Guest Reviews
- Amy (9/5): - The room was remodeled and nice. It looks good on tbe outside as well. Nice and clean. The staff assured me it was a safe area. Some of the lamps were very bright. The cleaners they use don't leave the best smell and the location was a little iffy.
- Theresa (10/5): It was wonderful - I would definitely stay again and recommend it!! Nothing
- Scott (10/5): needed an inexpensive place to spend the night on my journey south and this place exceeded my expect - price was a great value for the accomodations this survey
- Jon (9/5): -
- Giulia (10/5): -
- Hughes (7/5): - Close walking distance to good restaurants
- Gary (9/5): It was fine. Excellent value. Very nice room - This survey is too long. Shorter survey

- 44826b11f461715c677c90f556209183 (6/5): - It was really quiet front desk guy was friendly The photos online are not of the actual hotel it's of the building next door so that's big time misleading.
- 9365c8de61d472535c3fed41a408b19e (10/5): - Clean, quiet and close to the softball fields.
- Josh (10/5): My stay was very comfortable and will stay again! - Very clean room and the staff was very friendly and helpful!
- Lussier (7/5): - Staff was friendly and the room was clean Not necessarily the motels fault but someone was smoking pot and it stunk outside. I actually get headaches from the smoke and smell. Actually, I didn't smell it in the room so that part is actually good for the motel.
- laveda (9/5): Great stay - Extremely clean and the remodel was fine nicely. It was better then staying in a big chain hotel in my thoughts. I loved the nice hard bed, my husband did not. The bedding was very soft such wad a nice surprise. Or daughter and grandchildren live in medford and we will definitely stay here again. Husband thought bed was to hard(I didn't lol)
- Meghan (8/5): - Clean and comfortable rooms, cute decor Slitly busy Street but wasn't bad
- Kelli (10/5): Excellent Value. Super Clean. Comfortable bed - Kamal the owner or manager, was very nice and attentive. The decor was fresh and modern. The place was super clean. And I appreciated the Keirug in the room with really good coffee! It took a very long time to warm up the room. And I run pretty warm naturally. Although it was very cold outside
- Olivia (10/5): -
- Jennifer (10/5): -
- Priya (9/5): - Location was convenient, room was clean, price was good. The A/C unit and fridge were loud but otherwise it was a good stay / room
- Robert (1/5): - I made no attempt to check-in. As I drove into the parking lot, I felt unsafe at this hotel! The area was in a bad side of town. There is no way this hotel get a 4.2 out of a 5 star rating. Feel free to call me at 951 906-9460.

Bed ligt verder erg lekker!
- David (8/5): Easy stay, close to freeway and local restaurants, comfortable, and at an affordable price. - Convenient location, clean, coffee, and comfortable bed. N/a
- Brian (8/5): -
- Ernie (10/5): Best place to stay in Southern Oregon - Great room, great location, and staff is super nice and attentive
- Suzanne (8/5): One night stay all good - Clean, convenient, good value Never really had hot water
- Spratt (10/5): -
- Mcrae (10/5): -
- Cassondra (8/5): -
- Bruce (10/5): Quiet, clean, cozy and comfortable. - The unit was just off the freeway in the city center. Quiet and cozy and very clean. Though it is an older motel, they did an awesome job with their remodel. I would definitely recommend them.
- H.A.J. (8/5): -
- Tylan (10/5): - This is my third stay over the last couple of years. Inplan to return
- Kevin (9/5): -
- Michael (10/5): - it waand a great value for the moneys a clean , the way it was decorated was so cool!
- william (8/5): -
- Levin (7/5): - The Cheap price Bad side of town, barely warm water
- Thomas (7/5): -
- Anthony (10/5): - Clean and modern. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was small but it has everything you need for an overnight stay. Easy to get to the airport and several dining options available nearby. Front desk was closed when we checked out so had to text when we left. I would definitely recommend.
- Sarah (9/5): Great value and friendly service, nicely renovated motel - The motel was nicely renovated with a very comfortable bed. Friendly staff The bathroom still had the older stall shower and the neighborhood was a bit rough but super convenient and with lots of restaurants nearby.
