We noticed several small black ants in the bathroom. We mentioned this at check out and they said they would take care of it. It is conveniently located near a WalMart and close to several downtown shops and restaurants.

You can access the room from inside only but it does have a door that leads outside but you cannot access from from outside. This was extremely helpful for being handicapped.

- Timothy (10/5): Quiet and comfortable - The room was comfortable and clean with a nice size refrigerator with freezer shelf. Excellent water pressure in the shower. Breakfast area was very small, but food selection was very good. Our only complaints are 1. No mirror outside the bathroom and 2. The toilet paper holder is ridiculous. Every time one of us moved, we knocked the tp off and it would roll away. If you stay here, take it off and set it on the counter. Why didn't I think of that before writing this review?

- Hzgmech (8/5): Great stay - Rating would have been 5 but the price is just a tad high, but it’s summer and options are limited in Brookfield. The staff was excellent, warm breakfast, comfortable beds and clean room. Parking seems ample with a small gravel lot for trailer haulers or straight/bobtail trucks. Quiet setting. The blankets are a bit thin but HVAC worked well. I would stay again if in the area.

Not much healthy choices for breakfast, but there are waffles, sausage, and eggs, and biscuits. Would definitely stay again. If you have a favorite blanket, you might want to bring that, as the blankets are minimal.

This was a business trip for me, but would use this hotel anytime for pleasure also. Any other business trip or pleasure trip in this area I will definitely use this hotel.

Our room was clean, quiet, and though the exit doesn't have a lot of food options, it was a great place to stop for the night while traveling through.

- Debbie (10/5): Good place to stay with advise - My husband and I are visiting relatives and found that the BW was in a very good location, close to 63 and Walmart. The motel was very clean, they washed the floors every day and the daily warm breakfast was good with other options. We choose not to have our room cleaned every day......so maybe they should incorporate that into their program to create an ECO friendly stay. My biggest complaint is about all the plastic waste that we experienced all over Brookfield. Nothing was served on washable plate. I cannot even imagine the amount of plastic waste that accumulates each day in the landfills. Plus I do not like eating off of plastic or disposable plate, utensils, cups, etc, because of pastic toxins. My suggestion is to get rid of plastics and disposables and go back to glass and china. You may have to purchase a commercial dishwasher, but this is cheaper in the long run and more environmentally friendly. I would also suggest an outside patio in the back facing Walmart so that if we would like to bring in take out we have a place out side to enjoy and not just in our room. Overall, we were very impressed with the motel and staff. Thank you!

- David (2/5): - My wife & I stayed in rm 106. Thru out the nite we had a loud intermittent ‘Jack hammer like’ sound every 30 minutes duration 45 secs. NO SLEEP WHICH WAS BAD ENOUGH ON EVE OF MY MOM’s funeral next day. complained to clerk and hotel manager no offer to move us. HORRIBLE NITE !!! told by manager it was an air compressor located proximal to our room. We deserve a refund for this calamity. Mgr told us you all would do that since we prepaid thru you. NOTE: we still used Expedia for our stay in Mount Vernon Illinois next nite. Hopefully you can do the ‘right thing’

- Janace (6/5): Suite was a waste. - I pd extra for the suite with the couch, which the room had. But there was no tv in that part of the room, and no coffee table. I was expecting to be able to sit on the couch to watch the tv, but instead had to sit on the bed, which was what i paid extra to avoid. The hotel is nice and the room was clean, but i was very dissatisfied with the room. Was not at all what I expected for $175.
- PF4Paris (10/5): Clean, Comfortable, and Friendly Place - I spent four nights at the Brookfield Best Western and was so impressed by the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the facility. My room was serviced every day with fresh towels and fresh soap. The bed was comfortable. They also offer a hearty breakfast in the morning (though we didn’t partake.). It’s not a fancy place but it’s well maintained. Very happy with my experience.
- RogerY83 (8/5): Great option to stay when visiting Walt Disney’s hometown Marceline - If you are thinking of visiting Walt Disney’s hometown of Marceline Missouri this hotel is a perfect choice. It’s just down the highway from Marceline (15 min) and provides a clean and comfortable accommodation run by a friendly staff.

- brookandwillow2 (10/5): Emergency accomodations - We needed to get off the road during an excessive heat wave. Our car lost AC during the trip. We stopped in Brookfield hoping to find a place to stay until morning. I feel the staff saved our little old lives! Heroes.
- Rickey (6/5): Kinda scary - We arrived late and the parking lot activity was pretty sketchy. Several people wandering the lot and I’m pretty sure there was some illegal soliciting. Kind of scary but not many options in the area. The floor of our room was disgusting and the shower was a joke.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Worth it! - I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a place to stay in north-central Missouri. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were impressively friendly. The breakfast was unexpectedly good for a complimentary breakfast. The only negative I would say is that the hallways could use a re-fresh; they were a little musty. Otherwise, a great stay!
- Customer1802 (6/5): Needs improvements - Room had smell. Hotel needs a deep clean. Pool needed cleaning. Very small room for breakfast. They need larger seating area. Staff was VERY friendly and helpful. I didn't like that the coffee machine is in thr bathroom.

- Laurie (6/5): Disappointed - 1st floor room, very damp and musty feeling/smelling. The iside door to bathroom was peeling up at the bottom. The TV had 1 working channel. Not even a good channel. At 4a.m we could easly hear the person above us walking back and forth constantly. Breakfast was good. That room was way to small though. Very dissappointed for a fabulous rated hotel and the price we paid.

- Delmar (10/5): Nice & clean too! - A very clean property and comfortable beds with lots of pillows. The staff were friendly and accommodating in every way and we were given a list of restaurants available as well. Go to Captain Dans for excellent bar- b-q! We will stop here next time we are through the area. Thanks for a restful night!
