David (10/5): Best deal in Aruba! - Wilson is absolutely the nicest guy you could ever meet. He works on the property and makes you feel like a million dollars. Top notch care. This place is definitely the best deal in Aruba. Gorgeous view of the ocean and a really cool tropical layout with full outdoor kitchens which we loved. The bed was very comfortable. This will definitely be my go to place in Aruba! Didn’t discover the swimming pool and beach view until day 3. Don’t wait as long as we did. Stunning place to enjoy the sunset.
Keirsen (7/5): Nice private stay, facilities and electrical need serious updating. - The property had a great location to many beaches, resort restaurants. The layout is very private. Enjoyed the private patio facing the ocean. Nice small pool. Very clean. Used it every night. Electrical wiring questionable. Lights strung directly above the pool. Outdoor kitchen did not bother my family, but expect animals. Make sure to clean counters etc before use. Stow food securely away. Stove/hot plate barely got hot. Could not get water to boil.

Older buildings expensive but quaint and one of a kind. - Beautiful scenery across from the ocean It advertised a shuttle but was not available for last minute bookings. They agreed to extra bed but was also not available for last minute bookings. Wilson was excellent.
Devon (9/5): Dreamy location, indoor/outdoor living, charming stay that makes you feel like a local! - We LOVED the location - just past the main resort strip, but it felt so quiet and private. You couldn't beat being right across the street from the beach. We loved Ana and Wilson (plus the property wildlife!) The outdoor living space and kitchen was where we spent most of our time, plus sitting by the pool and laying in the hammock. We actually preferred the quiet garden view. All of the guests were so friendly and Ana was very helpful with recommendations. Having a rental car was definitely ideal, but it's great that there's a company vehicle you can also use. We will definitely stay here whenever we come to Aruba! We would've appreciated if the room was setup with more bedding, but we received extra pillows and a blanket on request which was great. We also noticed a sewage like smell in the bathroom sometimes, we wonder if it was coming from outside the window somewhere nearby, so it would be nice to have an air freshener or candle in there.

In the activities available question below, it is not possible to answer the question as phrased, since all those activities plus more that are not listed were available up or down the beach. There were a few mosquitoes in the kitchen and bedroom; could be a few more plates and bowls made available and a shelf or two added to the refrigerator. These were minor considerations, however, and are mentioned not to complain but to help the hosts know how the stay could be improved.

Gustavo (10/5): Muy recomendable !!! - Me gustó mucho la ubicación ya que el lugar es muy tranquilo y en 500 mts aprox está Palm beach si se desea algo más de movimento. El lugar posee cocina y heladera lo cual permite cocinar y tener bebidas frias. La atención del personal ( Ana y Wilson ) es destacable por su amabildad y predisposición junto con sus dueños que son muy amables. Quizá que la playa que está justo en frente del hotel tiene muchas piedras pero no es relevante para el disfrute de la estadía .
Jordan (10/5): An cozy spot just a short walk to the beach with a super friendly and accommodating staff. - A quaint, peaceful environment away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy areas of Aruba, but within walking distance of the beach, and just a short drive to all the main attractions. The space was awesome for outdoor gatherings and relaxing in the shade with a great breeze from the ocean. The staff were amazing and really catered to our needs. My family ended up stranded when the FAA issued a no-fly order for Caribbean airspace and Ana and Wilson found accommodations for us and were really flexible with our check out date/time as we were scrambling to rebook flights. Thank you so much for everything!

Anna is just an exception, exceptional human being. Cindy (10/5): - The location was perfect for us to walk to restaurants and the best snorkeling beaches. The beach across the road was also perfect for floating. The pool was a great place to relax. The shower was clean and spacious. AC was great. The outside patio was perfect for mornings and evenings. Free upgrade to ocean view was awesome! It was nice and quiet. Coffee maker and filters were perfect. I can't think of much. It was a little small, but that was compensated for by the outside room area. The fridge was large and microwave was also very handy. See, I keep finding more good stuff!

