Voyager23074750916 (10/5): Traveling with pets - If you’re looking for a clean, reliable hotel near the Buc-ee’s in Florence, this is it! We stayed here with our dog, and I was genuinely impressed. Typically, pet-friendly rooms can feel a bit 'worn,' but our room was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. A huge shoutout to Brenda at the night front desk—she made check-in a breeze and was incredibly polite, efficient, and friendly after a long day of travel. 10/10, I would highly recommend this spot to anyone traveling with (or without) pets!

Our only complaints the mattress in the room was way too hard for us. Didn’t get a good nights sleep because of that. All the shower was lacking that the faucet/shooter mechanism didn’t work well so there wasn’t much water flow out of the shower head.

The breakfast attendant was there on her phone in the back room and another guest was struggling with the waffle maker, the breakfast lady did not bother to help nor pay any attention at all, I went to try to help her as I wanted one myself since it seemed to be the only thing that looked remotely edible. Overall there can be a little more initiative in the work being done here. :/

Our door didn’t open in the morning after breakfast and had to get maid to let us in still an hour before checkout time. Other than that it was a cheap overnight while traveling Route 95.

Despite the fact the front desk view my daughter's injuries, the hotel is denying our claims and refuses reimbursement. No calls returned whatsoever. I called Corporate office customer relations and they sided with their own people. I will stay away from Best Western brand from now on. They do not deserve my business.

G2126YEdianad (8/5): Clean hotel - Be sure to make a reservation! Easy off and on to I-95. The hotel is reasonably priced compared to the other one nearby in Latta. Hotel is very clean and so was my ample room. Bed could have been a bit more comfortable. There was a small coffee type pod in the room where I could make a cup until coffee service was ready in the lobby at 6:30 AM. Free breakfast was adequate as there was nothing nearby but a Pilot truckstop where there were some fast food options. Front desk clerk was efficient.

We stopped by a welcome center and got a book of coupons and had a great price, about $35 cheaper than it was on TripAdvisor. The hotel honored the coupon. To check in was easy. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was really good. Eggs and sausage and sausage, gravy and biscuits and assorted cold items and waffles along with juice and coffee. The rooms were pleasantly clean. Nice hot shower and everything we needed in the room - TV, microwave, coffee maker and fridge. Air conditioner worked great. I would recommend this is budget friendly and we would stay here again.

Stuff missing on the walls, needed cleaned. My room door clunked back and forth while closed. The bathroom was legit gross. Slimy something all over the floor. Shower was gross and the shower head hadn’t been cleaned in years. Had a tiny super old tv.. which was fine, but just funny how old and small it was. The bed was shockingly comfortable and clean, but that mattress was ollllddd. Sunk in the middle and bouncy… but comfortable. Plus side was my truck didn’t get stolen and the front desk lady was really nice. Thats about it.

The room was not clean properly and found on the floor several pubic hair from previous guest on the floor and it was simply disgusting! Dust on the picture frames and floor. We showed the pictures to front desk clerk for proof and we requested a refund and left that same night. Its a shame because we really were excited to stay there!
417barbya (2/5): Horrible Experience - I called before reserving, pre-paid, pre-registered, and sent them a message saying I would arrive late. They informed it would not be a problem. After 10 hours driving, in the middle of the night I arrive and no one is at the desk, only an employee hiding by the breakfast area. He said they canceled my reservation, without my knowledge. They were completely sold out and left me and my family stranded in the middle of nowhere. I do not recommend, they’re not professional and can’t take care of their guests, even if they’re a Best Western Rewards Member. Hotel looks old and smells bad as well.

I was told that all the carts were currently being used and that I would have to wait. After waiting some time I reminded the room clerk that I needed a cart. I am in my seventies. The clerk was not helpful at all in trying to retrieve any carts for my use!

Pet was allowed to bark for hours in a room below where we were staying. After a 11 hour drive to the motel the last thing we needed was to be kept awake be a barking dog. The dog barked from 530 pm to well past 1230. Hotel staff did nothing to rectify the situation

Upon exiting the elevator there was a strong stench of sewage and cleaning products. The sewage smell was not in the room, but the cleaning product fragrance was strong in the room. Overall the room was clean but with obviously stains in the carpets and bathroom. Would not stay again.

The climate system in the room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. Breakfast as usual was a homerun for me. The place was well kept, well lit, (except for side parking lot), and the staff members were pleasant. We would definitely stay there again if traveling that way.

dianemE2888SO (6/5): Clean - Stayed for a night on our way South. Reasonably priced. Clean. Nice Continental breakfast. Easy on and off the highway. The reservation process was fast and pleasant. Always surprised about the taxes that are charged for a room..would recommend to stay
darrenpeterbilt (10/5): Inexperienced staff at holiday inn. Experience staff at best western - Went to stay at holiday inn at the same exit. 181 off I95 in SC. Somebody screwed up and was going to charge me $219 for a 1 day. Called best western down the road and even though I haven’t stayed here in 3yrs, Charity at front desk remembered me and gave my old rate Thank god. New staff at holiday inn which explains the result of then trying to overcharge me. Wasn’t happy Charity and Virginia went above and beyond for me Thanks guys

mpN5218ZZ (2/5): Random people roaming halls. - Didn’t like the two guys who were looking for trouble who were knocking on doors at 3:00 in the morning and then listening to people talk at breakfast how they were on the second floor harassing them as well. And then calling the front desk and the man working could care less. And when I asked the day shift people if he had passed along the information I find out that he hadnt. He was probably the one that let them in the building.

Matthew (6/5): Needs a lot of TLC. Tired old rooms. - Pool was closed and had a broken window on one of the panels that was busted out. Gym smelled bad. Pillows were like they were chopped in a blender and put back in the cover. Bathroom toilet seat almost came off the seat when I sat down it was so loose. The whole room looked old and band-aid repairs for whatever was cheapest. Shower curtain was off too, only fabric,no liner? And was too long, just gross sitting in the water and standing on it in the shower. It beats sleeping in the car I guess.
Heather (8/5): - We were very satisfied with our stay and would not hesitate to return in the future. We need a pet friendly hotel for our small dog and he was welcomed for a small fee. Room was quite comfortable, clean and quiet. Perfect for an overnight stay.
