Monique (4/5): - Geen personeel, goed bed maar matige kamer vol vlekken op de muren en gaten in de gordijnen. Badkamerdeur annex wc kon niet dicht. We waren er twee nachten en er werd tussendoor niet schoongemaakt of handdoeken verschoond. Zou het niemand aanbevelen!

Julian (2/5): Where comfort comes to die - You arrive here on a cold night with that nasty February drizzle. The sign is off, as if the hotel is trying to hide from its own existence. If Lady Luck smiles upon you, there's a parking spot around the corner. The revolving door doesn't revolve. A diligent concierge lets you in after a few minutes. Treat him well; he's a good fellow. The reception area is India having a nervous breakdown in Germany. Curry permeates your clothes while Punjabi electronic music assaults your eardrums. The elevator sometimes works. The sign says it fits six people, but I could barely fit alone - typical German efficiency in packing bodies. I took the comfort room. Never was a name more appropriate. First thought: "Well, it could be worse." You could be in a Caracas cell or a Cadillac trunk. The bathroom is clean with hot water. The shower head hangs like a crypto investor after FTX. Fix it with a shoelace or USB cable. The room is a '90s throwback. The bed was designed by a drill sergeant with a vendetta against comfort. The triangular pillow requires neck gymnastics. Choose between covering shoulders or feet with the short blanket. They claim soundproofing, but you'll hear your neighbor's every biological function. Perfect if you're paranoid - you'll hear everything in the building. Breakfast: military-style eggs and sausages. No condiments - bad for health. Ralf (8/5): - War sauber alles.. Zimmer war groß und soweit alles OK Frühstück war gut und ausreichend. Aber leider nur bis 9 Uhr geöffnet ausschlafen Fehlanzeige müsste geändert werden... Was auch nicht besonders war ,war der Zigaretten Geruch auf dem Fluren in den Stockwerken müsste unbedingt Abhilfe geschaffen werden ...ist ein No-Go für nicht Raucher und Nichtraucher Hotel ... Ansonsten Preis Leistung alles okay
Johannes (6/5): Don’t trust them. Vertrau niemanden. - Ich überlege, das Hotel bei der Polizei anzuzeigen! Einen Tag vor meinem Urlaub hatte ich einen Autounfall mit Totalschaden. Aus diesem musste ich einige Sachen aus dem Auto nehmen und zu mir (nach Bayern) per DHL zusenden, da sonst mein Gepäck zu schwer wäre. Ich hatte der Rezeptionistin 20€ gegeben und sie darum gebeten, das Paket bitte bei DHL aufzugeben. Nach meinem Urlaub war kein Paket da. Trotz mehrmaliger Kontaktaufnahme kommt keine Antwort. Sie nehmen keine Stellung und ignorieren mich vollkommen. Schade… Diesem Hotel würde kein Vertrauen schenken.

Susan (8/5): - Ich musste außerhalb der Rezeptionszeiten einchecken. Der Mann der mich eingecheckt hat, konnte nicht mal deutsch oder englisch sprechen, fande ich jetzt nicht sonderlich gut. Aber das es die möglichkeit gab spät einzuchecken war wiederum gut. Frühstücksbüffet war sehr gut, viel Auswahl und lecker.

Snootyfoxchic (6/5): Acceptable - but with reservations. - This hotel provides an acceptable standard of accommodation and the service was generally satisfactory. There were some negative elements to our stay, however. On checking-in we were given information about the time of breakfast, which turned out to be incorrect. We arrived at 9am only to find that all hot food had been cleared away and all that was left was a small selection of cereals, cooked meat and cheeses. The following day, having established the correct time breakfast was served, we found a good selection of hot food in addition to the cold meats, cheeses etc. The other negative, which is of more concern, is that an unopened bottle of perfume (still in its plastic wrapping) in a duty free bag ‘disappeared’ from our room. Whether it was mistakenly cleared away when the room was cleaned or (hopefully not) it was ‘appropriated’ by someone I cannot say. We contacted the hotel who informed us that ‘nothing had been found’. I have travelled extensively over many years and this is the first time I have ever had anything disappear from a hotel room. I am not in the habit of leaving negative comments but I feel it is important to draw attention to my experience at this hotel.

