Guest Reviews
- Liam (10/5): -
- Grace (6/5): Good location but can be v noisy - Spacious, clean and nice kitchen Location of my unit looks at the dumpster and every night I heard multiple glass bottle disposing there and waking me up.
Email response time from guest services is not very quick and missed one of my emails.
- Stephanie (6/5): Good town centre location, terrible sleep and anxiety inducing parking! - The location is great, right in the town centre. The apartment was big with plenty of good features. There are no curtains, just blinds that let the light in when closed, in the town centre there is a lot of light at night. So not good for sleeping in darkness. I ended up buying an eye mask for the second night.
The parking is first come first served and only a few spaces available. If someone parks at an awkward angle then other spaces become unusable. Also, there is no clear signage about where to park.
Refundable £150 deposit in case of damages, this took 5 working days to appear back in my account.

- Samara Lidia (10/5): Nice place - I like it very much. It's easy to find, near all the shops, the facilities are nice, and it's very easy to contact the personnel with a quick response. All amenities in the kitchen. Deposit was refunded quickly as well. A few things that could be improved, but nothing major or that would stop me to book again. It was a very pleasant stay. Could use some curtains in the bedroom, as the light in the morning can be very uncomfortable, even in winter. The bed mattress and pillows could use a renewal. And at least a tea towel in the kitchen would have been nice.

- Charles (10/5): A warm, clean, cozy, centrally situated apartment with very good facilities. - We’ll furnished; very good facilities; conveniently located; warm; comfortable; immediate responses to questions to management, communicated via e-mail. Requested extra set of keys had not been provided as arranged (but this was rectified after sending a second request. Could not operate combination lock to dispose of rubbish at end of stay. Bedside light went into a flashing mode after a minute or two and had to be used at a lower brightness setting. Lift in the building had broken down.
- Innocent (10/5): - Very clean apartment with good heating, and very close to city centre None
- Ludek (9/5): -
- Helen (7/5): Excellent place to stay. I will be recommending it. Lots of variety of restaurants nearby and short walk to cinema and - Spotless and every need catered for. Great to have a washing machine. It was quiet. A previous guest must have been smelly.
Needed a photo of what the front door looks like. I was trying to access the wheelie bin storage in the dark.
- Julie (8/5): I'd stay again - Easy key collection A baking sheet to use in the oven

- Xia (10/5): 很好 - 位置很好,周边购物非常方便,房间干净整洁,客服回馈迅速
- Kevin (9/5): - Good location, good comms with vendor, apartment as described. N/A
- Laura (7/5): Spotless apartment - noisy at weekends - Clean and well stocked with everything you would need and staff helpful regarding access and The apartment faces the back of the town sous noisy all night until the early hours which as we stayed Friday through Sunday meant we had very disturbed nights the whole stay - this was not referenced anywhere in the details - also had to send personal information ahead of staying including identity documents which we were concerned about
- Steve (9/5): -
- Grace (5/5): Adequate, clean and central. - Great central location, a little tired and scuffed walls There’s a pub beer garden across the courtyard, it was quite noisy to sleep.
- Anthony (9/5): ideal for visiting Basingstoke - the apartment was centrally located and convenient for everything, work, Basingstoke town and facilities and the train station. the apartment was clean and well appointed with everything required for a two week stay, it even had slat and pepper mills which is not the norm in other places I've stayed. Also i asked for a non-slip bathmat, having had a bad fall in a local hotel and, lo and behold there was a non-slip bathmat available when i arrived a tea towel would have been useful just for the odd cup, rather than wait for the diswasher to fill up.
the bed was comfy if you slept on the left hand side, but not the right, a new mattress would is reall needed and, a mattress protector please
- Evelyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Farai (10/5): Exceptional -
- Darryl (9/5): Superb - Well located, comfortable, well equipped
- Alison (8/5): Very good - Clean and comfortable apartment has everything you need and perfect position in town Noise from pub close by at weekends ,lobby stairs could do with a hoover
- Sandra (7/5): Good -
- Steve (9/5): Superb studio in a perfect location - This is a studio in a nice part of the town with restaurants, shops & transport right there. It's very big though and felt great. The TV is fantastic! a 55in beast! Very comfortable sofa & the bed was decent. I also like that they leave complimentary bottles of water, milk, biscuits, cereal, tea etc and kitchen towels, which is very convenient to keep things clean.
- Elizabeth (9/5): Superb - Studio apartment just the right size for myself and 6 year old grandson, modern, comfortable and very clean apart from around the outside of the shower cubicle at the bottom, needs a goid scrub. Nothing really but could do with a tea towel in the kitchen as didn't always need to use the dishwasher and although staying 3 nights there were only 2 teabags, fortunately I always take some with me when staying in an airbnb.
