• Eldon (8/5): Overall very comfortable and quite enjoyable. - The room was very nice and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the food was very good no matter which dining area a you chose to use. It is a casino, therefore they took all our money before we left. No Mercy.

A toilet, an enclosed shower and a sink with some towels. No hooks to hang anything on. And one of the two phones in the room was not working. The pillows were way too firm. We were, I think, in a King Elite/Suite when I signed up for a King deluxe room. Can you confirm what room 50434 is? Way too big for our short stay of one night.

• Fearless47810367405 (2/5): The Sad End to a once happy place. - Aside from the Illusionist's show in the Arena it was a bland time. The Casino is half staffed and many of the restaurants are either closed or under new management. The security is very bad due to an incompetent employee named Crotchfield. His inability to communicate is making things horrific. It used to be a great place to come to have fun but sadly that's not the case anymore. Everyone is choosing Foxwoods instead. I highly recommend not visiting or wasting your time gambling. Nobody rates your play correctly anymore.

• ramblinvan (4/5): Fire pit party noise well into 2:30 in the morning! - This was my very first visit and paid full price for an Easter week room. Room was on the 9th floor of the Earth Tower with a beautiful view. My wife and I attempted to go to bed at midnight as we were leaving in the morning. The music, yelling and partying at the fire pits below our window (9 stories below!) was super loud. The noise in the room was like the party was next door. I said its a casino, an adults vacation, no kids sleeping give it time it will end. Finally I called the front desk at 1:51am and asked what time does the party end? I even held the phone up so they could hear the music. They said they would send security. 5 minutes later there was brief silence followed by LOUDER music. Again at 2:04am I called the front desk and asked what is going on? They told me security told them "to turn it down". Turn it down? How about ending the noise? Enforcing the no portable radios? What is crazy is that there is a manned security desk in the lobby of the tower near the elevators that is 20 feet from the fire pits with only a glass wall separating. They didnt hear it all night? 2:20am we gave up and tried to sleep. Again this was not a comped room, I paid holiday rates for it! Cant say it was a good first trip. As for the room, shower did not drain so you ended up with tour feet in inches of dirty water. Shower door would not close all the way so you ended up with a flooded floor. Sink would not drain so it took 10 minutes to drain after use. There was a balled up used wash cloth under the sink when we arrived. Ottoman chair had a weird stain on it. We pushed it in the corner. Heat/AC made a loud squealing noise when cycling on and off. I did bring my housekeeping concerns up with the front desk in hopes it would be fixed so another guest does not have to deal with them. Hotel common areas were super clean and well maintained. Staff were very pleasant. They need to either make some fire pit rules or enforce them. Housekeeping needs to take a little more time checking rooms.

• Journey68209211939 (6/5): Be mindful of the school calendar when booking. - My wife and I booked during Easter weekend expecting a pleasant adult stay. We expected this at a Casino /Resort. What we were treated to was a pool of at least 40 screaming , splashing and cannon ball diving children. There was not a sliver of safe haven anywhere in the pool. In addition noticing the ensemble of young Mothers who looked like they were not enjoying being there , on the phone oblivious to the chaos occuring in the pool. My wife and I could not enjoy conversation and decided to get out of the pool when we found ourselves having to scream to converse. The general areas of Casino reminded us of a famous theme park in Florida.We love children and are proud grandparents ourselves. We met quite a few couples of similar age that shared the same experience and concurred as to "why?".Hey it's all good but check the school calendar before booking. I still love Mohegan Sun!

• dsundlof (8/5): Overall, you’ll enjoy your visit to Mohegan Sun - Overall, we love staying over at Mohegan three times a year and rarely have anything negative to say about our stays. I recommend Mohegan to my coworkers. Would love to see the payout schedule changed in our favor and also to get a drink or two as we play slots. The server had one more drink on his tray and turned within two feet of us and I just started trying to order drinks and he walked away despite looking at my wife and I. Bring your own…. Our desk clerk didn’t come across too friendly as we checked in.
• A8043DPpetert (6/5): Check in - Went to Mohegan on Sunday March 16th. Valet was quick and easy. Then came the check in . It was approximately 1230pm when we had valet check in car. We then waited on line and was surprised only to see 2 clecks working the desk. Slowly the line turned into 50 people standing on line. Had to be a hour to check in. Why was only 2 clerks at counter at a 5 star resort? As a person with a walking assistance cane this was way too long and was unnecessary as just having the correct staff assigned all would have gone smoothly. Checked into room staff was under staffed but very pleasant. Room was clean as usual. Went to eat at 2pm at the Shed. Just alittle wait and we enjoyed a delicious lunch. Definitely recommend eating there and will return. Server was excellent. Played slots . Lost every where we went . That’s gambling. Hard to get a cocktail at machines again they were pleasant but under staffed. Is Sunday a day that Mohegan doesn’t believe in handling big crowds? Had room service next morning . Food was good , coffee was terrible. Room service host sent another pot right up to room with apologies and coffee was very good. All in all mixed review but will come back in April for tattoo expo and give another try.