Wolfgang (8/5): TOP - einfach TOP sehr schön renoviert und sehr gut eingerichtet. leider hatte der haustechniker die defekte lampe im übersehen. das frühstück ist oberlekker!!! unser großes lob: sehr fleißige servicemitarbeiterinnen!!! leider ist das frühstück schon 9 uhr beendet. der nachttüröffner ist etwas ungünstig angebracht. hier könnten hinweisschilder für noch mehr zufriedenheit sorgen. top preis-leistung mit sehr guten service. alles gute für alle und wir kommen sehr gern wieder
Andreas (10/5): - In dem einfachen Hotel haben wir eine ruhige Nacht verbracht. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren sauber, die Betten echt komfortabel. Um die sehr warme Nacht angenehm zu verbringen, befand sich ein Ventilator im Zimmer, der das Zimmer kühlte. Das Fenster sollte man besser nicht öffnen, da es morgens aufgrund der Hauptstraße lauter wird! Das Frühstück war ausreichend! Wurst, Käse, Marmelade, Rührei, Cornflakes, diverse Brötchen, Toast und mehrere Kaffeesorten. Wir wurden satt, um in den Tag gut zu starten. Schattige Parkplätze sind direkt am Haus. Zum Deutsche Bank Park sind es mit dem Auto ca. 10 Minuten. Mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ist es allerdings umständlich und langwierig (ca. 45 - 60 Minuten). Wir waren insgesamt zufrieden mit unserer Wahl.

Verified traveler (2/5): careful!!! - Can’t say much. Booked this hotel and payed straight away. On confirmation letter it was saying that front desk is working until 23:00 and I arrived 21:00 doors were locked and receptionist wasn’t there waited 30min and tried to call phone number which was left on the entrance doors but nobody answered to me. Random german people tried to help me but they couldn’t since nobody answered phone. Had to leave and go to another hotel. Shame to them since I was so tired after 6hour flight and had to wake up early in the morning coz I had meeting to attend. I still on the trip and can’t wait to see if they returned money I payed. By the way! On the door was left message that receptionist will come to work next day afternoon... what kind of service is that?! People be careful!!!

Christian (10/5): Immer wieder gerne in diesem Hotel zu Gast - Auch eine Anreise nach 22:30 ist problemlos möglich, da ein Schlüsseltresor vorhanden ist. Parkplätze kann man sich mit ebenfalls reservieren lassen gegen Gebühr und Pfand für die Fernbedienung. Getränke kosten 0,5l nur 2 Euro im Automaten und in der Minibar. Personal top freundlich. Was will man mehr.
Michael25719 (10/5): A place full of love - I came from China to join a race in Frankfurt, and we had a stellar experience. Im staying in hotels 20-30 times a year. And the service level was one of the best I have ever seen! The team was offering solutions to problems we have not even been aware of. Not talking about the special service to provide breakfast at 4am.

Verified traveler (8/5): - Eingangsbereich mit langer Glasfront und mehreren Türen etwas irritierend, zumal die große Drehtür nur in den Aufgang führt. Aufzugsanlage veraltet - I.Ü. aber PERFEKT: fürsorglicher Empfang, sauberes Zimmer mit für mich sehr gutem Bett (feste Matratze) und einladendem Bad (da dusche ich gerne). Frühstück am Wochenende erst um 8 Uhr, aber alles was ich mir wünsche! Das Ganze ist recht preiswert, Parkplätze vorhanden, Bus zur S-Bahn - alles da. Das habe ich weiter empfohlen.

