• Monika (3/5): Totale Abzocke - Nettes Hotelpersonal. Am kleinen Strand konnte man ganz gut schnorcheln. Die ganze Anlage ist am verkommen. Die Handtücher und das Bettzeug waren zwar sauber, aber zerschlissen und zerlöchert. So etwas nehme ich zu Hause als Putzlappen.... Die Geländer sind abgebrochen oder am zerbröckeln, niemand fegt in der gesamten Anlage und das Pool ist meistens von der Tauschschule besetzt. Die Fotos der Anlage stammen wohl aus der Entstehungszeit, denn die Dächer sind nicht mehr blau, die Wände nicht mehr weiss, alles gammelt so vor sich hin. Im Nachbarbungalow gab es Kakerlaken und bei uns Bettwanzen.... vermeiden Sie einen Aufenthalt im Simple Life!!!!! Jedes Hostel ist besser gepflegt!!!!!
• Sandra Lindebjerg (8/5): Fint ophold lidt dårligt værelse - Det er to hoteller slået sammen og vi sov i den dårlige/ billige del af hotellet. Det gode er man kan bruge den lækre pool ved hotellet. Beliggenheden var rigtig god. Bruseren var ret så dårlig. Der var mange tissemyre inde på værelset som også kom op i sengen på nogle tidspunkter. Lige over for det værelse vi fik var der en bar så der var musik til sent men ikke alt for højt.

• pascal (1/5): - La chambre proposée est vieillotte et de l'autre côté de la route, cet hôtel est composé de trois parties, une partie face a la mer à 100m de la principale et en très mauvais état, une honte, je vais tâcher a la suite de mon descriptif de mettre quelques photos, je devais rester 3 semaines je suis parti au bout de deux jours, deux punaises dans mon lit, cet hôtel devrait être fermé fefinitivement. Mr Delangue pascal de France Hôtel a l'abandon, des gouttières tombes dans le jardin, que personne ne retire, des rampes d'escalier inexistantes et rongés par la rouille, bref je voyage beaucoup, je n'ai jamais vue pire, surtout a éviter !
• Ida-Marie Boel (5/5): Placeringen er god, men billederne snyder! - Personalet var venligt, og overnatningsstedet ligger godt placeret ift. byen. Der var køleskab på værelset. Billederne af overnatningsstedet snyder…Ingen pool eller hav udsigt fra værelset. Man kunne slet ikke gå ned til stranden fra overnatningsstedet, hvilket vi troede. Desuden var poolen på billederne ikke den vi fik adgang til, derimod fik vi adgang til nabo hotellets pool, desuden havde de ikke deres egen reception, så der skulle man også benytte nabo hotellet. Værelset var fugtigt og sengetøjet var ikke helt rent. Vi havde kun et vindue direkte i en anden bygning, desuden lugtede vandet fra bruseren når man brugte den.

• alessia (1/5): Non andateci ! - Nulla Struttura sporca e puzzolente, capisco che non si paghi tantissimo, ma almeno una stanza normale la possono offrire. Appena entri c’è un odore di muffa assurdo, non fa respirare, neanche entriamo e vediamo macchie di non so cosa gialle sulle lenzuola e coperte, ero tentata di cambiare hotel. (In foto si vedono le macchie piccole non volevo ancora toccare le coperte ) Chiedo alla reception di cambiarci le coperte e mentre usciamo (perché non avevamo voglia di stare ancora lì dentro) la ragazza viene a cambiare solo le lenzuola e gira la coperta così la macchia non si vedeva ma era sotto, abbiamo dormito con gli asciugamani da mare sul letto e un copri cuscino igienico usa e getta che ci eravamo portati per fortuna, avevamo paura di prendere qualche malattia! Non so come siano quelle fronte mare, ma se sono così tutte non andateci !!

• Michael (8/5): Had a wonderful stay in Ko Tao - Convenient for diving school and beach.we changed to the rooms at the main resort as they were more premium interiors and closer to the swimming pool which is great. Nothing.
• Rebecca (7/5): It’s a great location, accomodation great for a budget holiday great to have access to some beautiful resorts close by - It was on the beach in a good location and close for doing the day tour to the island, room was clean, bed was comfortable, aircond worked great, small fridge was great, hot water was great and bathroom was great, check in to this hotel was at another beautiful resort down the road and were able to use the beautiful facilities and sit around the pool and enjoy the sunset also, easy place to stay if your diving Needs renovating the building is old on the outside, needs umbrellas for sun beds

