• Elizabeth (5/5): For the price, a decent value for the money. A place to stay one night .. but not long stays. - Rooms were clean. For the money, was a fair value.. what can you expect. The breakfast is not a high point of this establishment. They did have fruit, waffles and cold cereal with toast. Regular coffee was not good... But the latte machine was nice

• Connie (1/5): Awful! A rip off of your money! - Breakfast was bad hardly nothing. Advertised as Scottish inn but was billed under best western. The rooms rug was very dirty, couldn’t even walk across room in socks, they got black from floor. And after we left they charged us $50. for our small dog because they said they would need to clean better. The room wasn’t clean when we got there and they had no place for my dog to go out, the grass behind was very tall. And we were surrounded with tree service workers which were always sitting outside. Guess I don’t blame them cause the rooms weren’t that comfortable. We didn’t like anything there and the information on your site needs to be updated cause it’s nothing like we experienced. We believe new owners have taken over and never changed their site information. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Breakfast area is nice and clean, however, poor selection, there was cereal, the waffle maker didn't function right, orange juice was watered down. Otherwise not bad

Toilet was rocky and the fan in bathroom needs help. But nice decor and safer than most hotels. Bed was a little hard.

• Marsha (4/5): - Decent price. Small location. Definitely can tell this is an older motel. Cracks, chips in tub, paint missing, poorly done. Beds were nice and clean though. Had a cricket in bathroom. Breakfast is minimal. Not sure how long the cereal had been there. Fruit was good. We chose to go to a local restaurant one day and the Quick Trip another. Better quality and options at both.

• Carrie (6/5): Older budget motel in an area of nicer hotels - It was right on the side of the highway but Maps shows it south of where it actually is. This looks like an old renovated motel. The first room I was assigned to the key wouldn’t work. The 2nd one did work.

• Susan (8/5): - Owners were real nice. Rooms were very clean considering the age. Pool was nice, but had to net it ourselves with alot of big/little bugs taking their own swim. Bring your own pillows as the ones they use are couch pillows and small squares. (Didnt like that very much). Left real early so cannot comment on their breakfast.
• Jones (10/5): - The view was nice and I loved the lighting in the room. Beds were very uncomfortable and the shower was just a stream not the greatest to take showers with shampoo or conditioner in your hair to rinse.

The way she conducts herself is unprofessional. The way the rooms are not cleaned is disgusting. I would never recommend for anyone to stay here. I want a complete refund for this wasted money.
• Krysta (10/5): - We were there for my middle monsters baseball tournament. It was my husband, myself and three boys. They had a great pool area, convenient ice machine, breakfast was great, the staff was AMAZING and the room was perfect for us for the night. We left out swim suits in the bathroom. I called and a staff member answered immediately and made sure to find our swim suits. When we came back to pick up our swim suits they quickly gathered them for us and they DRIED THEM!!! So amazing, as our swim suits were still wet from the night before. Will definitely stay here again if we have another tournament in Decatur!!!

• Sabrina (3/5): Hotel needs updated, works as a place to lay your head but nothing else. - Location was great for visiting our family and the staff was very friendly. Rooms smelled musty and like cigarette smoke even though they had been just shampooed. One of the rooms had no hot water so step-son had to shower in our room. Asked for extra pillows as the ones are flat and folded into throw pillow size. Was told they didn't have any, had to go to Walmart to buy ones. Other room that family rented the chair in the "sitting" area and disgusting, Had to put a towel down before sitting on it. Our room didn't have that, so only where to sit was on the bed and other half of the room was empty. Could tell it used to be nice hotel, but has gotten very run down.

• Chad (10/5): Great Value and Clean Rooms - This was my third time staying here. This hotel is a great value for the money and is very clean! It is only about 30 minutes away from where I usually go for fun and is a lot nicer than hotels closer to where I go that are around the same price. The lady at the front desk is very friendly and always strives to run a clean establishment.

• Tony (6/5): Pretty good, I enjoy staying here. - I like the hotel in General. Good Location. Good Price. Good Service. I have stayed several times. The room was a little bit worse this time. There was no coffee replacements. The carpet was a little dirty. Not like visable dirt but I spilled some water and I tried to wipe it up and the towel came back with very dark spots. The carpet hides it very well though.

I don’t need all the fancy things, a very clean room , comfortable bed , hot water, quiet, and excellent location. I will stay there again.

• Tony (9/5): Pleasantly Suprised - Great Staff. The room was older but clean. I was pleasantly suprised when they actually cleaned the room the next day. Usually now, hotels only clean them every 2 days or not at all, due to "climate change". They also had the little shampoos which is nice. Everything is great, the hotel is older so the electrical plugs are a little loose for plugin but really minor.

• Oakley (10/5): Excellent stay on a budget - Although dated the hotel was extremely clean and cleaned every day. There was all the little things you need like shampoo, conditioners, soap, hair dryer, fridge, microwave, WiFi etc… even a small continental breakfast. The waffles were excellent but it could use some protein options. The dryer was broken at the time of our stay but the office lady did offer to dry.