Jörg (8/5): Gutes Preis-/Leistungs-Verhältnis - Die eigene Beschreibung des Hotels, gibt im wesentlichen genau meine Erfahrung wieder. Insbesondere die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals möchte ich hervorheben. Zwei Dinge fehlten mir, ein Kühlschrank im Zimmer und ausreichende Beleuchtung (fehlt mir aber in den meisten Hotels!).

markaL7140SN (6/5): Perfectly good hotel - We spent the night here the night before catching a flight out of Frankfurt. I booked the room online and it seemed like a decent place. The room was decent, neither especially good nor bad. I do remember the lobby smelled very smoky, but fortunately, the smell did not extend into our room. Breakfast, which is included free of charge, was pretty typical; I enjoyed it. The hotel staff spoke good English and also, the hotel had a small parking on the side of the building, which was nice. The hotel is within walking distance of several restaurants, all in the center of town. Overall, it was a perfectly good place, but I can't think of a single thing about the place that was above average, so I give it 3 stars.
Anne (10/5): Clean, quiet, great service. - I give the hotel a top rating for service. The front-desk staff was unfailingly helpful. I especially appreciated being able to take breakfast way past the posted hour. I had overslept due to having flown all night the day before. The staff was cleaning up the breakfast room, which I understand, but nonetheless asked me whether I wanted coffee prior to dismantling the coffee machine. A nice touch! I will note that the internet service isn't 100%. I had to use the internet from the lobby on the evening of my arrival. But this phenomenon is one I see a lot in small hotels in Europe. Not a big surprise. In the room, all was in order. Just what I needed after a long journey: a comfortable bed and a good shower. I was not looking for charm. The hotel is just a tad off the beaten path in that it lacks a direct connection to downtown Frankfurt. It does, however, have a direct bus from Frankfurt Airport. That was more important for me. There are nearby stores to supply any travel essentials that one may have forgotten to pack. Also some inexpensive but decent-looking restaurants.
Achimjo (4/5): Not a good place to stay in summer - There is no air conditioning, no minibar or even shutters. The only thing protecting you from the sun are curtains (that get really hot) and a fan. If you have a room facing the main road you have a lot of noise at day and night. The shower was very spacious, it looked like once someone planned to put in a bathtub but decided against it in the last minute. Breakfast had a good variety, but wasn't special.

Sudoku2310 (4/5): More like a hostel - Stayed two nights on a business trip with many other colleagues. The hotel staff are lovely... however... A) the room is like student accommodation B) do not stay in room 319- the wifi does not reach that far! No action was taken despite complaint made. C) the bed mattresses are old and uncomfortable- woke up with back pain D) electric sockets were not working- had to charge phone in bathroom! E) tiny tv- wasn't plugged in and was impossible to connect F) no water in room and no where to purchase bottles either Not a good place for business trips! The town is dead in the evenings, so without wifi and poor facilities- it was not a good choice of hotel.

ciaram709 (8/5): Good would stay again - Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for 3 nights and I would definitely book again if we go back to Frankfurt. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel was quiet also. I was impressed with the wifi also and we had no issues with internet connection. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. I was quite concerned about the staff before arriving to the hotel because the woman on the phone was quite rude and cut me off a lot, wanting to end the call quickly, but despite that, when we arrived we were happy with the other friendly staff. The distance to Frankfurt hauptbahnhof is just a 20mins bus ride from outside the hotel and then S3 or S4 from the bahnhof. Overall, we were happy with our stay, good value for money and can't complain 😊

Bathroom standard Room and bathrooms close to very old and need renovation Breakfast very sober with fresh bread very hard boiled eggs. So not the hotels I should recommend for business travelers. Staff friendly. And that Italian sequella coffee is really fat to south Italian taste. Far too much robusta so not my "cup of tea".... Not enough parking space for guest

GlobeTrotter_AIL (6/5): Acceptable, not great for business travellers - Hotel is located in the city center of Dreieich. The locations is convenient for business travelers visiting local companies south of Frankfurt. Service is acceptable, and breakfast is okay. Rooms are also okay, even though furtntue is aged. Biggest problem seems to be Internet connection. My WIFI connection was agonizing slow, and I lost the connection several times.