Isabell (4/5): - The location of the Aruba Beach Appartment is in principle great: bus stop about 8min walk. Close to the beach. Palm Beach and Eagle Beach can also be reached in a 30-45min walk from the apartment, as well as Arashi beach in the North (but also well connected by bus). For those who travel without renting a car (like we did): there is no supermarket close to that Appartment. The place itself has big potential but unfortunately is outdated and not well maintained. Our apartment (#4) was somber and dirty, the door to the apartment was difficult to handle (difficult to open and to lock). The bathroom was dusty and moldy. The accommodation does not offer good value for money. See also the pictures attached. However, it was very pleasant that we were allowed to check out later (on the other hand, we were the only guests at the resort during our 3-night stay).

Jacobs (10/5): We loved this place and the staff and would definitely go back! - Great location, staff is great! It was a quiet location with beautiful garden like surroundings. The outdoor kitchen and seating areas with the air conditioned bedroom is so cool. They had a nice pool on the property that we used multiple times. Wilson helped us out with anything we needed! The high rise area with restaurants and shops was conveniently nearby. The location and atmosphere of this place couldn’t be beat! My only suggestion is just a few things in our unit could have been updated such as some of the appliances in the kitchen and beach chairs. All the appliances were clean on the inside and everything worked well so no complaints there just cosmetically on the outside. We didn’t use the dishwasher but it seemed in similar condition.

Jacob (9/5): Rust en ontspanning in een periode dat we die echt heel hard nodig hadden - De locatie is erg goed, als je ook de beschikking hebt over een auto. Het team van Beaches Houses, Ana en Wilson, zijn de beste. Al onze buren bij het appartement tijdens ons verblijf waren leuke mensen. De kite surfers die blijkbaar niet weten dat ze 50 meter vanaf de beach moeten blijven.

Relaxed, very friendly, a one minute stroll to a secluded part of the beach. A nice outdoor area to sit and work or relax. I am happy walking and I walked into town along the beach most evenings (20 mins to the nearest restaurants, 45 mins for those further down near the strip. However it is hot and humid and so you might want to have a rental car or use taxis. During the day I picked up one of the loungers and headed to the beach to read and swim. This place was absolutely as described and met all expectations.
Claire (8/5): Great location and relaxed vibes - This is great accommodation if you don’t want to be a part of the mass resort vibe, but want access to what’s on offer. We Loved having our own outdoor area and kitchen - which was great to unwind in. The location is good - access to the beautiful beach, the restaurants and casinos just a short walk along the road. The pool was perfect for a mid-afternoon dip.

Aj (3/5): Poor - The place was charming as such and the outside kitchen was really handy. We got only one towel. The staff was not friendly at all. The faucet was dripping and the staff shouted at us for leaving it on while it was broken. Everything is worn down. Two of our outside lights didn't work. Fan in the bedroom didn't work either to which the staff replied: yeah it hasn't been working for a while. Once I used the stove and got an electric shock. The biggest issue I see, however was that the description of the place in Booking and reality didn't match at all. There was no swimmable beach near by. No convenient store. No restaurant or bars. A car was needed but the information on their page didn't suggest that at all. For the money we spent the place was definitely not worth it. We stayed in two different places after we left here for less money with much greater service.

Anna in the office is a doll and the manager Wilson is very helpful and is there on site for caring for clients at all times ... truly one of the islands best kept secrets !!! A must to try ...

