- Garett (10/5): - Heather and Attie (pronounced Ottie) were very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in room 2, the shower is on the small size, which for my wife and I was not an issue but for some people it would be a bit tight. Breakfast was good, and coffee was great. They have been doing this for a while and it shows in their attention to detail. This was our first and won’t be the last B&B experience. Rooms have a lock on them and their entrance door also has a lock and they said some people question why? Our question is why wouldn’t you want locks on the doors. My only suggestion would be to have a power bar in the room for charging electronics. My wife and I each have an iPhone, ipad and Apple Watch so charging can be an issue, but we made out okay as we just unplugged the hair dryer and used that outlet. they are right on the harbour and we had an excellent view of the harbour. When we come back to Digby we will definitely stay here again.

Not many other amenities overall along the main waterfront strip. The room was clean and spacious. We stayed in the Harmony Suites at the rear of the property. Quiet and pleasant however just a continental breakfast included.

Had a little problem when checking in but it was graciously remedied. We booked a main floor suite but actually there are quite a few steps so beware if you have problems navigating steps. Otherwise it is a great B&B. They give you bread, muffins, yogurt, bananas, coffee & peanut butter & jams to take to your room so you gave have breakfast in the comfort of your room. I have posted pictures of the stairs to the "main floor" & the 2nd floor.

- Barb (10/5): - Harmony B&B was a perfect spot for an overnight stay after arriving home to NS via The Cat ferry. We were warmly greeted and given assistance to park and carry luggage to our room. Room # 2 was lovely - spotlessly clean and well appointed with TV, WIFI, shower and lavetory with a sink conveniently placed so that one could shower while another was free to complete ablutions at the sink in the room. We slept well in the very comfortablle bed and were treated to a breakfast that was beyond all expectations. Juice, fruit cup with yogurt, scrambled egg, bacon, sausage and french toast with syrup and lots of richly flavoured coffee. Following breakfast we had a lovely chat with the owners - Heather and Artie. Rest assured, if you choose Harmony B&B you will have a wonderful experience. We will be sure to book this spot whenever we have a stay in Digby. Barb & Sandi

It was going to rain the next day so they upgraded us to a suite for no charge just in case we had to spend a day in the room! We decided to stay for 3 nights and they insisted we have the upgrade for all 3 nights. The rooms were very well maintained and comfortable. It was quiet. We had a hot breakfast every morning. We would definitely recommend and will return.

Since returning from our trip, I have sung their praises to everyone that is thinking about a nice vacation in Nova Scotia…there is more to do in Digby that we imagined. We stayed in a beautiful suite on the second floor that had a balcony with a partial view of the water and overlooking a garden. The lovely suite we stayed in (#8) has a king-sized bed, wonderful linens, a sitting area with a sofa, big bathroom and a kitchenette with a table and fridge. There was even milk and creamers to go with the coffee and coffee maker (details!!). Great set-up if you need a little more room and want to have snacks and drink in your room, a continental breakfast with lots of homemade goodies is also provided in the Suites. There is an outdoor sitting area with a garden and is close to EVERYTHING! Across the street is the tourist information centre and outdoor market (Fri / Sunday). There are pubs and restaurants all within walking distance. The proprietors were lovely and so helpful to answer all our questions. If you want a comfortable, clean, central location I highly recommend. They also have an accessible suite for folks that cannot do stairs (I checked for my mom)😊.
