I asked to pay more for a better room. She said all beds the same. The shower was NIOT clean. Dark hair all over the shwr wall. I don’t know how this rates very good.

We also found an old french fry on the floor. We never had fries in the room. We have stayed before and it seems this place is not as clean as it should be

• Synthia (8/5): Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We had 4 children 10 and under. IN ONE ROOM and still enjoyed our stay - We enjoyed our visit, the only problem we had was trying to get our Xbox to connect to the wifi for the children. Not a big deal at all though. Not sure if it is related or not, but both my son and I have had a cold since swimming. Maybe too high of chlorine levels. Maybe not. Could be just a cold. Other than that. The fold out could have had a cleaner sheet but when asked they nicely provided one :)

Two different staff members were working in dirty clothes at the front desk and the extra blanket and the end cover on the bed were dirty. The heating in the room was working inconsistently and we were cold a lot.

• Susanne (8/5): Give notice if you intend to use the pull out bed! - I’ve stayed here many times. It’s a great place — clean, comfortable, and the staff is pleasant. I requested a pull out for my grandson. It t was not made up and when we pulled out the linens from the closet to make it up ourselves, there was only one sheet and a blanket. Thats unreasonable. Any bed should have a sheet to lay on, into cover with plus blanket.

WTH !!! So the room rate that I booked was actually 10.00 more SO THAT WAS A SURPRISE! Not happy HOTELS.com and I am a platinum member!

The rooms, while not new were clean and well maintained. It bed was comfortable and the room spacious. We stayed here because my husband and son had stayed there overnight returning home from a trip. They found it superior to the other hotel they stayed at at the beginning of their trip.

• Blake (10/5): - Please keep in mind the location and the price, but this is the best place I've stayed in a long time. I'm so tired of triple priced places that aren't half as maintained as this. It's not in a great area, but I haven't lived here for a few years. The checkin was smooth and the staff is the friendliest and most professional I've dealt with in several years. It was a great way to end a very long and exhausting day. I haven't checked the pool or tried the breakfast yet, but I'm impressed with everything else. Best for the price range - hands down.

• Lisa (2/5): - The check-in staff was very kind. I didn't get her name. The room was out dated and I wish I had a bathtub not a shower. The room was very clean. The a/c made this loud noise that would come and go. it was so loud it would wake me up all hours of the night. it did keep the room cool though. The breakfast was good and warm. The thing that made this hotel a 1 star was the hidden charge. So few days after I notice a $10.00 charge from the hotel. I called the hotel and told the staff I notice a charge. The woman that answered the phone without asking for my information (which makes me think I am not the first person who called about this!) told me that any customers that book through third parties like Expedia, hotel.com and others will be charge a fee by the hotel. I asked her if that is the case what is the point to book through them? they are supposed to be cheaper to do so. She then explained that Expedia lets their customers know about the fee. I explained that I read everything before agreeing and there is nothing that saids that. she replied "will that's what my manger told me" I told her I will call Expedia and I did. When talking to customer services he looked and saw there is nothing said about having to pay an extra charged to book through Expedia. Expedia put me on hold and called the hotel. The hotel agreed to pay me back. Expedia also said he was going to talk to his manger because this needs to be investigate.

• 657patriciak (10/5): Great hotel! - This hotel is easy to find and in a great neighborhood. The staff is friendly and helpful. We were upgraded upon arrival to a Jacuzzi room. The room was huge! The Jacuzzi was great and the bed was comfy. The heated pool looked nice but we didn't use it. The breakfast choices were good. The overall cleanliness of the hotel is good.

• LaDonna (6/5): - We have stayed at this hotel a number of times. The manager is very friendly and recognized us even when it had been months since our last stay. The other employees are very friendly. The beds are not the most comfortable but they are better than sleeping on an air mattress at family's homes. The breakfast is ok but if you get there at 8:45 when they quit serving at 9, it leaves a lot to be desired. We have stayed at other Best Westerns and the options on breakfast is much better. Even the condiment offerings are much better. Others have options of granola bars and fiber bars, many different pastry options and multiple yogurt flavors. Here you get 2 muffin options, and one flavor of yogurt. The only extra condiment you will see besides butter and honey is hot sauce. One place we stay has peanut butter, nutella, regular jelly and low sugar jelly. At this stay, the key card reader to our room did not work, which they stated the last person in the room complained about but they thought someone said it worked. Nope! They did move us to another room. I am seriously considering not staying at this Best Western again.
