• WANDA (1/5): Disappointed at the very least - Nothing We specifically got this room for having 3 beds and was pet friendly. The was wat too small for our needs. It had only 2 beds, iffy wifi, no coffee pot. The staff was very rude and then stated they told Booking.com they discontinued larger rooms years and Booking.com and then refused to make the necessary updates to site

No USB ports available, no CFI outlets around the sink area and what is this that they charge an extra $6 or$7 to have toilet facilities avaiable?? The refrigerator/freezer had ice 3 inches thick on it!
• Tania (2/5): - The restroom, toilet and Zinc had hair and pee, it looked like it hadnt gotten clean but I didnt tell them nothing cause we were so tired from a long trip and just needed 4 hrs of sleep to continue our trip next morning but will not be ever staying at one of this, it was gross and nasty, If I could get my money back I would love to kuz not worth even $20 and breakfast, juice was rotten and coffee makers ice machines everything looked nasty nasty

We saw the cleaning lady smoking cigarettes when cleaning the rooms the day we arrived. They struggled to find us clean towels. I requested 2 rooms with the couch pull out and they could only give me one. I explained I booked it on here and it showed available. Do not look under the bed, grotesque.

We just wanted a good nights rest and a shower before drivi - The housekeeping staff repeatedly tried to get in our room before we had even gotten up, they also stood outside our door at 7:00am and were calling out to each other while we still were trying to sleep. When we tried to shower, there was no hot water. They said they had run out of LP gas, and would talk to the manager about compensation when he got in. I never heard from them…..

The room was disgusting, there wer Cigarette burns in the sheets and comforter, there was a crap ton of dust on the top of the TV stand, there was also a crap ton of dust on the table I wrote hi in the dust and took a picture. There was Cigarette smoke across the ceiling, a burn mark over the door and hair on the bathtub wall and we had not been in the shower, the curtains were torn, There were no tissues, the door frame of the bathroom looked like it had been chewed by a dog and never fixed, No fitted sheets & the windowsills had yellow (Cigarette smoke stain) stains all over them. The night clerk was super rude as well and even thou I put in the app I booked thru that I would be there at 1am she refused to check me in till 2 am, untill i got angry. I refused to eat there after the condition of the room and when I went to check out the office was full of burnt toast smoke!!! EVERYTHING!!!

There were black stains on one of the washcloths. One shampoo bottle looked like it was previously used. No tissues in the room. Would not stay here again. See above.

• IowaLakeGirl78 (6/5): Truly a No Frills Place - This is definitely a no frills place. I gave it 3 stars because I liked the convenience of parking right outside the room’s door. Honestly, our room was ok for the few hours we were there…long enough to sleep and shower. I didn’t get the best rest. Water was running somewhere most of the night. Also, the cigarette smell from someone smoking outside was strong. For 2 people, we had one hand towel, 1 washcloth, and 2 bath towels, all scratchy and worn out. There was no facial tissue in the dispenser and only about 1/4 roll of toilet paper. The tub had difficulty draining. I did appreciate the ample counter space off the bathroom. Fun detail-some guy in a room down the row had let his dog out as we were unloading the car. The dog wanted to hang out in our room for a bit. Not the worst hotel but not the best either. I did feel safe and its location was great for getting back on the road.

They were all ripped up in scraggly around the edges, and the washcloth were wore out so bad you could see through them.

We specifically booked a room with two beds and a sofa but were instead given a room with only two beds The heater was covered with a thick layer of dust and when we tried to turn it on, it emitted a strong burning smell, forcing us to turn it off immediately. The property is filthy, not maintained, and neglected.

The free breakfast had few poor choices of bread, waffles, peanut butter, cream cheese, jam/jelly, coffee (that was emptied and not refilled), milk, orange juice.

Front desk employees chihuahua was running loose and urinated on wall. Fridge had sticky red something running from the top where they stored food. Room had used soap bar and washcloth in shower. Room fridge had old soggy pizza rolls left from previous people. Found a sock under the covers.

My friend and I both have short gray hair. The sign lights for the property were turned off (at 9:30 pm - making it hard to easily find) and the hotel was not at all fully booked. Bathtub was dirty and towels were almost too thin to be called towels. I was needing the refrigerator's freeze to freeze a gel pack for medication the next day. However, the entire freezer was a block of frost/ice. Probably hadn't been defrosted in 10+ years. Tile and grout was missing around tub. I will never stay at another Rodeway - and may not use Booking.com based on this experience. I wasn't expecting a new facility for the price, but I expected it to be clean.

• Justin (8/5): - This hotel was my favorite of my trip driving across country. Having been living in California it was odd that no restaurants deliver or have Uber eats. The internet was horrible used hotspot to watch a stream. But for some reason it just felt like a happy quaint place to be.
