- Angela (8/5): Great location - Great location within walking distance of various food places. The outlets are super close and easy to get to. Rooms were clean and had plenty of charging ports for phones and electronics. Breakfast had changed since my last stay and didn’t offer as much as they did before. That was somewhat disappointing but overall it’s still a great place to stay.

No signs to let the housekeeper know we were still in the room sleeping , and they were knocking on the door . There were nights we went to bed late & needed to have a sign stating occupied .

- Jerry (2/5): Not a good place to stay - First of all, I got to the hotel and they said I cannot stay there because I live less 16 miles away which was a lot I live 33 miles away took her $25 deposit and that I don’t do that to everybody, which was not fair to me I will never stay there again.

- Fatih (10/5): - Compared to the some other hotels we stayed, this was the best by far. The receptionists were courteous and welcoming. The beds and the pillows were so comfortable. The room had just the right temperature without humid or being too cold. The light features under the plug outlets were such a thoughtful addition, especially families with kids. Room was spacious and extremely clean. If we were to travel to the area again, we would definitely choose Spark!

Did not give my wife (small person) and me(bigger person) comfortable room to shower. The staff was nice and knowledgeable! The place looked good!

- chris (10/5): - Everything about the hotel was great except a few things there wasn’t a fitness center meeting room, office room pool and there was not a good breakfast meaning there were no waffles grits sausage things like that. It’s a very nice hotel but very limited as well.
- John (6/5): - The hotel was clean and in a great location. Lots of shopping and dining options, and close to the interstate. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure. A couple of things would probably keep us from staying here again though. There was no dresser to put clothes in, just a "cubby". Only 2 of the 4 cubbies were usable because the bottom two were on the floor (and one of them was occupied by the mini fridge). There were actually 2 fridges, one mini and one small. Not sure why there were 2. There was no outlet or usb port on one side of the bed so charging was a pain. And breakfast options were very limited (bagels, muffins, fruit). There was no coffee maker or tea in the room, they could only be obtained in the lobby. And no ice bucket or ice machine except on the first floor. To get the ice bucket we had to ask for it at the check-in desk. Those several small things added up, which is why we would probably choose another hotel next time.

We ate at Ay Guey, which was the BEST Mexican food I’ve ever had. All in all our overnight stay in Smithfield at SPARK, could not have been better.

They stated that it was Expedia responsibility to provide the receipt with the charges. This is so very wrong on every level.SO you state an amount and confirm the reservation with the amount and then on check-in you get slammed with additional charges that was not provided or made aware of. Please explain that.
- Michael (6/5): Overall a good hotel. - Overall, a good clean, sparsely furnished room, but no coffee maker and the toilet tank took forever to refill. Desk staff was friendly, and there’s a good Mexican restaurant nearby.

- Jana (10/5): Excellent place right of 95! - Got to the hotel about 10 pm. Concierge at desk was very kind & helpful. The entire building was clean and looks brand new. Only cold foods for breakfast - I had a hard boiled egg and very fresh bagel with garden vegetable cream cheese. I would definitely stay there again!

- MELISSA (10/5): Amazing from beginning to end - From the moment we checked in to checked out the staff made me feel welcomed. Friendly, welcoming, inviting, and polite. Their service was outstanding. Breakfast was hot and delicious. They had the area consistently stocked. You didn't need to wait or ask for them to replenish.
