Guest Reviews
- Kelly (5/5): - Location The room had ants alot of them.in bathroom and old food in drawer of desk pillows were flat as can be but owner very nice and polite
- Ian (7/5): - Location was perfect for us. Right in the middle of the places we wanted to go. Some small damage to the bathtub and we found someone else's underwear down the back of the nightstand.
- Karyn (9/5): Would recommend for a budget friendly stay. - Spacious room, fridge and microwave provided. An extra blanket on the bed would have been nice.
- Bethany (9/5): Clean unit, very good value! - Great location (I was visiting Pelee for birdwatching), great value for the price. Unit was very clean with adequate towels/blankets. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Adequate free parking. Only problem was that the air conditioning unit was very loud! It would wake me at night when it cut in. (Better than not having one though, it was a small issue)
- Ted (7/5): -
- Anthony (8/5): - Rooms are very clean and bathroom was modern and efficient.
- Robert W. (8/5): - Great, rustic on the outside but very modern on the inside of the room.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Not great - The location was ok but it looks like no one had used the room in a little while. Kind of dusty and had quite a bit of ants.
- Gary E (8/5): Clean, convenient, good value, and the proprietor is friendly and helpful. - The proprietor is usually on site, and very helpful. We have stayed there several times. Good value, clean and convenient. There was not a single drawer or similar place to put anything "away" (out of sight) if leaving the room. Otherwise, all fine.
- Francis (8/5): - It was clean
- Kaizhong (10/5): -
- Leanna (6/5): Great location great price - Proximity, close to car and bikes on rack Minimal furniture inside
- Misti (9/5): Superb - I liked the option for TV to put my own Netflix on. The price is also very good compared to places around! The only issue I had was really the parking is a bit stressful.. Not enough room to get out.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - An okay inexpensive motel. Clean and relatively quiet except the door hinges to Room 2 needs to be oiled.
Good luck trying to watch anything on the TV.
- David (10/5): - Convenient location - ten minutes to entry gate at Point Pelee NP (20 minutes to visitors’ centre). Close to fast food, groceries, fuel. Free parking available. Double Queen room was very spacious, included full-size fridge/freezer. Daily housekeeping was included. Had a bulb burn out one morning and it was replaced within 10 minutes.
- Glenn (7/5): Good -
- Lynn (7/5): Good - Clean, seemed to be renovated not too long ago. Fairly large room, comfortable bed. Fridge made quite a loud running sound for long periods of time.
- rosanne (10/5): - Owner and s so nice and upgraded us to a beautiful refurbished suite. Stayed there 3 years in a row. its a great stay!
- Sarah (8/5): Very good - Bed was comfortable, room clean, price affordable
- Joan (6/5): - The bed was too high to get into
- Simone (8/5): - Clea
- Richard (8/5): Very good -
- Jay (8/5): - Huge room. Clean and comfortable.
- Winter (8/5): Very good -
- Patrick (7/5): OK if you only need a roof over your head and will be out all day - One of the cheaper options if you are going to the Birding Festival and are going to be in Point Pelee National Park all day and only need a roof over your head. Fridge and Microwave in room if required. Room was hot so a noisy air conditioner was required
- Nancy (6/5): - The bed was too high & the one lamp had a dirty shade. Otherwise it was quiet & felt safe.
- Nick (10/5): - Right in the middle of town close to everything
- Douglas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mabong (8/5): Very good -
- Ann (10/5): - Clean place to stay for a reasonable price!
- Gurvinder (10/5): Exceptional -
- Teodora (10/5): - Stay with my husband for one night to meet my nephew and nice,Its a quite place parking is infront of our door 7eleven is closed if you want coffee tim horton is there. We might come back again.
- Randolph (10/5): - The motel is older at an exterior glance, but my room was nicely updated. The bathroom was clean, the shower had excellent pressure and the bed was comfortable. As a short stay motor court motel, it fit my needs. I suppose a coffee maker would have been nice, but there is a 7-11 directly adjacent, making hot coffee, 24 hours daily.
- Phil (8/5): Very good - The room was huge and had been recently repainted and refitted. The bathroom, kitchen sink, lights etc all seemed like new. It was bigger and better than I had expected.
- Barbara (8/5): Nice clean motel to stay if you want to visit Point Pelle Provincial Park. - Very clean room and washroom. Fridge, microwave and little table with two chairs inside room. Very close to Point Pelee Provincial Park. Discounted Caldwell Gas & Variety gas station nearby. Lots of grocery stores close by. Very friendly owner. Beds were a little bit too high so for tall people it shouldn't be an issue, but someone small might have some problems. Not sure if all beds are the same.
- Kim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gabnai (7/5): Good -
- Eric (7/5): Functional and convenient- for Pelee Island trip the next morning - Nice rooms - inside.
Location ok. First assigned room:
Broken door.
Tv problem.
- Jon-pierre (7/5): Good - The room was clean and spacious The only issue was lack of sufficient bedding
- Douglas (7/5): Good - Location Room could use a bedside lamp.
- danielle (10/5): - Host were also great
- Helen (10/5): - Friendly, clean, quiet and convenient. A very pleasant stay.
- Sandra (9/5): Superb -
- Yingru (8/5): - The air conditioner is too loud
- Kajal (6/5): Pleasant -
- Heather (10/5): Exceptional -
- Colin (9/5): Superb - Clean very large room and full sized fridge Designated parking spots
- Mcewan (10/5): Exceptional - The size of the room was very spacious, definitely enjoyed my stay there.
