- Sharyl (8/5): - I thought I would be staying directly across the street from the beach but we were given a room a half mile away from the main Inn that we had to drive around in circles to find it. Other than the location, the room was beautiful and having a bar and restaurant downstairs was nice. Our bathroom was as large as the room itself. Having a coffee station with water 24/7 was a plus. The area is beautiful and the breakfast at the main inn is top notch.

- Nancy (10/5): A Getaway in York Maine - This was a quick get away for my husband's birthday. We chose York Harbor Inn because it was close to the water and had a room with a deck at a very reasonable price. Although it was too cold to be out on the deck, the large window in the deck door let us see the water and sky. The hotel restaurant had a high end restaurant with excellent food and service. The morning breakfast buffet was very good. The room was clean and comfortable - the mattress could have been a bit more cushy. We would definitely stay here again when the weather is warmer!

One of the USB ports provided for charging my phone did not work and I had to use the charger on the other side of the bed - hence hitting my head on the eaves. Also, I usually wipe down the phone/remotes everywhere I stay. It was obvious the remote and especially the phone had not been wiped down for quite some time. The shower stall had hair on the walls and mold on the faucet handle. The provided shampoo/soap dispenser was very difficult to squeeze, which is a problem for anyone, let alone someone with arthritis. The front desk staff were very nice, however I had to come back down to get instructions on how to access the spotty Wifi.

The Inn is located right across from a nice park with a great view of the ocean and within walking distance of a small beach. The dining options as well were superb and highly recommended. I intend on making YHI and Maine a trip to take every year!

I had to go back in and tell them we had booked with Expedia at a rate of $199. They checked, and then agreed, we had indeed booked with Expedia. They then had to refund the difference. Moral of the story, don't assume that because you book through Expedia, you will automatically get that rate! Check your bill!!

You felt like you were standing in the bedroom while washing your face in the sink which measured maybe 12x12. We had plenty of hot water for our showers and the bed was comfortable. We had a room on the main highway 1 and the noise made it difficult to sleep. Temps were nice and cool so there was no reason to put the AC on. The girls at the front desk were great. The location was great. Across the street from a really nice park. I would definitely stay here again.

The room I was provided was in the triangular portion of the Tudor house type facility. I almost had a hunchback in the 3 days I stayed there and fury my head and shoulders several times. Looks a small closet was converted to a bathroom with very tiny wash basin, toilet bowl and a stall shower. PLEASE check with them before you book on what type of room they would provide you. The ballroom was right below and was very noisy until 11 pm when they had a party. The location of the hotel however is very good. Coffee iwas great and the front desk people were courteous. But will never book this again.

I came from Florida and I miss the New England homes, landscapes. My room was very comfortable and the pillows were the best. I had drinks and brunch in the restaurant and the service and food was excellent. The park and beach across the street was tranquil and such a nice place for a walk. - Necole (10/5): - We had a beautiful anniversary weekend at York Harbor Inn. The room was immaculate and we enjoyed all the amenities offered - the restaurants were wonderful and the staff was very pleasant and friendly. The beach access was a bonus too!
- Kathleen (6/5): Historic Inn, short walk to beach and trails - This is a lovely Historic Inn in York Harbor. The good...the bed and linens were very comfortable. The bathroom simple and clean. Given the current times with Covid restrictions, we appreciated the take away breakfast which was very good, and the ladies serving were very pleasant and lovely. The not so good...the room we booked was small and dark with one small window in an alcove with an air conditioner and pull-down shade, giving no natural light. Next time I would probably choose a place to stay closer to town with a view of beautiful Long Sands or Nubble Light. Though not a problem for us, staircases and hallways were narrow, perhaps not a great choice for guests who would find this a challenge. The bad...our room was not ready, asked at check-in to leave a cell number to contact us with update. It was a beautiful beach-day and we were unable to enjoy with our luggage and change of clothes in our car after a long trip North. After grabbing a bite to eat, returned to the Inn at 3:45 PM to inquire about our room. It was ready, but no phone call received. Disappointing.
- Jesse (8/5): You pay for the location - The views are amazing. Can't beat the park across the street connected to a small, quite beach. The food in the area is excellent, but expensive. There isn't much else to do in the area sadly. Our room wasn't really as advertised. Expected a King, got a Queen. It sufficed for our needs, but I was expecting something larger, and the jetted tub in the listing didn't exist. Standing shower in a very small bathroom. Majority of the site is old houses. Very well kept considering the historical nature, but much of it is small. I would be willing to go again for the relaxing nature of the stay, but not for the price I paid considering what I actually received.
- Sheryl (10/5): beautiful Inn, perfect vacation spot - Absolutely beautiful. Completely safe for a COVIDcation. They worked hard to make it so and it showed. It is right across the street from the pristine beach at York Harbor. Most delicious food with outside dining. Simply amazing place.
- Dennis (10/5): - Do to Covid pub was closed but they did the best they could w/outdoor seating...not ideal but at least they are trying. would recommend that grab bars be put in all showers to make it easies for guest
- Lauryn (10/5): - What a wonderful getaway. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Covid precautions are being taken at York Harbor Inn. Just a short walk to the park across the street and down to the beach. Would definitely come back!

- Verified traveler (8/5): - Beautiful, clean, and well-appointed hotel with a really nice breakfast (that you got to eat in one of the restaurants, overlooking the sea). My only tiny complaint is that we were in a room which had a ceiling pitched so acutely, I hit my head several times. (Sure, I'm a klutz, but this was beyond the pale.) Also, the bathroom was very, very small. Like, you had to step into the shower to close the door small. The mattress was comfy, and the room was warm and quiet; it was just precarious getting in and out of bed and the bath.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - I liked the historical feel of the place and the views are fabulous. Our room was a big disappointment. There was only a foot of space on each side of the bed. The window air conditioning was unbelievably loud. Dirty glasses were often seen in the lobby for hours and the bar downstairs is shabby and not very clean. It needs a redo. The staff at the desk were very nice and the cookies were excellent.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Our room was spacious and beautiful however, we booked our stay at the York Harbor Inn, Yorkshire Room and when we arrived they changed our room to another location that was about a mile away from where we wanted to stay. We wanted to be near the ocean. The clerk at the front desk stated that they were very busy, as if it was our fault. Whoever, books a room there please make sure you get the room you requested.

- Heather (10/5): - Liam was the best thing about York Harbor Inn. He was accommodating, professional, and friendly. We also loved the person who took care of our room. Even though our room was relatively small (standard), we had everything we needed and were very comfortable. My daughter’s room, the bridal suite, was large and luxurious. The Inn was in the perfect location. Also, the breakfast provided went above and beyond the typical fare. Everything was well maintained and cared for. Again, special thanks to Liam!!!!