Sanja (2/5): Would not come back even for the lower price. - It should not be rated high. Place doesn’t have beach front . Beach is across the Main Street and it can be call beach actually since it’s not possible to swim in the ocean. Place is old and needs to be renovated asap. Very cheap pillows, no shampoo or anything in the bathroom. Not enough utensils, not enough towels, nobody is doing any cleaning if you don’t ask for it and place is dirty . No hair dryer or iron. You have to ask host every time if you need some of those. Beach chairs are falling apart. No washer or dryer. It’s very obvious that owner is saving money on everything as much as possible. Pool is really large hot tub and ocean view is almost non existent. Outdoor kitchen had fruit flies making cooking very hard. A lot of cats are climbing all over the place, kitchen,dishes etc. Mosquitos everywhere including the bathroom.If you don’t have a car you will spend fortune on taxi. Nothing is close. No restaurants,no food stores…resort is not 10 min away. It’s min half hour walk. Make long story short…. Nothing looks like on the picture. Place needs a LOT of work to look decent.And location is not like its described Mattresses were ok….
Cathymtully (9/5): Peaceful oasis of relaxed comfort close to the best beaches for snorkelling - Wonderful location at the quiet far end of Palm Beach away from the big hotels and closer to the quiet northern beaches that offer fantastic snorkelling. The atmosphere was so friendly and relaxed and we were made to feel so welcome by Wilson and Ana who were always there to help if we needed anything. The little pool is perfect for dipping in after a day snorkelling off Malmok or Boca Catalina beaches or for sitting around with a drink and a book. It's a short drive or a 20-minute walk to Malmok beach where you can find turtles (if you keep away from the tourist boats) and loads of amazing fish and sea creatures. A drive up to the California Lighthouse and Faro Blanco restaurant to enjoy the sunset is unmissable. If you want to enjoy all the beauty that Aruba has to offer but don't like crowds and big hotels, this wonderful place is for you. Nothing! You do need a car, at least for some of the time, as there are no shops or restaurants within easy walking distance, although there is a bus service that runs regularly just outside on the main road. If you're hiring a car, book in advance if you don't want to pay double!

It is just a little dated but everything worked and it was super clean! Anna and Wilson were amazing host for a solo female traveller! All was great!
Alex (9/5): Great place to stay! Relaxed and independent vibes! - Unique place to stay, great if you want a more independent relaxed vibe rather than a resort. Great location for Malmok beach, only 15 minute walk. A car is required for Aruba im general but it's possible to walk 20/30 mins along the beach to town and a few beach restaurants. Lovely dipping pool and great seafront/sunset view. Very grateful for the quiet relaxed vibe. All it needs is a mini market and a couple of restaurants or bars in easy walking distance. If you're the sort of people who don't like to hire a car, your options are very limited if you stay here but can be done all the same.

Great atmosphere, Ana and Wilson were helpful with any request, including arranging car hire, airport transfers etc. The accommodation is self-catering, the small kitchen was fully equipped, the large fridge with a separate freezer was a surprise. Pleasant living area in the outdoor covered patio. Possibility of grilling. The bedroom is large enough, the bathroom with a shower is adequate. Small pool available, but adequate and clean. The accommodation is a pleasant counterpoint to huge hotels with all inclusive and lots of staff.

Close to many of the popular beaches by car, Arashi beach, eagle beach. Also, close to the hotel area by car but far enough to be quiet Wilson's way of treating guests. He spoke to us rudely not in a way a guest would like to be spoken to. At some point he said if you want to leave and you don't like it you can leave.

Onsite employee Wilson was available for any issues. The bed waz very comfortable and the shower water pressure and temperature were great! That we didn't stay longer than 1 week!

Beth (10/5): My stay was AMAZING and I felt truly blessed. God put me exactly where I needed to be!!! - Beach House Aruba Apartments was the perfect location for me to relax and take in some sun. My experience was amazing. Ana and Wilson were so nice and helpful. The guests staying at this location were super friendly. It felt like we were lifelong neighbors. I liked that I wasn't in the hustle and bustle of the high-rise hotel scene, but close enough (8 minute walk) to be able to check it out and walk along the beach path that is in front of the Ritz-Carlton and Mariott. I also liked that I had a kitchenette so that I could make my own breakfast and coffee. In addition, I was traveling alone and I felt very safe. My room was very clean. The bed was super comfortable. There was a little issue with my door when I got there, but Wilson was able to fix it. Also, from what I learned from the taxi driver is that it is located in a different zone so the taxi rides are a little more expensive.

It makes life so much easier and gives you more time to explore the island. Nothing! Only wish the pool was warmer at night, but can’t do anything about that