I will be booking with them in the future.
- Lori (8/5): Very good -
- Albert (10/5): - It was so easy to find - close to where we we going. I am too short for the bed,so they got me a stool. And they gave us a two-room suite instead of what we paid for - much better for my husband and myself. Didn’t know hoe to use the t.v but that didn’t matter - too tired anyway. Lots of noise around but I don’t think they could help that. Overall, thank you very much!!
- John (10/5): - Very nice but simple
- Ricki (5/5): A $60 dollar motel that charges $160+ per night? - Room was very spacious. Water pressure was good, lots of hot water, AC worked very good. Cold fridge and freezer. The door knob was on its way out so it was hard to get it open. Both the locks barely worked. Beds were really hard. Carpet was dirty and the sheets on the box spring were covered in disgusting stains some of which definitely looked like pee stains from a dog perhaps.
- Gary (8/5): Very good - It was quiet, proprietor is helpful and friendly. Good value, good location.
- Gary (6/5): - Friendly staff. Worked well for an overnight stop.
- Al (4/5): Disappointing - room looked and smelled like a 1star motel...which it is
- Chongfu (8/5): Very good -
- Manuel (8/5): - The room was clean. Easy parking.
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional - The room was very spacious and very clean and the staff was friendly
- Allwyn (8/5): - The Owner (Varun) was kind and helpful, surrounding area nice with plenty of food options available, overall affordable.
- Helen (7/5): Good -
- Tony (10/5): - Spent 3 nights in May 10-13 birding in Peele. I chose this Motel as most reviewers said it is clean and the price is comparatively more reasonable. The other hotels I used to stay are now asking for $300-400 a night. I am happy with my stay. The room is clean. The bed is comfortable. The staff is friendly.. It has a microwave, a large fridge with freezer. Will return next year.
- Laura (4/5): - The kitchen was incomplete. No cutlery, no dishes,no pots and pans etc. I couldn’t deal with this so left after one night!!!
- Richard (7/5): great satff and location ideal for birding pelee area - staff were great, extra pillows offered and delivered when requested garbage emptied daily when bed was made. lots of stores and restaurants nearby base sheet on bottom of bed had coffee stains could do with replacing/washing
- Sandra (10/5): - Very clean
- Christian (8/5): Good - Very clean, people are very nice. Price too high for a 2 star, but I knew when I reserved.
- Emily (2/5): - Manager insisted we pay the entire amount (3 nights) right away when we check-in, not allow to change our mind to stay only 2 nights, he said because we booked through Expedia. There was not even a coffee machine, no kleenex, needed to ask for a box of kleenex, there was no paper cups for hot water, only 2 plastic cups (for brushing our teeth) in the entire room. Needed to ask for paper cups. They are charging us $256/night with this kind of amenities? Bath towels are as thin as wash cloth. Blanket very thin. The only ok thing is the shower.
- Belowus (8/5): Good - Price and location Bed was too hard
- Neil (8/5): - Good price. Offensive garbage odour outsid of unit.
- Todd (8/5): - Manager was fantastic, he was polite, personable and accommodating. He even offered me a free room upgrade, likely in part due to the fact that the property wasn’t full, but still, that went a long way with me and I would look this property up if I am back in the future.
The room was pretty clean, the beds were reasonably comfortable but the pillows could use replacing. Overall this property was very good, not the Ritz but good value for the money!
- Charmaine (2/5): Very poor - Not clean
- Richard (7/5): Pretty good value - Location was great as was the price. I would have liked a coffee maker and coffee in the room.
- Brian (10/5): - It was vety good
- Stephen (10/5): - Everything was perfect. Staff was lovely.
- Leo (6/5): - the room was a bit to warm
- Chris (8/5): great place to stay at a reasonable rate - the location was great good for the one night stay while I visited my family the furniture
- John (10/5): - It’s a motel so it’s obviously not luxurious but it was very clean very quiet and peaceful. We needed one night and we were leaving 6:00am so we didn’t want to pay no absolutely ridiculous $300 per night Days Inn rate so this was perfect. If you just need a place to stay this is nice. Stove, full fridge, microwave and 7/11 right next door.
- Margarita (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kevin (7/5): Good -
- Alan (5/5): Way too little for $120 plus tax. - Nothing No ice. No coffee maker.
- Stephanie (7/5): Good solid safe reliable - The bed was so good!! It was very nice inside. For some the location is great close to everything for me? A wee bit of a busy area
- Debra (1/5): Bad - No mention of coffee or breakfast. The people in the room next door were loud and drinking alcohol, sometimes outside their room for hours. The place was overpriced.
- Marvin (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ahmad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniel (6/5): - Bed was to high
- Ethan (6/5): Pleasant - Full kitchen Last guests food still in the fridge
- Mccafferty (6/5): Pleasant -
- Denise (7/5): Fairly quiet, good wifi, friendly staff, good water pressure - Air conditioner worked well, bed was comfortable No coffee maker or kettle but 7/11 is next door
- Bert (2/5): Very poor - It was clean Property was unkempt, bare minimum amenities in the room, bed was old and uncomfortable
Not worth half the money we spent.
It was not a good experience.
- Przemyslaw (7/5): Good -
- Sahar (10/5): Exceptional - The size of the room. and the receptionist If was breakfast included
- David (6/5): The hotel is ok? Did not like the town. Not really for tourists. - The room had been upgraded. Need more than one pillow.
Location very close to busy industrial area.
