- Claire (8/5): Bon séjour à la campagne - L'endroit en pleine campagne, la vue sur les vignes et les villages perchés, la gentillesse de Giovanna. Le lit n'était pas confortable (trop dur).

Så fixade värdinnan Giovanna en underbar trerätters måltid. Så vi kan varmt rekommendera detta boende till andra gäster.
- marja (9/5): Prachtige plek met uitzicht oo de Etna - Locatie met geweldig uitzicht op Etna, Wijngaarden en stadje. Overal kun je een eigen hoekje zoeken om te zitten op een van de vele aanwezige lekkere zonnestoelen. Mooi zwembad. Lekker ontbijt. De kamer was prima maar wat donker. Het bed was erg hoog en tafeltje ernaast erg laag. Daardoor slecht bruikbaar als nachtkastje.

Das Doppelzimmer mit Beistellbett im angrenzenden separaten Häuschen hat leider keinen sehr wertigen Eindruck gemacht. Die Wände waren feucht und an den Decken machte sich bereits Schimmel bemerkbar. Entsprechend war das Raumklima. Gereinigt wird alle 2 Tage, was völlig okay ist. Für neue Handtücher muss man allerdings eine nicht geringe Wechselgebühr zahlen. Grad wenn man länger bleibt, etwas befremdlich. Zusätzlich gibt es Kameras, die jeden Winkel überwachen. Muss vielleicht auch nicht sein.

- Wolfgang (9/5): Toller Ausgangsort für Wanderungen im Alkantara Gebiet - Die ruhige Lage und Bewirtung. Die Sitzgelegenheiten im Zimmer sollten bequemer sein: das Doppelbett ist ziemlich hoch, der einfache Stuhl ungefiltert und der Divan sehr niedrig. Im Sommer,wenn man die draußen reichlich vorhandenen Sitzgelegenheiten wahrnehmen kann, sicherlich irrelevant, jetzt im Winter jedoch nicht.

The breakfast or dinner is served in a separate house. We had the dinner here, it was best what we had in Sicily. Nothing. We liked everything.

- Irina (10/5): Eine angenehme, ruhige Atmosphäre in wunderschöner Umgebung mit sehr freundlichen Eigentümern - Die Unterkunft Tanaceto liegt in einer traumhaften ruhigen Umgebung mit tollem Ausblick zum Etna und einem schönen Rundblick über die hügelige Landschaft. Unser Zimmer war entzückend eingerichtet, das gesamte Anwesen liebevoll hergerichtet und das Frühstück war auch sehr schmackhaft. Die Eigentümer waren sehr zuvorkommend, da wir ziemlich knapp gebucht hatten und auch sehr spät dort ankamen haben sie trotzdem auf uns gewartet und herzlich empfangen. Der Pool schafft eine willkommene Abkühlung und die Ruhe dort ist so entspannend. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt.

Scelta principalmente per la piscina, fantastica davvero (specie nei primi giorni di settembre che ha fatto bellissimo tempo) Giovanna è squisita ed anche una bravissima cuoca! Abbiamo cenato 2 sere senza voglia si allontanarci dalla struttura Colazione pure buona e la presenza dei simpatici figli di Giovanna è stato un plus! Ho consigliato a tutti gli amici della zona di Messina, questa destinazione, fra l'altro facile da raggiungere. Da ritornarci spero!! 🫶🏼

- Monika (9/5): Relax in the lush green wine region on the Etna slopes. - A truly beautiful part of Sicily, this was a lovely relaxing place to stay. We were only there for a brief stop but this would be a fantastic base from which to explore the local wineries. Our hostess was welcoming and friendly and we enjoyed the delicious dinner option at night served with outstanding wine, as well as the wonderful breakfast in the mornings. Everything was great.

Die Zimmer sind in einzelnen Nebengebäuden untergebracht, einfach eingerichtet und mit eigenem Bad. Das Abendessen, von der Gastgeberin mit Liebe und Sorgfalt gekocht, war sehr gut und die Weinauswahl ausgezeichnet. Die Zufahrt ist etwas schwierig, wie oft in ländlichen Gebieten. Unser Zimmer war kleiner als gebucht.