• Maria (2/5): Not great at all. Left 2 days early. - All round rubbish. Firstly, impossible to find as the location was wrong on maps. Then we arrive to the sister hotel. They say ours was under construction or something. We were taken across the road, behind a restaurant and up and ally to a crusty block of rooms where we were to stay. The photos make it look much better than in person. They left the door open whilst taking pictures to provide natural light as there aren’t proper windows. Just a couple misted blocks so the room has ZERO natural light. The windows at the back of the room are straight at a dark ally. These had no glass in them, only bug screens so when there is rain it is SO LOUD. My partner woke up in the night asking me why the shower was on. It was the rain. The bathroom door didn’t shut and looked like it had been burnt and melted in a fire…? And the bathroom in general was grimy and leaked. Wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you pay for the expensive rooms perhaps, as they are in the main hotel so I would assume better… I also felt really itchy in the bed and kept getting bitten at night whilst in the room (we didn’t go outside as it was torrential rain the whole time)
• Lia (2/5): Very poor - The location was ok It wasnt very clean and there were noises in the roof, the staff told us its a mouse and were laughing about the situation, there was also a hole in the ceiling. I needed to explain and argue for a long time to get a different room even though there was a mouse in the ceiling!!!

• Elise (5/5): Passable - Great location, especially if you want to try diving through simple life. The property is very dated and didn’t feel especially clean. Also there are quite a few steps to get to the rooms, so keep this in mind if you aren’t good with stairs.
• megan (2/5): - Room I was given did not look like the tidy clean room advertised. There were ants throughout the bed linen, ants on desk, main light did not work, air conditioner could no be turned off or temperature changed so room was too cold. Bathroom tap was broken and shower dripped constantly leaving bathroom always wet and damp smelling. Luckly was refunded for cutting my trip short however refund was hard to attain as staff were unhelpful. Only positive was the pool
• Laura (3/5): Not the best - After seeing the room we changed hotel. This room was just not for us, we didn’t think it looked like the picture, if you’re on a budget or only staying for a short time it’s fine, just not for us personally - very dark and small room
• Laura (4/5): Disappointing and cramped! - We didn’t like this property and once we saw the room we decided to stay somewhere else. We aren’t usually fussy with hotels and properties in Thailand but this one was just disappointing. The room wasn’t like the pictures, so much smaller than pictured and cramped, there was mosquitos in the room as soon as we got there. The bathroom and shower was so small, the shower completely soaked the entire bathroom and toilet when used. This room would be fine for 1-2 nights and if you’re on a budget, but we were staying in Koh Tao for 5 nights and it just wasn’t for us personally. (The hotel across the road was amazing) A lot smaller than pictured, cramped, dark and mosquitos in the room as soon as we checked in. Very small bathroom with a shower that soaked the bathroom when used. We changed our hotel before sleeping in this one so cannot comment on the bed

A lot of bugs inside we even has a mouse in the ceiling and they just expected us to stay there and we had to fight and explain until they let us in another room. Overall we wanted something a bit cheaper but it was not worth it

• Maria (7/5): Good - The hotel is so beautiful bur abandoned. The rooms are not well maintained but is such a lovely and quiet place. We really enjoyed the stay except these facts. For a budget friendly option comparing to big resorts, is ok. The staff is great!!! Needs to be renovated asap!
• Timmy (4/5): DON’T recommend - Our booked room had a smell of mould and had ants crawling around in the room. We told the staff, and they told us to have a look at another room. This room had the same issues, with ants crawling around in the room and in the bed. As the staff couldn’t offer us any other rooms currently, they gave us an ant repellent spray that we could use and told us we could come back tomorrow morning and have a look at yet another room. The sink in the bathroom of the second room was about to come off the wall and was partly covered in mould. There was a pair of glasses and pants left in the wardrobe from the previous guest, making us question the cleaning of the room between guests. The noice isolation was bad and a window panel was missing (which they had just covered with drapes). On the next day, we had a look at a third room, which turned out to be free of ants. However, the wardrobe and hangers still had quite a lot of dust and dirt left on them (they obviously don’t clean the rooms properly between guests), the fan was very dirty, and the towels and bed clothes had stains and holes on them. Overall, all the three rooms felt quite dirty. Additionally, the wifi was terrible and some of the staff acted nonchalant. With the amount that we payed for this room we had definately expected a better standard; this was not worth the money! We’ve been traveling for two months by this time, and we’ve payed a lot less money for rooms that had better standard and was noticably cleaner than this.

• Tony (10/5): - I will stay here again. This accommodation suited my needs. Walk a few steps and there is a bar and restaurants in close proximity. Everything you need is so close. The beach at the bottom of the property. Perfect for those learning to dive or on a solo journey.

