Guest Reviews
- Rowena (3/5): Disappointment - Location; right off the highway! No traffic Too many things —- disappointment
Dirty, smelly, unkept maintenance & breakfast lacked protein, fresh fruit was old, cheap and gnats flying around spoiled apples; there were few healthy options—- lots of carbs and sugars
- William (2/5): -
- CECELIA (10/5): -
- Bobby (8/5): -
- Tracie (8/5): - The staff was friendly. There was no way of turning the shower on.
- John (1/5): Horrible Place - We were told over the phone days before our visit that we could get an early check-in, but when we arrived, we were told it would cost $50. I declined to pay. Later, when we returned at the normal check-in time, I was told our requested room was unavailable because it was “dirty.” After about 30 minutes of arguing, we were finally given the same room we originally requested.
I asked for a refund at that point, but about 30 minutes later I was suddenly told the room was now “available and clean.” When we finally got inside, the room looked okay at first glance, but then we noticed several issues:
• Gross stains on the sofa
• Sticky and dirty kitchen counters
• Random stains on the walls
• Bedsheets that were not clean (we had to request multiple replacements)
• Light switches and counters felt grimy — I even had to request sanitation wipes to clean them myself
To make matters worse, the pool had way too much chlorine in it, and it appeared the owners allowed their cats to roam the pool area. There was cat food by the pool and cats walking up and down the area while guests were there.
This was not the standard of cleanliness or professionalism I expected. I would not recommend this place at all
- Brandon (6/5): - Location No toilet paper in the room, no TV remote in the room. Then the front desk had no spare remotes
- MaryAnn (9/5): The stay was nice , bed was comfy and staff friendly. - It was very comfortable and close for our wedding event The only was that the bathroom floor were slippery when we arrived that we had to use our towels to walk on because they were so slippery, and the closet mirror was cracked
- Clydet (10/5): Me and my family enjoyed the stay! - The staff was amazing and sweet! The rooms are not to far from the food places and shopping! Didn’t have any problems at all!
- Rosana Ochoa (5/5): -
- Beltran (8/5): - El espacio Había cucarachas y en el cuarto de a lado tenían un perro

- Misty (6/5): - We showed up late due to being at volleyball games. Our room was not ready, the guy had to go check if the room was clean. It was not, he got us in a different room. Cool. We walk in and immediately the smell is intense, like mold covered up with pine sol or something. Tried to fan the room. Smell WAY too much, overpowering. Went and let front desk know. My friend had grabbed a towel from the bathroom to cover her nose. He came and checked and immediately walked us to another room. Before leaving the smelly room, he asked for the towel back and WENT AND PUT IT BACK IN THE BATHROOM! Lol, ick! Gross! She was like I wiped my nose on that towel. The second new room was a suite, more spacious. All was fine. Only thing was it was an ADA room and two bars of used soap (that cleaning didn't throw away) were left on the folded up shower seat. No big, just didn't touch them. But gave not so clean vibes, but for sure got that impression after putting contaminated towel back in bathroom. The breakfast was pretty sparse. If you love waffles, cereal and/or yogurt you would have been in heaven. Sub par experience, but not the worst I've seen.
- Victoria (8/5): -
- Briana (8/5): - Breakfast was a little disappointing and no coffee in the morning isn’t great, but everything else was just about perfect.
- Austin (6/5): - The shower needed grip on bottom and the shower rod was broken and the drain didn’t work. Hole in bed room wall had hole.
- Monica (6/5): - It was hot and not as clean for a hotel ..
- Verified traveler (8/5): Would stay again - Ice machine was not working, front deskperson was new and did not know how to complete all tasks. Room was clean, beds comfortable.
- brenda (4/5): Spend your money at Days Inn - Check in .no one at desk it was a little afterc3 . 3 ish a employee clocked in . Checked me in ...another employee came from the back ..he apparently was sleeping ... checked in to room .someone had slept on one of the beds ..the ice machine didnt work all weekend only one the up stairs one was gone .but it says there is one .
