• Paula (6/5): - The location. You could hear everything through the walls. There is no heat on the air-conditioning that allowed holes through the wall which allowed flies in the room. Maid opened my door before I checked out to clean my room, never knocked and was startled by me standing there brushing my teeth looking them in the face as they opened my door.

• Katlyn (3/5): Stayed for a family vacation during Fourth of July week but the room was dirty, hot and had so many flies. - Location Room was dirty, hot and had soooo many flies.. staff wasn’t friendly and no one ever took our trash or gave clean towels unless we asked for them.

• Shantille (1/5): Would never stay here again. - The pictures were not like the actual motel at all. Old, outdated, humid, gross, sticky, whole upstairs constantly smelled like weed. Not enough blankets, sheets, towels, ac was awful, tv in the bedroom didn’t even turn on. The other tv had only a few channels, couldn’t access Wi-Fi, parking lot got flooded.

But for the price it was not bad you know. the main reason I gave it a 7 is because it looked bigger in the pictures we were a bit surprised when arriving , also the shades were really poor the light in the morning came right through the window and woke us up , and final the window ac made a bit more noise than normal and did not let us sleep properly maybe newer ac machines that make less noise

Too many smokers. Butts in grill right outside door. Dirty chairs poolside. Broken chairs on beach. Coffee bad! No shelf in closet or hangers which made the space only good for towel drying as there weren't ample chairs outside for that purpose.

We put the sign for housekeeping to clean sand in bathroom she put clean towels but left the sand. I asked for a broom they said they would send someone. Never came. Room smaller than pictured.
• Jazmine (1/5): Didn’t stay here, checked out early - Location is great but the photos were deceiving. I booked based off the pictures and thought the rooms were bigger than what they were. The room was the size of a walk in closet. BIG spider in the bed and the outdated tv didn’t work. I tried to get passed some of the flaws and attempted to ask if there was any rooms bigger for my accommodations considering the motel had the “vacancy” sign on. When asking the front desk man, whom was very pleasant, he told me there was no vacancy & the owners expect them to keep the vacancy sign on if the other motels they own have rooms available. I was willing to pay extra for a bigger room and no room was accommodated for me, even at one of these other motels that there may have been availability at. If you aren’t going to allow refunds at check in, the least that could be done is attempting to make a paying customers accommodations. Ended up not staying here, checked out early, & had to book another hotel. I could’ve made it work if there was space and room and the bathroom wasn’t in a closet space. Everything, didn’t stay here. Checked out same day.
• Matthew (8/5): Great time - Great location!!!! Quick walk to beach and boardwalk.. cleaning ladies were great. Definitely would stay again. Just bring extra blankets to cover windows in room, the shades do not block the light!

• FRANKLIN (10/5): - The service and room were great! We got a tour of the entire place, we didn't even know half the things were there our first night including a private beach and a secluded seating area with picnic tables. There are even spots for the staff to put up a hammock for you to lay in on the beach. Staff was great, friendly, and very helpful. This was the best location to stay in Ocean City!
• Brandy (2/5): Other than location, not great, at all - The location was great! The room was tiny and incredibly old. It looked nothing like the photo online. The door looked like it may crumble at any moment. There was an extension cord around the door. The bed was so hard it was impossible to sleep. We planned to sleep in on our last day, but go up (neither could get comfortable enough to sleep) and left early.

• Caitlyn (8/5): The outside of this hotel makes you feel like your on a tropical island! - The location is unbeatable! Views of the ocean, the inlet, and a small beach! We found tons of hermit crabs, big crabs and fish on the little beach. Palm trees, hammocks, a sandcastle playground for kids. Such a cute hotel! It was a little pricey as is most of OC. the room itself was not good quality, odd smells and outdated. So many flies but at least a fly swatter is provided by the hotel lol. Got them out of the room by turning all the lights off and making them follow the flash light outside at night.

I would definitely stay there again. The only down side was the mattress in the pull out couch was extremely thin Take only 1 car, extra parking is not available onsite and extremely expensive

So they negotiated with us and gave us a bigger room for the same $130.00 that room smelled way better and actually had a microwave. I cleaned it, and it was cleaner than when I walked in

• Rachel (5/5): Great Location, Gross Carpet & no coffee maker in room - Loved the layout of the room itself and location of the hotel. Loved having a microwave and refrigerator in the room. Staff was very friendly. Felt safe. Loved the bright bathroom lighting. Excellent a/c. Carpet in room needs to go. Please install room darkening blinds or curtains! When an entire bedroom wall is made of windows, the room darkening blinds or curtains should be the minimum. Please offer comforters and extra blankets in the rooms. The thin blanket included on each bed is not enough for those of us who sleep with more than a sheet at night. Consider replacing the door to the bedroom with a sliding pocket door so it doesn't block the closet when it's open (some of us need to go between the bedroom and closet and it would be easier to do so with a sliding door vs hinged. Allow the option for the outdoor front porch light to turn off. Because the front door has a window in it, it's impossible to block the light out from the porch light outside if you use the sofa bed in the front living area. No coffee maker in the rooms is a big disservice. Especially since these rooms face the water and a lot of people want to wake up in the morning and just sit outside and have a cup of coffee while looking at the water. Having to walk over to the main office to get coffee before being able to sit outside of your room with a cup of coffee takes away from this amenity.

