The Continental breakfast was excellent with so many options and the coffee was really good. Thank you for an enjoyable restful evening.

- Jessica (10/5): - Plenty of parking for full size pickups, super friendly and helpful staff, comfortable clean rooms, and well maintained pool. Our favorite thing by far was the breakfast. Items were clearly labeled (for instance biscuits and gravy contained pork, gluten free cereal, etc) and there were several options for different dietary needs. There were lots of little extras like granola to mix in the lactose free yogurts, dried fruit or nuts to add to the instant oatmeal or cereal, little packets of Nutella, etc. The only downside is no elevator, but request a 1st floor room if needed and they should have no problem accommodating.
- Brian (4/5): - Here is the good: front desk person was great. Allowed us to check in early, very welcoming, told us to let her know if we need anything. Room was big. Here is the not so good: the mattresses we worn out. I have never seen a mattress that sinks in like these did. The room had ants. The bathtub was dirty. The smoke detector needed a new battery and was chirping. We requested a new battery and waited. Finally went out to get away from the noise. After going out for a while we decided to skip the night staying there, deciding to drive 7 hours home to avoid the room. I have read they are working on fixing up this hotel. I applaud their efforts. The person at the front desk has a great attitude. My only recommendation would be to get new mattresses and clean the rooms better. A great person at the front desk wonât overshadow a terrible mattress in a dirty room.

- Anthony (6/5): Pictures are deceiving - The hotel is old with no modern renovations. The bath tub was old and the water faucet made a lot of noise when you take a shower. The bed was cheap and hard. If you have a bad back, I recommend not staying here. My back hurt all night. No elevators, wooden old stairs.

Continental breakfast was really quite good, with good variety of breads, pastries, biscuits & gravy, dozen types of cereal, instant oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, raisins, mixed dried fruits, fruit cups in fridge, very tasty selection of yogurts (thankfully not fat free). Very friendly helpful staff at check in and after. A very well run motel; and I'll definitely stay here again soon.
- Donald (4/5): - There wasnât much to like. The hallway looked very nice and clean but the room had a very damp and/or animal smell to it. The bed should have been retired a few years ago considering its significant sag. The hotel is very overrated.

There was evidence of new AC units going in which was needed because our started squealing in the middle of the night. Finally we turned it off and went back to sleep but it was warm. No elevator. Room was clean but older. Staff nice. Breakfast very limited but coffee was good.

Main reason for selecting this property. Staff apologized and noted that Expedia website information was incorrect. Hot tub has not been working for a couple of years.

I got well rested in a comfortable bed and clean room. The tv and microwave and fridge were perfect for my needs. If I travel thru here again I would choose rhis place again.

- Verified traveler (6/5): TICKS IN THE ROOM - Check in was quick and within 5 minutes of check-in, we found ticks in the room. We told the manager and he gave us a different room. But we were still paranoid. As others have mentioned, pool and bathtub were both closed.

Front desk staff was friendly and pleasant; we had a good conversation about the area and things to do. The surrounding grass was quite long but don't let the appearance fool you into thinking that this is not a nice place to stay.

One day the breakfast was great (biscuits and gravy, and a lot more!) but the next day someone did not fill the breakfast items on time. Basic rooms that served the purpose. The pool and hot tub were not working while we were there. If you just want a place to sleep, this is ok. Check out Custer State Park, Devils Tower and Spearfish Canyon!

- Kayla (4/5): - The pool is out of service/there wasnât even water in it. There is no elevator to carry up your suitcases. The AC has been around before I was born and it did not work very well at all. Kinda sketchy area with nothing else around.
- Nanette (6/5): Awaiting Updates. - Had to change rooms because there was no shower handle but we just moved next door and they were very apologetic. They have a brand new owner who is in the process of fixing long neglected maintenance (pool was closed). They are planning on buying all new mattresses. We will give them another try next time we come this way.

- Carol (8/5): - Staff were friendly and efficient but motel is dated. Truth be told there aren't many options in Sundance, WY. We ate dinner at the only option, the Longhorn Saloon and Grill. No coffee or breakfast in town on Mondays. The Crook County museum was a highlight of our stay. Don't miss it!

- Zach (4/5): - When i checked in the lady was very nice but it took 30 min to get checked in, tgen went to my room. My room was FREEZING! A window was open tgere was no bedding on the bed...NONE! I went back down to the desk to tell her. I was not offered a different room or anything, she just handed me all the bedding so I as A GUEST had to completely make the bed, tgen go back down for towels. Completely unacceptable!

- TANJA (10/5): - After reading some reviews we were curious to see how the breakfast was. I can tell you, they definitely upped their game with breakfast: biscuits and hot gravy, many cereals including Gluten free, 3 different milks including dairy free, many flavors of oatmeal, juice, muffins, breads. They had hard boiled eggs and English muffins with Nutella, which is my favorite breakfast. The coffee was fresh and hot so I was definitely impressed! They also had granola, honey, cream cheese, nuts, raisins, several jellies, yogurts and mixed fruit cups. I did not expect such a great breakfast. They also accommodated us with our small dog. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Only improvement I would suggest is if they could post their pet policy and price online. It's tough to decide on a place to stay when you don't know what you will get charged for your pet.