We have stayed her several times ..really took a dive .wont stay here again. Ask employees atvthe front desk all of them are new ..that should tell you something..they know nothing about anything you ask them .cleaning crew was two grown men who looked questionable.
- Janiece (10/5): - The hotel looked new and was clean.
- Mayu (4/5): - It was near the fair grounds The elevator was not working properly. The room was so humid, the papers I had with me got soggy. The A/C was not really cooling. The shower head was nasty. I got athlete's foot from showering there.
- Rudy (10/5): - Breakfast had very few options.
- Katrina (2/5): - Checking in took an hour cause there tablet to sign wasn’t working after an hour of trying over and over she told me oh I guess I can’t get your signature and handed me the keycard she should have just gave me it from the getgo ac not working rooms were hot would wake up sweating we told the front desk and they just told us everyone’s telling us it’s hot y’all aren’t the only ones. Top shower head didn’t work was just tub faucet ice machine not working
- Sanjuanita (6/5): Rust in the bathtub. - The rate does not fit the standard of this hotel. My bathtub was rusty and very slick. Afraid of a slip and fall.
- Johnathan (10/5): - Nice place
- 422tylac (2/5): I just wouldn’t - Where do I even begin… highly disappointed in the room considering the cost is $150 a night plus tax. Air conditioners are set where you cannot lower them past a certain point. The beds are that of a hotel 6. They tried to replace the carpet, but it didn’t do the place any justice. The breakfast consisted of a waffle maker with no batter to make a waffle. The whole place smells like fish. Appears to be long pubic hair on the sheets. Big gaps in the door so you can see outside of your room. Definitely would not recommend.
- Priscilla (10/5): - I had an amazing experience thank you so much for making us feel at home.
- Michael A (2/5): - The hotel ran out of towels and at breakfast there was 30 minutes left and so they wouldn't put out any more food. So we had to go somewhere else for breakfast, even though the nights stay comes with brakfast. Kinda rude staff about the card keys as well.
- Tania (10/5): - I
- LUIS (10/5): - Great staff
- Víctor (7/5): - They need add more food to the bredfast
- Mercedes (4/5): - The room was warm and the AC would only go down to 70. I was leaving to a concert and asked front desk for a fan. They promised me a fan when I come back. Unfortunately they let someone else use it. Sunday I woke up sweating… the room was still very warm.
- Leticia (6/5): Could of been better - It was pretty poor, they had machines to wash but no way to get quarters for them so we didn’t get to wash clothes. The breakfast was very basic nothing but waffles, yogurt, and regular drink. Was hoping for a better breakfast like our other stays. You can hear everything in the rooms, so it was kinda hard to get a good sleep. The pool was nice but no one was picking up after the kids leaving traces of water puddles and no wet signs, my kids could of slipped and hurt themselves checking in we weren’t even in our rooms yet.
- Alberto (10/5): - Good location
- Sudip (2/5): - The air condition was not working the night I checked in. No one available to fix that night. Next day they give me a new room. There was a Cat inside the new room sitting in the Window behind the curtains. There was nothing for breakfast except waffles. There was no attendant to reach out during breakfast. I made a complaint and was offered additional night free stay which I declined. Overall a bad experience and I would not recommend anyone.
- Vincent (4/5): - Had broken things in the room. Shower head, shower curtain rod. Ice bucket but no ice machine. Card lock barely worked had to use multiple times to get in.
- Jesse (2/5): - Breakfast was terrible no service in the front desk beds were hard
- Johnathan (8/5): - Nice hotel. Clean. high Middle class
- Joseph (6/5): - Was an older property than I expected. Had limited breakfast options, only waffles and other carbs based items and instant coffee from a machine.
- David (8/5): Very good -
- John (4/5): - When do not disturb tag was on the door they still came in and took my towels and don’t bother replacing them
- Jaime (6/5): - Breakfast really good
- Isai (10/5): - Clean rooms, friendly staff.
