Rafael (2/5): - very poor communication, the owner's phone number is out of service and communication with expedio is bad, the air conditioning does not work and the lamps do not work and the area is not very safe. I do not recommend it
Gal (4/5): - Somewhat run down (rusty, exposed light bulbs) for the asked price. Would be appropriate for about half the cost. Parking yard is tight and if not managed by the owner will quickly fill up by two cars.

We stayed one night, when we woke up the next morning, there was no water service and they didn't have a water tank. Too expensive for the poor facilities and service. I wouldn't recommend.

Very ignorant owners in the safety for the people. Slippery stairs, falling apart ceiling and hand rails. No lights on the stairs. Will not recommend.
Verified traveler (4/5): - Cons: Not as pictured, false advertising on ocean view and attractions. . No fire alarms, exposed wiring. TV cable hanging extremely low near doorway. Extremely long curtains in doorway, one can easily trip and hurt oneself. Slippery bathroom floor without proper floormats. Cobwebs and mold in drawers. Mouldy shower curtain. No extra garbage bags, nor bath towels. Extra toilet paper seemed to have been dragged on floor. Don't expect complementary soap, shampoo, iron nor blow dryer. No stove top, nor rain shower head as advertised. Pros: friendly customer service. Free Wifi, and movie channels. Great air conditioning free parking.

The kitchen was in very bad condition, even broken drawers and the bathroom walls need to be cleaned. We get there around 12 midnight and leave by 7:00 am because we couldn’t stand longer.

Verified traveler (2/5): Not like the pictures - There were dead bugs on the windowsill. The bathroom mirror was disgusting, the shower wasn't properly cleaned. The bathroom light was falling apart and also stopped working we had to shower in the dark for a few days before we left and no one came to fix it. I saw closets in the room online and there were no closets.

Ann (4/5): - Unfortunately, our apartment had a very musty smell and was not very clean. However, we really liked the landlord. He just bought the building last year and is fixing it up. He hadn't gotten to our apartment yet but he showed us one of the apartments that he had renovated and it was just beautiful. I would stay there again if it was in one of the newly renovated rooms. So don't sell this place short.
Raely (10/5): Great Spot - Had a great time went for a surf contest lots of great surfing spots and also visited la cueva del Indio great location near a lot of restaurants room was comfortable and very homey recommended by me loved it.

Michelle (4/5): Not a real hotel and dirty - This is not a real hotel and was dirty. It is an apartment that someone owns among a few others in a building. No front lobby or hotel services. You MUST call the number in the booking to be able to get the keys for the apartment - plan ahead. We called and the guy was very nice and just needed 15 minutes to meet us with the keys. The address isn't correct - type in Salitre (the restaurant) and then take the next right after that. It's the white building with a blue roof on the corner. At first the apartment seemed okay for what it was, but then we went to bed. The sheets were dirty and there weren't pillowcases, and the bed was very uncomfortable. It was nice to have a kitchen with pots, pans, dishes and a full fridge plus strong AC. Close to beaches, Cueva del Indio, and Arecibo. We really only needed a place as base camp for sleeping and showering, so we weren't looking for anything fancy - just a comfortable bed and a shower. That being said, I would not stay here again or recommend it as it didn't meet those basic requirements.