Situato tra i suggestivi vigneti che si estendono sulle pendici dell'Etna, questo rifugio è un’oasi di pace e bellezza autentica. La piscina è un sogno: immersa nel verde, un posto perfetto per rilassarsi dopo una giornata di escursioni o semplicemente per godersi la tranquillità. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Consigliatissimo a chi cerca silenzio, natura e comfort in un contesto unico.

Esra família tiene el entorno de su establecimiento muy cuidado. Dan ganas de quedarse varios días y dejar pasar el tiempo. Todo fenomenal. Desayuno generoso y delicioso. Nada. Todo estuvi de fábula.
- Lorenzo (8/5): Sicuramente un posto tranquillo in cui fare base per visitare l’Etna - Proprietari accoglienti. Siamo arrivati dopo un brutto nubifragio in Agosto, dopo cena (più tardi di quanto preventivato) e siamo stati accolti in modo gentile e professionale. La camera è essenziale e non manca niente. Non abbiamo potuto godere dei servizi esterni causa maltempo. Posizione sicuramente strategica per visitare l’Etna. Arredamento delle camere molto semplice e struttura del letto artigianale molto alto con le ruote. Colazione molto semplice senza molti prodotti locali.

- Lea (6/5): Peacefull, rustic, stay near Castiglione di Sicilia - I chose this accommodation because of the amazing reviews, but didn't find much of the praise. The view of Etna I could only see from my tiny bathroom window, the room was a little worn, the grounds a little messy, the pool area not very inviting. I guess it had a certain rustic charm and the location in the countryside is really nice and peacefull. The host Giovanna is very nice and cooked me a beautifull vegan meal my first nigth. I really missed coffee and tea making facilities. It cost money to rent a pool towel and it wasn't allowed to bring regular towels to the pool.

- patrick (10/5): Un endroit enchanteur - Absolument tout , la localisation est parfaite pour la région de l’Etna , le lieu est plein de charme et enchanteur dans une oasis de verdure, et l’hôtesse Giovanna est absolument adorable et aux petits soins pour ses hôtes , elle s’est adaptée à toutes nos demandes et s’est même souvenue lors du repas que m’a fille n’aimait pas le fromage ! Merci beaucoup à elle et bravo pour ce lieu . Rien tout était parfait !

Le stanze bellissime, ampie e ben arredate, immerse tra gli alberi, i fiori, i campi... Un posto magico e ricco di storia che Giovanna riesce a raccontare facendoti fare un tuffo nel passato!il Tanaceto è stato una vera terapia per staccare la spina dalla vita frenetica di tutti i giorni e sento di volerci ritornare... e lo farò sicuramente!

- Ulrike (9/5): A peaceful oasis! - Most wonderful location in the mountains with stunning views all around, including Mt Etna. The pool was a welcome refreshment after a day of sightseeing in Taormina! Lovely hosts and a nice breakfast in a former wine-producing barn. So quiet! And the windows had screens (!) so we could sleep with the fresh night air and no bugs! Beds were a bit uncomfortable (very hard), and it would have been nice to have available towels at the pool ( we could have purchased).

La piscine accessible à tout moment et très bien entretenue. Magnifique vue de tous les côtés. Espaces de détente dans la propriété un peu partout pour pouvoir s isoler. Merci beaucoup Giovanna. Peut être mettre une machine à café à disposition des locataires quand la maîtresse de maison n'est pas là ? Remettre un panneau indicateur plus visible pour trouver le petit chemin (attention pas de trop grosse voiture !) qu'il faut prendre quand on est dans le village. On peut passer devant sans le voir !