Verified traveler (8/5): Away from city center, but not too far away - Arrived late and left early, so didn't see much of facilities. Breakfast was OK. Night receptionist very very friendly. Hotel is a bit out of the way for public transport, but if you can live with trains only being hourly to Frankfurt Hbf, then the train station is only a 5 min walk away, and there are also busses to the city nearby.
M124nda (8/5): Weekend break - Clean rooms. Good shower. Tea and coffee and fridge in your room. , friendly staff and good breakfast. Would stay again. Free parking. Only downside would be the glass bathroom door and street light shown through into the bedroom.
TravelFrJ (6/5): OK - Stayed in this hotel for business. Its clean and good value. But the rooms are very very small and kinda noisy and could use a refreshment. Room had a Television, but its a 14" CTR, so quality was not amusing The breakfast was very nice.
hrist0y (2/5): Never again - On the outside - normal looking hotel in a central location. On the inside, though - depressing little lifeless rooms. Elevator can barely fit 2 people. Cold! The hotel provides only some basic, thin bed sheet and after midnight they turn down the radiator temperature centrally! Before sunrise, they turn it on again, to create the illusion that it was working all night. Breakfast is ok - hence, one star. The hotel (I think it should be called hoStel) costs as much as a nice hotel such as Turm hotel, which is where I advise you should go instead. Internet access has some funny issues, but there is a possibility it could be my laptop. Walls are paper thin and you can hear yelling, loud conversations and what not.
DresdenDean (8/5): Friendly service, good hotel. - The hotel L’Escala is a medium sized hotel in the center of Dreieich-Sprendlingen. The rooms are comfortable, clean and reasonably spacious. We found the staff to be very welcoming and courteous and were able to speak very excellent English. They were helpful when asked about the local area and offered suggestions on places of interest and local restaurants worth visiting. We took their advice and were never disappointed with any of their suggestions. Breakfast was served every morning and it was the usual Eruo-breakfast one would find in most hotels. The quality was excellent with an very good assortment of fresh baked bread…I assume these come from the bakery right next door to the hotel as they were warm and tasty. There was very good variety and all items were kept well stocked. If I have any criticism, it is with the room. As I indicated earlier, the room was very comfortable. However, there are a couple of basic elements I expect to find in a hotel room of any reasonable quality. The first element is a fridge. I was surprised to find that the room did not have a small fridge. I do not make a habit of raiding the minibar in hotels I visit, but I do appreciate having a fridge available in the event I want to keep drinks cold or to keep any left over food I might want to enjoy later in the evening or the next day. The second item was the lack of a proper television. The room did have a TV, but it was a tiny tube-style TV. With the ubiquity of flat panel TVs and in price ranges that are affordable, I would expect any hotel room to come equipped with at least a 32inch flat panel mounted on the wall with a basic movie package and news channels. I do not make it a habit to check into a room and sit and watch TV all night long, but I do enjoy watching news channels like BBC and CNN when I have time. That said, the free wi-fi was reasonably strong and did provide the Internet access I needed. Over all, L’Escalla is a very good hotel and I would recommend it to anyone coming to the area for business or to tour.
Glencheck (6/5): Good stay for business going to Frankfurt - We stayed at the L'escala for one night, service was good, clean and comfortable rooms. We were offered a coupon for the bar which we didn't made use of as we were invited at friends home. Free wifi available, get voucher at the counter. Would recommend this hotel as a good stay if you have to do business in Frankfurt and want to avoid the crowded downtown. Nice italian restaurant L'antipasto just 300 meters away (see review).
wijzijnraar (6/5): Very basic hotel - Being in town for a week of education it would have been nice to have a little bit more cheerfull hotel, but this one also does the job. Rooms are quite basic, with not much possibilities, no minibar. The hotel itself has a lounge for guests (and neighbors) to have a drink in, but mostly it is the personell that is hanging out there. Breakfast is well equipped! Would not recommend this for anything else but business travel.
MartinH641 (4/5): Very Basic and Cheerless Rooms - I stayed here for two nights as the Mercure hotels in the area were both full. The staff here are very nice and welcoming but the room was very basic indeed and not comfortable at all. There is free wifi and a simple breakfast, but after that i am struggling to think of any positives. I pay less at Mercure Neu Isenburg and get much better value and more comfort.
traveller_spain (4/5): basic hotel in Dreieich - I spent 4 nights at this hotel during a businnes meeting in Dreieich. Overall is a basic hotel (should have 2 stars), with big rooms although look dated, free wifi, has no extra services of other hotels in the area like gym, sauna, ... and breakfast is very poor, while prices are similar to other hotels in the area where I stayed in other trips. Advantage is that is in the city center and you can go walking to restaurants, shops, etc.