Music is so loud that one can't talk to your guests, parking lot is very dirty. Overpriced gas, and other items. No name tags on Managers or staff. Rooms at times are not heated. Jacuzzi is dirty. Many many times short on staff. They closed the all you can eat buffet. Cheap giveaways gifts. Machines at times do not pay out almost at all. Long lines at the VIP parking. Never get any call back when complaints are made. Unsafe working conditions for employees. Semi-monopoly given by the State makes them keep the give away at very low standards. I went this past Saturday morning and was greeted by people who genuinely took an interest that my experience was a good one. I started at the craps tables , they had three going ..got a spot at one and the dealers were gracious and pleasant and the pit bosses respectful and content . This is a great atmosphere for gaming and people around were enjoying their time . It is clearly not just about winning and losing. Then I played a bit of Black Jack ….they shuffle when the 6 ?… deck shoe is finished the way black jack is meant to be played…Casinos win period. But, if people like myself want to game at slots , craps ,black jack , baccarat or whatever, they can do it in a pleasant respectful environment and Mohegan Sun is a great place for such a time . • AdrianInRI (6/5): Disappointed for the cost - This is my second stay on property at Mohegan Sun. The first thing I noticed was the TV is undersized for the room. It is so small it doesn’t cover the mounting board behind it. The tub had a clog which they did fix the next day. The faucet on the tub was very hard to adjust, most of the time it was cold or hot. i think it’s time to remove the old tubs and put in new showers with TVs that are larger. i wouldn’t normally complain but for $400 a night i expect more.
• 521brucec (6/5): Not worth the price - overly low quality for what it costs - Honestly, the hotel cheaps out on a lot, especially when compared to Foxwoods. We upgraded to a larger room - it wasn't cheap - but everything in it was. You sort of feel like you're staying at a Fairfield Inn quality wise. The nicest things were the kiosk check in so there were no lines and the gym was decent. The rest was overly average and I'd rather stay at Foxwoods - you get more for the same money

• hollya4441 (8/5): Great Stay, Terrible Valet System - Overall, the hotel itself is very clean and nicely maintained. The rooms were comfortable, and the property feels well kept. We stayed here while attending a concert and appreciated how convenient the location was. However, the valet parking situation was absolutely atrocious and is the main reason for my lower rating. Waiting over an hour for your car is completely unacceptable, especially when you’re paying premium nightly rates. It is ridiculous that you cannot leave the hotel in a timely manner because of a poorly managed valet system — with the amount of money charged per night, this should not be an issue. Other hotels do not operate this way. If we stay again, we would absolutely choose self-parking. The hotel itself is nice, but they seriously need to fix the valet system.

• W9327TFnancyc (2/5): Formal Complaint – Discarding of Customers’ Personal Belongings at Arena - My deep disappointment regarding my experience at your Arena last Saturday night during the Chinese New Year concert. Upon arrival, we fully respected the venue’s rules and complied with security instructions by leaving my thermal bottle outside the arena. This bottle was not an ordinary item — it was a birthday gift from my son, purchased in Japan, and holds great sentimental value to me. We clearly informed the security staff that we would collect the bottle after the show. However, to our shock and distress, we later learned that the cleaning staff had thrown it away during the concert. This is extremely upsetting and makes no sense, especially since the security personnel were aware that we intended to retrieve it. I find this situation both unreasonable and disrespectful. While we understand and respect venue policies, personal belongings should not be discarded without proper confirmation, particularly when guests have made it clear they will return for them. I kindly request an explanation regarding what happened and how this situation will be addressed. I hope the management will take this matter seriously and implement measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
• 676lilyh (2/5): Multiple Customer Thermal Water Bottles Discarded by Staff - Had a terrible experience at their Arena last Saturday night. Security forced us to leave our thermal bottles outside (I saw about twenty thermal water bottles outside of the arena), then we found out cleaning staff threw them all away during the show! Discarding customer property instead of using a 'Lost and Found' or a holding table (like MGM Grand does) is a huge sign of disrespect. Beyond disappointed.
• Wood (7/5): - I expected more for the price. My neighbors were very loud and noisy. We called the desk to complain and we also needed a fan. After 2 hours ,a security officer finally spoke to our neighbors! Now it's 3 a.m., and we never did get that fan! Customer service was just ok. They lost my reservation and just put me in whatever room was available. I requested a room in the tower, but that didn't happen. I had to walk half a mile to my room! I was very impressed with the Casino!!

• Jill (10/5): Great time with great restaurants and very clean facilities! - Beautiful clean property and the deluxe king suite was amazing! Wish we could have obtained day passes to the spa, sine the pool was mostly filled with kids.
• carrenac (2/5): Staffs intentionally throw away guests personal items! - I am beyond disappointed with the lack of respect at this hotel. Due to arena rules, guests had to leave their water bottles outside during the concert. Despite knowing we were coming back to claim them, the hotel staff knowingly threw them away. When I confronted them, the staff admitted this wasn't the first time they’ve done this to customers. These items had sentimental value, and to have them treated like trash—by people who admitted they knew better—is completely unprofessional.
• NCtraveler2929 (10/5): Great time - planning next visit. - Fantastic trip and room. We booked a room on the Earth Tower. We found when we arrived we had been upgraded and were shocked at the upgrade (in a great way). We enjoyed our stay so much and were able to stretch out and relax while having convenient access to food and the casino. We usually stay at the other major casino nearby and tried Mohegan Sun. We made a great choice. Also loved how close the hotel is to restaurants outside the hotel even though we didn’t need to go there as the choices were great. While we miss the convenience of the outlet shopping offered at the other major casino, there’s plenty at Mohegan Sun. We are already planning our next visit. If you are military (active or veteran) use the military discount!

• Goodrich (10/5): - Clean and beautiful rooms, staff very helpful and friendly. Modern and well maintained. Something to do and enjoy for entire family. Only minor and i mean minor issue was getting the small tvs to actually work to watch in the short time we were actually in room to relax.