- Napat (10/5): The room is in a good location and quiet. - Good location, convenient, near shops and restaurants, clean room and complete kitchen equipment.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good Value for Money and Very Central - The unit at Central Point was great for an extended business trip as it had a full kitchen and laundry machine. The unit I ended up in was a bit older than the pictures suggested but I figure that's just down to differences between units.
Area was very central with many food and entertainment options.
Only caveat is that it could get a bit loud on a Friday and Saturday night which wasn't an issue for me as it was the weekend.
I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a central location with some flexibility.
- Adil (8/5): Good amenities, noisy but central locale, bad bed - Great amenities, central and walkable. Wish it wasn't so loud at night when the recycling truck comes at 4am with smashing glass noises. Super disruptive. Also the bed/pillows are terribly uncomfortable.
Liked having a combo washer dryer but the dryer function mught as well not exist. More that it brings the clothes from wet > damp, and then you need to air dry from there.
Room picture showed a full tub washroom, but that wasn't what was provided and client support said that this picture was a mistake. Just be wary when booking.
Overall I did enjoy the stay, the tv was great, and the support from the company was next very good when I complained the room doesn't match the pictures in the booking.
- Soumik (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cameron (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (4/5): Provided the wrong room - I was given the wrong room and was told my original room had already been taken and ask how this happened and they could not answer. I requested my original room but Fisher House could not resolve the issue.
- Michael (5/5): Basic and wouldn't hurry back - Spacious kitchen area, good location within walking distance of train station, shopping centre. Instructions and access was easy to follow. £150 security deposit unknown until booked, rather basic with old furniture, cramped en suite and filthy kettle.
- Steve (10/5): Very enjoyable stay in a superb apartment in a great location. - Superb apartment! I have been in very nice ones and this one still impressed me being one of the very best I've stayed in. Location is perfect with shops, restaurants etc right outside and buses less than 5 minutes walk away (based on me able to walk at an even pace). The apartment is quiet too. I was also pleased to find complimentary bottles of water, snacks, biscuits etc . & even fresh milk in the fridge! This host is outstanding. This apartment not being available when I wanted to return! :)
- Huei (10/5): In general really good experience would recommend - Great location, clean facility, quick response from the host and lovely room. Had to do payment from a link sent by the hosting agency through email which I didn’t feel comfortable at the beginning. But confirmed with customer service from bookingdotcom it was alright
- Santanu (9/5): Superb - LOCATION IS VERY GOOD. THERE IS SOME PROBLEM IN HAVING HOT WATER TO BATH OTHERWISE VERY GOOD.RESTRURANTS ARE VERY NEARBY. MALLS ARE VERY NEAR TO THIS HOUSE. HOT WATER PROBLEM
- Alex (9/5): Superb -
- Zoltan (10/5): - Everything was good.
- Prabhat (9/5): Superb -
- Richard (9/5): A clean, spacious, comfortable apartment right in the town centre. - Clean, spacious, comfortable apartment right in the town centre. Excellent value for money.
- Gareth (8/5): Very good -
- Phill (8/5): Very good - Location Needs more cutlery and crockery to save running dishwasher all the time. Need to provide t towel and oven glove
- Merzaki (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sumair (9/5): Very convenient, very clean and tidy - Location is good, facilities nice and clean Realistically there is no private parking, but there is a car park nearby
- Keith (9/5): Superb - Ideal for an overnight before an early meeting. I would have preferred fresh milk to long life (there was a pint in the fridge, which is a nice touch).
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Minto (7/5): Nice - Lock box is very convenient
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pilane (8/5): Very good -

- Sabrina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Len1* (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melissa (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (7/5): Good -
- N.a (8/5): Nice - booking process a little convoluted however - Place was great, nice and spacious, location in town centre - very convenient getting in and out. Main drawback was the inconvenience of the booking process - had to pay, place a deposit etc. via email.
- Dave (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (7/5): Good place to stay and nicely located in the centre of town. - I liked the general concept of a self-contained apartment. Very clean generally. House had a permanent strong smell of curry which we found out was actually coming in from outside and could not be eliminated.
The empty freezer was frozen solid. The drawers could not be opened and the freezer door could not be properly closed due to accumulation of ice. Being the type we were, we defrosted and cleaned it all out for them and got it usable.