- Danuta (10/5): - The place is beautiful, set in seclusion and decorated in an avant-garde style, located in a former vineyard. The owner is very kind, the bed is comfortable, and there's plenty of space to sit outside and, for example, admire Mount Etna. We liked everything. Maybe only one thing- there is no fridge in the room but you can put something in the fridge downstairs in the hall. It’s better to come with a small car, as the last stretch before the gate is a narrow path with stone walls on both sides.

- Joanna (8/5): - The place is beautiful, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet only a 15-minute drive from town. It’s a large area with cottages that have individual rooms. There’s a patio, a pool, and a mountain view – not of Etna, but still stunning. It’s peaceful and idyllic. The owner is very kind and helpful. There’s plenty of parking space, and the gate is closed at night, so it feels very safe. The atmosphere is truly amazing. The bathroom needs renovation, especially the small shower, where mold and dirt are already visible. Unfortunately, the breakfasts are very poor and exactly the same every day – three types of ham,, gouda cheese, a hard-boiled egg, yogurt, cake, a croissant, and jam. There are no vegetables at all, and simply adding olives and sun-dried tomatoes would make a big difference. Dinner is available upon request but costs €35 per person, which is quite expensive, and drinks are not included.

Location immersa nella natura dove apprezzare tranquillità e pace. Buon punto d'appoggio per l'escursione sull'Etna da Piano Provenzana (versante Nord) e le Gole dell'Alcantara. Il contesto rurale molto rilassante. Pulizia della camera. Peccato non aver potuto provare la cucina per la cena!

- Tesch (9/5): Das etwas andere, besondere Hotel - Sehr ruhige, angenehme Unterkunft. Familienbetrieb mit einer sehr freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Hotelbesitzerin. Gutes Frühstück. Etwas schwierig zu finden und eine schmale Zufahrt.
- Uwe (9/5): Etna Sicht, familiär und freundlich - Ruhige Lage, durch unsere Türe sahen wir den Etna aktiv, gutes Frühstück auf der sonnigen überdachten Terrasse, konnten auch den Pool bereits nutzen, die Vermieterin war sehr hilfsbereit und betreibt leckere Küche Die Gartenmöbel brauchen eine Überholung🤭

- CHUN TING (7/5): a counrty feeling home - The host family is kind and nice. And there is dark enough to have the stars at night. The last 500m road to the house is very narrow to drive. The room is a little bit small for a country house staying.
- Jonas (10/5): - Tolle Lage mit Blick auf den Ätna. Wir waren in der Nebensaison die einzigen Gäste. Dennoch wurde uns ein tolles Frühstück und ein hervorragendes Abendessen geboten. Sehr schöner Aufenthaltsraum, gemütliches Zimmer, gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Dazu außerordentlich nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Starke Empfehlung!

- Francesco (10/5): Breve ma piacevole - La proprietaria ci ha illustrato gli itinerari che da il Tanaceto arrivano fino al fiume Alcantara oltre tutte le escursioni che si possono fare nelle cantine in zona. Mi sarebbe piaciuto a colazione non trovare confetture industriali ma artigianali. Comprendo che è una esigenza di legge ma in alcune strutture le ho trovate e sono state molto gradite.

Nes užsakant nakvynę 12:00 ir atvykus 16:00 vakarienė gali būti ir nepateikta. Ačiū personalui, jis susitvarkė su situacija ir mus pamaitino, o jeigu ne? Artimiausia vietą kur galite pavalgyti už 20 KM siaurais vingiuotais keliukais. Labai siauras įvažiavimas, teko užlenkti šoninius veidrodėlius, kitaip niekaip.

- Björn (8/5): Rofylld vistelse, personligt bemötande - Den rustika gårdsmiljön, mycket hjärtlig och trevlig värdinna. Helt modernt vad gäller säng, toilette-duschrum. Utmärkt frukost. Nära till ett vinprovningsställe med rikligt tilltugg. Poolen ett klart plus. Middagarna vällagade, men mat i överkant med mycket pasta och typ italiensk husmanskost. Tyvärr långt till middagsalternativ, vilket man i och för dig ju får räkna med så här på landsbygden.
