• Brendan (7/5): Decent place to sleep and shower - I enjoyed the jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Staff was nice and friendly. Bed was standard and comfortable. Plenty of hot water. The room had a musty smell. Price felt a bit high.
• Barry (4/5): Not good, couldn’t wait to leave! - Not much, very old and needed upgrading. No elevator to the second floor where we stayed, the breakfast looked terrible and was the same for at least two straight days. The room was clean but needed several upgrades including bad plugs and lights, no extra pad locks on the door, people slamming doors and making noise most of the night. The staff was very nice despite the old worn out hotel they worked in. This hotel is not for people who like nice clean areas that are a slight upgrade from their home.

Stains on the outside of the tub ran down the wall. There were only around 12 squares of toilet paper in the room.

The staff knocks and announce who the are instead of just unlocking the door and just walking in. The only thing I disliked was the slamming and very loud noise the staff made whole cleaning the rooms.

I like they clean the room after we left during the day Well today is check out Monday August 1st been here 5days . It's 7:30 am went to check out breakfast it was all empty. My room when first walked in was a little dirty (floors) had dirt and noodles. The door hook on the bathroom fell when I went to put my towel wasn't screwed in right.

The room itself was okay, neither spectacular nor bad - about what I anticipated. But the overall experience felt a little seedy and unsafe.

The pool needs to be cleaned it was very dirty and grimy so would not get in or let my children in which was very disappointing to them

• Tina (2/5): Don’t use the pool - It was very hot weather the past few days, weeks actually. My husband works outside so I booked an overnight stay to cool off in the pool and stay overnight. We arrived at 3:30, I asked the counter attendant if the pool was open and he said yes, and told me where it was located. We checked in, brought our things to the room, changed and headed for the pool. When arriving at the pool right away we noticed the algae all over the pool!!! At first I thought it was just stains, but sure enough it wiped away. After taking a few pictures, a different employee comes out side to tell us that the pool is closed for cleaning until 6pm. We continued to stay poolside, in the shade and have a drink. During this time the employee that told us the pool was closed, left, then came back and proceeded to clean the pool. He had no chemicals, no cleaners and no vacuuming tools. He just wiped the algae away into the pool water. We were so disappointed because the whole purpose was to use the pool for the rest of the afternoon, it was hot, temperatures in the 90’s

• Kris (8/5): Quiet and comfortable - Overall we had a great stay. The beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet, so we slept well -- our #1 priority. The breakfast was good with the waffle makers, bagels, cereal, biscuits and gravy, eggs and sausage, and more. The staff was friendly. The only negative was there were pieces of balloon and plastic on the floor, and it didn't seem like it had been washed. The bathrooms and everything else were clean.

Standing water on floor in lobby, water on floor in our bathroom, wadded up toilet paper shoved into peephole, spa tub did not work and it was sealed with packing tape instead of caulk. Tv started off with a black line across the screen, but then completely stopped working after about an hour. Bathroom layout was really weird. The spa tub/shower combo had a glass wall on one side that was right next to the bed, so if you were sitting on the bed you could see through the glass and have a crystal clear view of anyone sitting on the toilet. The entire building REEKS of marijuana. The morning was especially bad once people started checking out and housekeeping had all the room doors propped open. Breakfast was very mediocre at best, everything was cooked using the one microwave that was in the center of the breakfast bar. Will not be returning.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Just Go Someplace Else - The carpets all throughout the hotel were filthy. Upon entering our room we were immediately hit with a disturbing smell of must or feet. The shower walls and floor were filthy. We had two rooms, one shower didn’t even work properly. Water barely came out of the shower head. The light switches and outlets filthy. We barely wanted to touch them. Vending machines, all out of order. The pool wasn’t open. In the middle of summer. It was still completely covered. To top ALL this off, there was a small roach in one of the rooms. Schereville is a nice city, I’m not understanding how this hotel, more like a motel, is even still open here. I should have taken pictures, we were just so ready for our stay to be over and get out of there.

• Douglas (1/5): Not bad but charged my card extra. - Pretty clean. Not bad They charged my card like normal, refunded the deposit like normal and then the next day charged an extra $10. When I called to find out they wouldn’t answer.
• Douglas (8/5): - The beds are on metal frames. Sp everytime you roll or move the metal will make a loud noise
• Johnna (6/5): Not very clean; mediocre hotel. - Very mediocre at best. Beds not very comfortable and they had a metal base that banged when you moved in the bed. Not very clean room. Bathroom only sort of clean, an inch of dust on the light fixtures in the room, and the ironing board was disgusting. Very disappointing for the amount of money I paid. On a positive note, the hot breakfast was decent but they had the same food to eat both mornings. A variety would have been nice but the food was decent.