It was impossible to get in touch with any staff using the first number on the information sheet. We had to speak with them as we could not find any permits for the parking that we paid for and could not risk a £100 fine for not displaying one. They kept saying they were on the phone and would call back if we left a message but no one ever did. We found another phone number in the end to resolve the parking. It was stressful after a four-hour journey.
- Richard (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (9/5): excellent for self catering short stay in basingstoke - good location, parking available, clean,
simple yet well equipped & modern
self check in required re-booking& pay directly with company
(not via booking.com) , needed help to
locate parking & entrance.
smell from nearby restaurants
- Curtis (10/5): Exceptional -
- احمد (8/5): Very good - Location and cleanses. The kitchen was superb. Looks like the Satellite dish is off proper direction
- Bridget (4/5): Was ok but some simple changes would have improved the experience - Location was central Bed was uncomfortable, TV did not work and was adjusted once but then reverted to not being able to watch even Freeview channels, each morning rubbish was collected outside at 5am an was very noisy
- Jumoke (7/5): Good - Good instructions to access the property and information linked to the facilities. Easy check out process as well.
The property was comfortable with good facilities The bin lorries or some other activity going on very early hours of the morning on one of the days - otherwise very quiet
- Garikai (7/5): Good -
- Darran (8/5): Very good -
- David (10/5): Excellent accommodation - Exceptional accommodation will definitely book again.
- Graham (10/5): - Excellent property, apartment was finished to a very good standard.
Have booked a return visit already.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Clean, modern and spacious apartment - Clean, modern and spacious apartment with nice kitchen. Very central location, a bit noisy Friday and Saturday night but very quiet other times. Internet was slow.
- Roger (10/5): Great location and perfectly formed - Ideally located in the town centre. Stayed during mid week and was quiet over night. The apartment contains everything you should need to make your stay a home from home. Including fully fitted kitch, dishwasher, crockery and cooking utensiles. There was also a washing machine.
- Anthony (8/5): Basingstoke Central - Everything was easy and straightforward once I was checked in. Check-in was clunky because there was a missing email that required photo proof of identity, a deposit and parking fees.
The apartment is clean, modern and comfortable. It's central location means that you can leave the car there and walk all around around Basingstoke, including Festival Place.
- Sharron (10/5): Modern clean apartment - Lovely modern clean apartment with everything needed for a short stay.
- Ryan (10/5): Lovely! - Lovely apartment, only downfall is it was very warm with no A/C!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Clean, comfortable and central - Nicely furnished apartment in a great location for central Basingstoke. Supermarkets, restaurants and transport nearby
- Verified traveler (10/5): Outstanding - 5* - Fantastic, nicely furnished apartment with a location in the centre of Basingstoke, close to Festival Place and many restaurants.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great option for the town centre - Getting the access codes to get into the building was slightly stressful as the communication was a little late, sparse and confusing. Having said that - there is always someone at the end of the phone. And, once sorted, actually entering the building and accessing the room was pretty straightforward.
The room was felt spacious, was very well laid out, well supplied with all the essentials and more, and very clean. The bed was comfy. The kitchen included a large fridge-freezer, full cooker, small dishwasher, plus all the essential crockery, cutlery, utensils and cooking pots and pans. The wifi worked well.
Location-wise this cannot be beaten for us as it was about a 1 minute walk to The Haymarket and 2 minutes to a Neros. If you are wanting a decent room close to the town centre you'd be hard pushed to beat this. We were there mid week and heard very little noise. But being so close to the town centre I suspect there'd be a lot more at a weekends.
We did not pay the £6 to get a parking permit, but instead parked at the Centre Car Park immediately behind the building. Its £1 overnight from 6pm to 8am. But there are no returns so you have to move the car. We were going out anyway to grab a coffee, so just moved the car over the road to Feathers Yard (a tiny car park even closer to the apartment) and paid £2 for a further 2 hours.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent location in the heart of pedestrian-friendly shopping district
- Verified traveler (8/5): Clean, spacious, good location. - Nice property. Quiet and peaceful inside, Although a bit noisy with revellers outside.
- Richard (10/5): Great Flat in a Centrally Location - Excellent studio flat in the centre of town! Easy instructions on checking-in/out, plus extras to welcome me: snacks & beverages plus toiletries; fully operating fridge, washer, dishwasher & closet safe makes for a comfortable, convenient & secure stay in Basingstoke.
- Luke (8/5): Was fine - Needs to be clearer you have to pay a £150 deposit. But once there it was perfect for a night stay
- Verified traveler (10/5): great apartment - great
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good apartments, easy to check in too - Great as always though disappointingly not cereal provided for the second time. Breakfast is not included in price but my expectations have now been set!