- jehuel (6/5): -
free breakfast?? only coffee and an old yogurt with a strange taste, they shouldn't offer breakfast, it's a lie
- Tomas (10/5): - Staff was very helpful and friendly
- Rose (8/5): Great price on the room! - It was a clean room and we didn’t have any complaints or issues about anything. We did not have/eat breakfast there even though we were informed when we checked in.
- Roberto (4/5): Nope never again - A/C was messed up.
- Joe (2/5): - Leaky bathroom faucet & showerhead. Never fixed. Caulked BR faucet. No way that will work - no maintenance. Dining area & halls hot.
- Courtney (6/5): - Room 201 is very noisy. The a/c is all you can hear all night long. It’s so loud, the room and hallways had a weird smell. The bathroom floor was dirty, dead bugs in the corner. Looks like it hadn’t been swept or cleaned. The pull out sofa bed mattress was dirty, had several brown stains. Only positive was we were able to check in 30 mins early.
- Michael (4/5): DO NOT Recommend - It started at the check-in when I was told that the room I reserved with the King Bed was not available so I had to settle for queen beds. In addition, I do not even know if WI-FI was available because nothing was noted on the Key envelope or mentioned at the front desk. The room had a very noisy air conditioner unit which the only way I could quite down was by setting the thermostat to a higher temperature which made the room at some point very hot and uncomfortable so I had to deal with the noise. Lastly, the hotel advertises that comes with breakfast, that's a joke!! A bowl of apples, two containers feeder style of terrible cereals and a ridiculous waffle machine. That's their concept of breakfast, really? At least the OJ from the machine was good.
- John (4/5): - Had roaches in tub and room smell like lysol.
- Miraida (8/5): - Near area of town I needed to be in
- Eduardo (10/5): - Very good attention
- patrick (10/5): - It was great price and comfortable
- Yolanda (8/5): - Staff was very friendly!
- Bailee (7/5): Good -
- Marc (5/5): Passable - Toilet hadn't been cleaned, wifi didn't work.
- Odiakosa (4/5): Disappointing -
- Alejandro (10/5): - Very clean and comfortable king bed. Polite staff. Breakfast was very simple only waffles. No protein
- Lencho (6/5): - Breakfast is terrible
- Dawn (2/5): - The room was infested with roaches and we have video. We did not stay the attendant was super nice that night in refunding our money
- Sixto R (10/5): - Great stay! No complaints! Very comfortable.
- San Juanita (10/5): - Very clean, quiet and great staff. Only issue ice machine was not working
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great stay! No complaints! Very comfortable.
- Huddleston (10/5): Great stay, great value, great people! - Very clean and the staff was amazing! The fish tank is cool. I wish there were more options with breakfast. Other than that everything was great!
- Chris (8/5): Family event - Lobby was nicely decorated and check in was easy. Room was clean.
- Nancy (10/5): - everything
- Manuel (4/5): - Breakfast was beyond scarce.
- Estefana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Celestino (10/5): - It was very relaxing…. Very happy with our stay
- Armando (10/5): Exceptional -
- 238darinp (6/5): Clean and professional, breakfast lacking - Room was clean and spacious as we had the suite. Area was convenient to our destination in Calallan.
My 3 stars was largely due to the breakfast, and I'm no stranger to Choice hotels turkey sausage and eggs out of a bag. This location was limited to waffles and a different coffee machine than I'm used to at most Choice properties.
- Mendez (10/5): Exceptional - I like it because it is clean and quite.
- Leonard (10/5): - Room had a musty smell
- Arnold (6/5): - I did not get the room for which I had reserved. I did get a better room with more amenities, but the closer door was falling off its railing and the toilet bowl was not operational since water had been cut off the water tank. I had to fill the trash can with water and then dump it into the toiler. This was very inconvenient.
- Loren (6/5): Pleasant - Large room. The elevator was broken for 2 days and we had to carry our luggage downstairs. The breakfast was below average, dont much selection ( no eggs, sausage and biscuits). We have stayed at several Quality Inn and have great breakfast.
- Diane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matthew (8/5): Very good -
- Monica (10/5): Exceptional - Big rig parking! Clean room & restroom.