- Deb (10/5): - The City Motel is a hidden gem. The manager was very nice & welcoming. The rooms appear to have been newly renovate
- cindy (10/5): - Very clean, super friendly, love the glass and ceramic cups and mugs as opposed to plastic
- Nicholas (6/5): - It was a fine place to stay. The room was small and not well ventilated, but it did have AC.
- Lacey (5/5): - Bed was comfortable Water in the shower didn't get hot, the AC didn't cool the room only right in front of the unit
- Peichung (10/5): -
- Ruslan (7/5): -
- Cynthia (7/5): 50/50 on our stay. May try it again. - Rooms were completely redone and clean. We stayed here 2 different times on the same trip. First time room, bathroom and bed were spotless. Second time the bed was lumpy and the pillows stunk of cigarette smoke. The white comforter was also stained. We departed at 3:30am for a flight and the corner room down from us had their door open. The smell of weed was suffocating!
- Robert (10/5): Older, Well-Maintained Hotel, Central Location - We stayed in room 204 for four nights. The hotel is clearly older though very well-maintained -- will stay again. Room was recently renovated, decent size for our bags (a couple) plus storage for wine bought in the area. Central location for the Rogue Valley, downtown Medford, I-5, and easy access to Hwy 62 for Crater Lake. Great breakfast place on the street behind it (Buttercloud), good brewery less than 10 minutes away on foot (Common Block).
- Marracq (8/5): - It was an inexpensive, clean comfortable room for an overnight stay. The part of town where the hotel is located is not the best. Quite a few homeless and late night activity.
- Nancy (10/5): - Cozy, clean. Newly renovated.
- Peichung (10/5): Make very good use of space. Comfortable and cozy. - Clean
- James (7/5): - Nice people with a nice clean room in a challenging part of town. Definitely not their fault but it is Medford and if you're looking for an affordable clean room this is where you're going to find it. The upside about it is it's close to a lot of decent Chinese restaurants not too far from a couple of steak restaurants and there's a couple of bars you can almost walk to if you don't want to take the risk of driving
- Patcharapa (9/5): -
- William (8/5): - Nice room, not pricey
- Darla (10/5): Would stay again - Check in was very friendly. Room has good amenities and decor is nice. Bed was comfortable.
- Gary (6/5): - It was decorated nicely.
- Cassondra (8/5): - Stay was fine. will stay again in future Room too warm unable to adjust temperature on unit. Not enough cream and sugar for morning coffee provided.
- Thomas (8/5): -
- Lisa (10/5): - This property is owned and run by the people that own it and it certainly shows. They care for like it's their own home in the thoughtfulness of the way they care for this place. I haven't stayed in a motel that was this nice in many many years. I have a new place to call home when I come to Medford. I'll definitely be back here and I'll recommend it to my friends or bring friends here.
- Donna (6/5): - I haven’t been to Medford in a while. Coming in I saw all the homeless, loud cars, people ‘hanging’. I wasn’t scared but felt uncomfortable by myself. I’m glad I didn’t go anywhere! The A/C was loud and only cool. I really don’t like loud fans in the bathroom when you turn on the light. The room itself was clean, I was happy for hard floors and no carpet. I guess I’m not a good picker of motels!
- michael (10/5): - Great place, quaint and friendly.
- Jeffrey (8/5): - Check in time is 4 PM, which is later than expected. However, they allowed me to check in at 3. Rooms are generally smaller, but clean and comfortable. Shower is nice with good water pressure. TV, Refer and Microwave were newer.
- Kane (10/5): - Room was very clean and comfortable!
- Martha (10/5): - It was small and cozy. I liked the “new” updated look. The outside looks old but it was fine. Parking was small
- mark (10/5): - Older motor lodge good value, clean and updated recently
- Michael (10/5): - Great value. The room looks like it has been recently remodeled. It is not luxurious but clean. But this is great for being motel. Everything included, I paid less than $100 a night. It is in the historical downtown area, great location. I just stayed one night so I did not take advantage of the location.