Good location in terms of beaches, and the views from the pools were incredible. “Garden view” had no privacy from the pub next door. The room was full of ants and there was a dead gecko under the bed. The bathroom was okay, but the floor wasn’t clean and the shower was like warm.
• Florencia (4/5): Overpriced - Staff are really friendly and welcoming. Location is perfect. This could be a much better hotel if repaired. It looks like it’s falling apart. Beds and pillows are hard as a rock even for thai standards. The bidet was leaking hence the floor was always wet and slippery. Too expensive to be these bad.

• Dorthe (8/5): Overall good hotel but nothing extra - It was a really good room. It was okay size, clean, and had a nice view over the sea. It is close to Sairee and Mae Haad, so it is easy to move around. The staff was really nice and helpful. Very nice overall! There was no kettle in the room to heat water or cups to water. There was also no water provided with check in. It is a very simple room with nothing extra. The pool is always full of divers, but you can use the pool from their more expensive hotel but it is like 4 minutes walk.
• Sillanpää (6/5): - Booked a bungalow for 5 nights. The view was great with direct access to small beautiful beach. The place would definitely need some maintenance. Lots of paint chipping on the walls and crumbling pillars on the patio. I was most disappointed by the lack of room service. After third night I had to ask for it and even then they came late. Overall decent value though I guess
• Jeffrey (10/5): Location and value! - Upon check in i was disappointed with the room and the sea view blocked by trees. However I grew to really enjoy private little beach out the door, pool and amazing sunset. Also the use of the cliff hotel a few doors down. Hotel has no reception and must checkin at cliff hotel.

Lots of places around for food and drink Ants crawling all over room and bed- had to buy ant killer - no toilet paper replaced. Place needs updating and perhaps a bottle of water in the fridge on arrival.

Not as expected from.photos when booking. - Location was in quiet area Room was awful, stained duvet cover, holes in sheets and air conditioning pipes uncovered in places making water drip on the floor. Steep slope to get to front door and tucked away at back. Do not book the Standard Apartment everything was below standard.

The staff were so friendly and helpful with transfers and laundry. There were many bugs in the bedroom. There was no sink in our bedroom. They are in serious need of renovations. Our room was infested with ants. When we spoke with the receptionist about this they did not seem to care however majority of the other staff were very nice and helpful. We upgraded our room and the room was still infested with ants. Although we had a sink this time. Our bedroom was probably worse as we could not shower without wearing flip flops as the bathroom was infested with ants. Ants crawled onto the bed too.

• Shatabdi (8/5): Very good - Beautiful location to spend quality time for couples. Beautiful sunsets are seen from the beach front chalets. The swimming pool is the cherry on the cake as it is mostly empty in the evening. Wonderful staff. The resort is close to sairee beach which is one of the liveliest place in koh tao and can be easily reached on foot.

• Spencer (8/5): - *GPS Location is wrong! Check in at Cliff View Simple Life resort* Nice & cheap stay! It's back behind the Cliff View Simple Life resort, which is super nice. So you get most of the amenities and access to the pool and everything as if staying at Cliff View, just a much cheaper, older room. The breakfast buffet is pretty good and only 250 baht. The restaurant seems to have odd hours other than that. They also offer full laundry service for 50 baht a kilo. That was very helpful. Overall I'd definitely stay there again!

Idk if it they are old pictures and they did a new building but that's not the one. Anyhow, the new stuff is really cool. Also the hotel is on the other side of the street, the rooms are the ones on the pictures but they don't have an ocean view

• tessp236 (4/5): Wouldn’t stay there again - Pros - comfy bed, fridge, air con and location. Cons- the hotel didn’t even have a reception so we spent ages walking around looking for it and eventually checked in using another hotels reception. Very dirty inside, hand prints on the doors/ mirrors, dead bugs/ spiders squashed all over the walls, broken toilet seat, there was a door handle missing, the lock to the actual room was dodgy so was a pain to lock and unlock, poor shower and not a spacious room at all. The first night we were trying to find somewhere else to stay but there was literally nothing available so we ended up staying the duration. However it was cheap and I must add the location was incredible.

The room was very dirty, cobwebs in all the corners of the room, door handles missing, dirty towels, broken toilet seat. Took us a while to find because the reception to check in was in a different hotel down the road which would have been nice to know before walking around with luggage.

The pictures did not match our room and we felt a little hard done by. The price was very cheap but the room was a little dirty and there were ants in there too.