- Maryjane (8/5): Didn’t stay long enough to enjoy the hotel - It was clean and spacious The breakfast was not very appealing not much to pick from
- Lexi (2/5): - The management decided to paint our room while we were out at the beach. Our room door was left WIDE OPEN with no staff around. All of our belongings inside, including my purse and laptop. Why would you even paint while guests were staying in the room? Management didn’t seem to think that was a problem. They moved us to a different room, which had obviously been painted in the last few hours because the fumes were horrible. They also didn’t think that was an issue for a 3 year old to be in a fumed room. The 3rd room and 3rd time we moved all of our stuff, the toilet didn’t flush. I was SO over it at that point I was like screw it. We had to fill the tank up everytime we used the toilet. But hey at least this one was on the ground floor since the elevator also didn’t work. We tried to do laundry and the machine didn’t have any soap so we wasted money on that too. The breakfast is also a joke, it’s literally stale cereal and a waffle maker. Horrible experience, would not recommend to anyone ever.
- Ladytraveler54 (2/5): Don't stay here! - Worst hotel EVER!!!!! They don't have coffee for breakfast area. Only Cereal, Yogurt & Waffles. They advertise Fresh Fruit and hot breakfast. None of those. My sister and her family were given a room upstairs, they had asked for a handicap room and was told they didn't have one. The next day we had a party to go to and the elevator was not working. She couldn't get her husband downstairs. they told them it would not be fixed until Monday. this was on a Sat. and the party was at 5:30 Sat night. Finally told the hotel they would call the ADA and report it so they got it fixed. don't stay at this hotel. Terrible! Fridge in room didn't work either.
- Guadalupe (10/5): - We reserved 3 rooms for a family trip to the coast. We were a big group but the hotel was more than accommodating and very helpful. It’s about a 15 minute drive to shoreline, but the price was right and the rooms were superb. The pool area was nice and their dining room was very neat. We’ll definitely book again!
- Derek (10/5): - Close to family, shopping, and great food.
- Rudy (6/5): Pleasant -
- Cassandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Juan (10/5): - Friendly staff.
- Luis (2/5): - Bathrooms with corrosion in the bathtub, the shower curtains are not changed, they had hands with dirt stuck to them, they give you the rooms uncleaned and the staff tells you that if it is not clean, tell the housekeeper to clean it as if it were your work, Note: They don't have enough employees and another Note: The manager is the one who makes breakfast.
- Shawn (2/5): Overall stay was poor and staff was not helpful - The hotel double charged me and when I confronted them they had no idea what I was talking about now I have to wait for transaction to clear in order to file a dispute. Not very good Everything
- Ricardo (6/5): Pleasant -
- Angel (10/5): - The room was very big, and the bed was soooo comfy!!!
We travel a lot , and we hope and plan to stay here again!!
- Pedro (10/5): - Thx
- Elvia (8/5): - Staff was nice, but hotel needs an update, smelled funny, carpet old, bathroom was molded I think was overpriced for the quality I have stayed at another Quality Inn and this one was yucky
- Lori (4/5): Will not recommend - we were given a room that the bed sofa was broke and the air condition was making a noise. After we told the front desk they had assign us to another room(handcap) down stairs. Therefore we had to remove all belongs in that first room on the second floor and take them to the first floor. The room had spots on the ceiling were water leaked through from the second floor. The breakfast did not have many selections(cold cereal, juice, yogurt and waffles).
- terry (4/5): - Shower was broken. Coffee pot was missing and all that was available for breakfast was cold cereal and waffles.
- Esther (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maria (7/5): Good - Great location and price Breakfast was only waffles and cereal. Out of cups for juice and coffee Then was told a whole electric company vehicles got broken into and all tools stolen, felt bad for them.
- Vonnie (9/5): Superb -
- Ricardo (8/5): - I liked that I got the first floor and room was close to desk but it was noisy because of the sound system. I kept hearing the base on the music, all 2 nights at nighttime when I was trying to sleep.
- Jennie (10/5): Exceptional - It was clean I like the gym they had