- Tim (8/5): -
- Stephen (7/5): -
- Ernie (10/5): -
- Lynn (9/5): Cute place, great location. - Cute place, great location. We could walk downtown only a few blocks to our favorite restaurant, Misoya. Comfortable bed. Great location for hospital procedures. Construction nearby started early in the morning.
- Don (10/5): -
- gary (9/5): Great stay, very comfortable and convenient to everything in the downtown area. - It’s an older property but has been renovated with fresh paint ..live the colored doors. The landscaping was beautiful with blooming roses…my favorite.! Our room was immaculate ..we had everything we needed . We’ll stay here again. Nothing
- Dan (10/5): -
- Lydia (8/5): - Clean, comfortable, and convenient, with added bonus of Buttercloud bakery just around the corner.
- Darlene (8/5): - The motel is older, but refreshed. It was a quick stopover and adequate for our needs. The room was clean and comfortable.
- James (8/5): - Affordable compared to other options, but could use a refresh 🙂
- Kenneth (10/5): - Motel room has been done with style, nice amenities and a comfortable bed. The towel swans were a nice touch. Customer Service and check in was friendly and quick.
- Carole (6/5): - Comfortable bed. Eclectic decor was a nice touch. Close to good place to eat Common Block. Traffic noise was a bit bothersome. Limited tv selection. Could stand upgrade to Smart tv.
- Martha (8/5): - Nicely decorated, fresh and clean A lot of homeless in area
- Anthony (10/5): - Holy cow and wow! This is an amazing property! Totally impressed with the eclectic theme and style of the property and my room.
The owner left nothing to chance regarding my comfort and convenience!
I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!
- Aric (10/5): - This is a good pace to stay if you want to walk around town. Maybe the best place for closeness. It is a motel so you get motel amenities which is basically none. No pool, no ice machine, no nothing, but the rooms are clean, its one block from downtown and the owners seem nice and friendly. It is family run. Support their business.
- Lord (10/5): I’m very pleased with this choice! I give it an 8.9 - Adorable modern room was small but very efficient and clean. The bathroom light was the bomb! It reminded me of the good old days! Replace the shower head.
- Alfred K J (10/5): Room is not big but includes everything you need. - Clean and comfort.
Rasieren.
- LovesNeon (10/5): What a wonderful little place! - Based on the layout/design and neon signage, this is an older motel--but you wouldn't know it. It is stunningly well maintained and updated. Super clean, everything looked new, cool decor. Even the sheets felt super luxe. Everything updated and nice, but without losing the old-school vibe--and all for a reasonable price. And near things in town. We'd stay here again for sure!
- Gwennie (7/5): Overall good value for a night’s stay passing through the town. - Modern, cute, convenient location. The A/C unit is reeeaaaalllllyyyy loud and right next to the bed.
Pillows suck, must bring our own next time.
- Skylar (4/5): - Air conditioning, no not really, wonky fan setup
Rusty light in shower
Fridge was unplugged
Smoke alarm cover was off
Drawers and chair not really cleaned
Screen door won’t close all the way
Floors and hallways not really clean
No ice machine
Sink didn’t drain correctly
- Daniel (10/5): - Clean reasonable price
- Joe (8/5): -
- Bryan (8/5): - Clean room, very friendly.
- Dietmar (8/5): - Gute Lage, Hübsch gemacht Nichts
- Patrick (9/5): A very pleasant place to stay in Medford OR - Clean room and the staff was great The mattresses are a bit hard. Other than that it was perfect.
- Roseann (8/5): - Very nice layout and met our family's needs. The photos realistically represent the room. FYI: not very teen or kid friendly. My son met my mom at her car to get his earbuds and his sister locked him out goofing around. He yelled her name and knocked on the door. The person on duty came up to us very rapidly and rudely yelling. It was clear to see that we were a family with kids and threatened to kick us out in the middle of the night (10:15pm). He acted as if my mom and son just committed a felony in the parking lot and said if she comes back here he's kicking us out even though the room was for 6 people. Im pretty sure he was on some liquid courage because him being 5 ft tall and yelling at a person a foot taller (my son) must have been on something. Other than that, the room was very nice and the location is close to downtown.
