- Betsy (6/5): I intended to fully use both the nights, but something came up and could not keep the room for t sec - The room was nice! The road noise is absolutely crazy. Need to put the kitchen nets on the back side. So the noise isn't so bad to those who pay a little more. The construction workers all had the backside rooms taken,, i get that they get to be treated fairly too. But if somebody's paying way more money than just the construction workers, then they should have a better room.Area in the back away from the noise too

I’ve been staying at this hotel for work for about 10 years and the facilities have remained in good condition over that time. I’d say that this is one if the nicer and best maintained Beat Western hotels that I have stayed in. I also appreciate the breakfast offered. The breakfast staff are very friendly and make an obvious effort to ensure that quality items are available. The breakfast area seems to be well kept and the features are usually in working condition. I appreciate the cleanliness of the rooms and common areas despite the frequent inclement weather. The fitness center equipment suits me well also. I look forward to returning to the comfort of the hotel after a long day at work.

- Escape54980825325 (4/5): Stayed 3 days over Christmas, cleaned up, then falsely accused of stealing a painting. Had to change rooms. 2 stars. - ⭐️⭐️ (2 stars) My family and I stayed here for about three days over Christmas because we hosted a small Christmas gathering at the hotel. When we checked out, we made sure to clean up our mess and pack all of our belongings before heading home. Shortly after leaving, we received a call from the hotel accusing us of stealing one of their paintings. This was extremely surprising and upsetting. We did not take any artwork or property from the hotel, and we would never do something like that. My parents did not raise us that way, and we had no reason to take anything—especially after staying multiple days and paying for our rooms. We were also required to change rooms during our stay because our original room had already been booked after Christmas, which added inconvenience to the trip. What’s disappointing is that one of the staff members had previously asked me to leave a review, and I was originally planning to give this place 4 stars. However, being falsely accused after doing our best to leave the room clean completely changed our experience and how we felt as guests. Because of this, I’m rating this stay 2 stars.

- Harris (7/5): - The pool was great and the hot tub was nice. breakfast was good. Staff were nice. and I was happy to see my husband which is why we came in the first place. Expensive!!! There was an old apple underneath the sofa bed in our room that we didn't notice until the following morning. There was no real blanket provided for the sofa bed or pillows either. I shared my pillows from the king bed for my kids to use and they luckily brought their own blankets otherwise they would've been cold. And the room was way too bright during the night from the hall light shining under the door and the outside lights shining through the double curtains. Also the plug ins on the lamps don't work unless the lamp is turned on so how're you supposed to charge your phone at night if the lamp isn't on?

- Robert (8/5): - 24 hr access to the pool, great breakfast beautiful view of the horses and rodeo arena and sunset out our large window lovely run on quiet streets the next morning close access to Union High school where I was doing some training. Friendly, helpful staff Only problem: someone was smoking marijuana in the early morning and the smoke somehow permeated into our room and made it hard to sleep for a while.

We also loved our loft suite! Super cool set up! Great for larger families or families who just want more space. Highly recommend!

I would definitely reccomend using this spot for anyone with a big party. Best hotel in town by far. We will be doing parties here from now on.
- 577ginay (8/5): Excellent place to stay, great customer service! - I've stayed at this hotel a couple of times, both for business and pleasure. The rooms are clean, and spacious. Breakfast is good, and the whole hotel is very kid-friendly. Their customer service is what really really stands out. The staff at breakfast and at the front desk is always friendly and helpful. The only down sides, one night I couldn't get hot water for a shower! The issue resolved within 10 minutes but it was odd. Also know that there are a lot of oil workers who stay there. They get up early, and on weekdays you might hear a lot of noise from the hallway. The room actually came with earbuds to block out the noise!
- 17brentw (4/5): Bad Breakfast Experinces!! - Even though the rooms are clean and nice, they lie to you in regards to their breakfast service. Food is burnt, harder then a rock, or not in stock. They use real plates and I have yet to see them stocked. You wait for them to bring them out and I have seen people wait over 15 minutes to get a plate. You come down hoping to have a decent meal before you leave and travel home. This does not happen. This is not my first stay here and every time they have left me disappointed. Website states one thing and what you get ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!!
- tyey2025 (10/5): I came out the the basin to relax and unwind, the whole time I was there i felt as if every amenity provided succeeded. - 24 hour pool and jacuzzi, complimentary cophee cappuccino or coco in the lobby, really nice gym equipment, and the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept on. I have literally nothing to complain over. It may be a bit pricier than other hotels in the area but it is worth every penny.

Rooms are always immaculate and comfortable. Breakfast is always great. I had started to think this was the Best Western standard but after staying in the Rawlins location recently I realized this is the exception not the standard. The Ballard location is way above and beyond when comparing to other Best Westerns.

The hotel is always clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating. They serve a nice breakfast and their room rates are very reasonable. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Breakfast has always been good and this stay was no exception. The only negative thing a person could say is due to the location the highway can be a bit noisy, however with the provided ear plugs you don't even notice it. This is always my go to hotel when in the Uintah Basin and will continue to be!

Always very clean and the hot breakfast consists of real farm eggs not that powdered crap and every employee is always very kind and friendly. I highly recommend this Best Western for your next stay when traveling through Ballard, Utah

- Natasha (8/5): Clean, comfortable, safe - The property felt clean, safe and organized. The breakfast had oatmeal and cream of wheat, eggs, meats, toast, yogurt. It was nice to wake up to. Surrounding the property are areas to walk our dog. The pool table and weights in the gym were fun! There was some road noise if you are on the front side of the property. The jacuzzi was closed for repairs.