• Diane (5/5): It did the job for what we needed, but for the price it was ridiculous. No way it was worth over $2000 for 4 nights in a - It was walking distance to the boardwalk. The pictures online are very misleading. They do not look at all like the room. The blankets were stained, the linens and towels were old and rough. The couch was dirty, the electrical outlets were flimsy and nothing stayed in them.
• Shannon (10/5): - Had a nice view of the water though separated by a parking lot. Nice little beach area. I rated this as excellent because even though it older and there were a few flaws (tear in the carpet) it was clean and the staff were excellent. Very nice people who are eager to make your stay great. Excellent location. Went for a weekend concert and the walk was very close. This is the 3rd time I’ve been to Ocean City for this concert and this was by far the cleanest place I’ve stayed. We just really need a place to sleep as we are out enjoying what Ocean City has to offer and Oceanic did not disappoint. Small, but what we needed. Would stay here again.
• Kimberly (2/5): - Upon arrival I was not provided with a room comparable to the Expedia listing and instead put into an interior courtyard(ish) room with a group of shady, homeless looking people sitting around. I opened the door, looked into the room and immediately left. It was tiny, dirty looking, bathroom no bigger than my pantry closet. I am still fighting to get a full refund and DO NOT recommend this place to anyone.

• Mark (8/5): We had a great weekend trip with beautiful views, will definitely go again! - Great location with exceptional views of the bay, and you can even see Assateague State Park across the bay. Close vicinity to the boardwalk and local dining options. Not much, we had a great time here on our weekend trip. A lot of guest were fishing off the dock near by and right outside the motel. Unfortunately, we are not a fishing family. But we did enjoy watching people fish. Only thing, it attracted a lot of flys, which entered our room. Room did come with a fly swatter!

Lots of smokers sitting outside in the chairs in front of the room so you can hear the conversations and smell the smoke. I'd never stay here again. Price was reasonable and we made the most of it, but not at all as pictured.
• Jessica (5/5): A beautiful view... - The hotel is right by the inlet, a great spot and a quick walk to the boardwalk. There was ample parking, and the bed was fine. The staff were all very nice, very friendly. As a solo female traveler, I didn't feel as safe as I have at other places. There was an actual key, not a key card. There were no curtains in my room, just mini blinds, and there were gaps that I could see out. I wasn't able to sleep well because I was worried someone would break in. I probably should've asked if they could move me from the ground floor, but it was only for 1 night.
• Jennifer (9/5): Friendly staff, convenient location and always a great place to stay. - We have booked here every summer the last few years and we love the location. We don't move the car once we arrive, you can walk to everything! This is the first year they only allowed 1 car per room. We had to pay a daily rate and then a separate overnight rate every night for our second car. I understand parking is tight but I think if you book a room that can fit 6 people there should be some flexibility with allowing more than 1 car for those rooms. I'm guessing this must be new because I've never had a problem obtaining a second parking pass.

• Venker (10/5): - Location was a block from the boardwalk, beach and rides. They have their own fishing peer with 24 hr fishing and bait and tackle shop. All the staff was extremely nice and accommodating. I do recommend going there we will be visiting again in the future for vacation.

• Theresa (9/5): great price, great location, - the room had a frig and microwave which was great. room was clean. it had an old time beach feel which we loved. the locks are the door were not very strong is the only thing that we were not happy about. oh and the carpet needed a good cleaning.

The bed sheets were not washed when we got there I could smell other people's odors on it. We caught a couple of roaches and we decided to cut our stay short because of that.

Even with the bad weather we had it was nice. I wish it was a little more updated, our door actually had a crack in it and thought it could be kicked in at any second that’s how broken it looked.

While I booked, it said the ocean front view but I didn't get that room. The window AC was too loud and the space between the bed and bathroom is literally zero.

I get most my sunrise and sunset pictures there!! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Of course we'd stay there again!!

• scott (1/5): Stayed with deep regrets - The only redeeming qualities were the view and the proximity to the boardwalk. Extremely small room. Very outdated. Dirty. The photos are definitely false advertising. The only outlets in the room were for TV; a/c, fridge, lamp extension combo (fire code, I'm sure; and bathroom. During my many hotel/motel stays, on average, this would be a $50 per night hotel room, at best--nothing more. My advice is to spend the extra money and stay ANYWHERE ELSE. Listen/Believe the other negative reviews recently and all the ones in the last 3 yrs... ALL ARE TRUE and you'll see them if you stay here..... someone else stated room was size as prison cell. True. Bathroom was size of closet. Only as wide as the provided bath mat. Will NEVER stay here again.
