough with basic amenity. I enjoy the view from the window. Two buffalo are eating grass not far my room. The lady in the front desk is very friendly. Overall wise this is a good place to stay as long as you think about how much you have paid.
• sushsf2016 (6/5): Basic Budget motel. - Good service from friendly staff. Nice space outside the room to sit n chit chat. We had clean towels daily n water as well. However there is no luggage rack and no shelve at the wash basin to put toiletries. We borrowed chairs to put our luggage . There is no fridge in the room but we were allowed to put our drinks in the fridge in the mini market . Location is away from town as such we need a cab to go out which is between RM 10 to RM12 one way. Best to rent a car and bring own GPS.

• PY_KLMY (6/5): Clean Budget Motel, don't expect too much - We stay here for 4D 3N from 6-9 June 2015. We had a hard time finding this motel when we first arrived in Kuah because it is located off the main road. The signage to the motel is so small and not very clear. This is a basic motel with clean bed. The room itself is comfortable if you're looking for a simple place to rest. The rooms assigned to us have a leaking basin & another room the water heater is not working. However the water heater issue was resolved the next day. There are only 2 hair dryers in the motel for all to share. Best to bring your own. The towels provided are clean but rather worn-out. Room cleaning done only upon request. You may request additional drinking water from the reception.
• 861leef (8/5): Budget Motel - We stay there for one night, the staff very helpfull where they fetch us at kuah jetty. The room was nice, don't expect to much cuz is budget motel. Their signboard hard to located. So better ask them to fetch you from jetty to their motel. Enough place to park the car.
• 988lynnr (8/5): Value for money - Visited Langkawi for the third time. Normally we stayed at Pantai Cenang but this time I went with friends and we decided to stay at Kuah. Found Motel Seri Mutiara as its recommended by my friends. Less than 2km from HiG mall. They provide sejadah in the room. If you need iron, just ask from the receptionist. And they also got scale to ensure you did not exceed your flight luggage capacity! Hehe. Clean room. It was cute that the bedsheets, towels and kettle all pink.
• Sangsters66 (8/5): Quaint and simple - The directions and signange to the motel can be bigger. We rented a car so even though it was a distance from Chenang, it was nearer to Kuah where all the goodies are...The room itself is comfortable if you're looking for a simple place to rest but the only complain that we have is that the pipes were leaking and there were mosquitoes buzzing around.
• thehungrydrifter (6/5): Nice Motel but too far from anywhere - Arrived in the evening by 35MYR taxi from airport. Down a dirt track found the motel. Got two lovely rooms, clean, aircon, towels. No reception area/ any area to chill which is annoying as you are about 20minute walk to the town area. Had to rent bikes for 35MYR each to get to Kuah to eat. Weak wifi in room. Morning call to prayer for about 10minutes in the early hours. Moved accommodation the next day to go to Pentang Cenang where it seemed to be more happening and had the option to stroll around & not rely on bike rental. Nice rooms unfortunately location was not what we were after!
• c1scottc (8/5): Friendly staff; basic lodgings, quiet location - We had a fine time here. You can walk to/ from the jetty. The owner, though, graciously provided a ride for us when we booked a trip to snorkel in the nearby marine reserve. and again when we had an early am ferry to the Mainland. His nephew translated all we desired Malay-English, kindly welcomed us when we first arrived, and took good care of us throughout our two night stay. We switched from the room at first offered b/c it had too little light. You probably want to request a room with a window that does not look out only on the second floor Interior balcony.
• Snout39 (8/5): Friendly service but motel is difficult to find - We had a hard time finding this motel when we first arrived in Kuah because it is located off the main road further down another road and the signage was not very clear. We were on foot and able to ask locals and they were very kind and willing to show us the way. The room was simple and clean but because the motel is located close to a forest, little ants and other insects made their way into our room. Absolutely no harm was done, but they were there. Overall, we had a very positive experience and were grateful for the good customer service we received.
