• Paul (8/5): Practical and Confortable - Nice location and room on ground level which was clean and tidy with excellent comfortable bed. Lacked a fridge and the bathroom sink hot water tap, water was only a trickle.
• ram028 (10/5): Excellent Birthday Meal - Excellent Birthday meal for my wife. Lovely food and the staff were friendly and attentive. Even had a Birthday card from the owner which was a nice touch. The Roosters Bar has just been renovated to a very good standard. All in all a very nice experience.

We arrived the day before, ate in Roosters Bar (excellent food), stayed in a Superior room with a balcony overlooking the golf course. The room was spacious, very well appointed with a huge comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent too! Our wedding day was perfect with special thanks to Carol for helping us to plan the day, Jane (our master of ceremonies) and Andrew who was on hand over the weekend and ensured it ran very smoothly. All of the staff in the hotel, restaurant and the events team are so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and we appreciate all they did. We had the Penthouse Suite for our wedding night, again with a balcony overlooking the golf course. It was an amazing room, just a shame we didn't spend that much time in it! We would highly recommend Morley Hayes for food, celebrations and events, such a beautiful setting with excellent, attentive staff. Thank you!!

• twatofalad (10/5): Always a pleasure to visit - My wife and I have been dining at Morley Hayes for quite a number of years we have seen it grow and grow to what it is today. We called in yesterday for food and once again was not disappointed the food was excellent as ever the staff and service is second to none it has been refurbished since our last visit the owners have high standards and it shows and appreciated. If I was to be negative about anything is that the menu hardly ever changes and is very predictable although the food is very good a little tweek of the menu on a more regular basis would be welcome
• emmceee (10/5): Incredible bed! - We stayed last night and had such a lovely experience from start to finish. Jane on reception was especially welcoming and friendly, and honestly all the staff were just fantastic — nothing felt like too much trouble. Breakfast was great, with plenty of choice and everything really well done. But the absolute highlight for me was the bed — it was enormous and unbelievably comfortable. I had one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in ages. The SIX pillows were also incredible — soft but still supportive — I’m actually on a mission now to find out where I can buy some! Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

• Wendy (10/5): A fabulous hotel, great service and a great location - This is our second stay here and hopefully not our last, we absolutely love the little things, the professional and friendly staff to greet you and see you off with a smile, the sweets and apples on the receptions desk the writing paper and postcards and even the bible in the room and we're not religious. Please don't stop doing what you're doing with the good 'old fashioned' values and standards, a nice change from the faceless and soulless hotels :) There was nothing to dislike

• Clarky7 (6/5): Great location & lovely meal - Our first visit here to this lovely hotel and golf complex. We had a great night here at the Morley Hayes. Great room looking right onto the course & a very tasty meal. Sadly we couldn’t get into the main restaurant as planned due to a conference taking up the tables until 8pm which is too late for us to eat. Quite disappointed that our shower had no shower gel or shampoo dispenser as it was completely missing with just a metal bracket on the wall!!! Not ideal to share 2 small bottles of shampoo in such a lovely place. The bath which my wife used was unable to be emptied due to a broken unit on taps so had to leave it full of water. Such a shame the attention to detail let us down on our visit here. Let’s hope we get a chance to return in the future with no issues. Definitely will book restaurant in advance next time. Good breakfast & staff very polite

Jane was our lovely host, great sense of humour and made us all relaxed. Complimentary Prosecco for the ladies and Hawkstone Lagers for the gents. Meal was 5 star excellence, service superb.. The Rose bushes presented to the Mums, grandmother's and great-grandmothers were a lovely gesture. Thank you so much for a great afternoon.

The menu choice was excellent, the meal was delicious, thoroughly enjoyed by all, and the service as always was outstanding. We had very comfortable rooms. The food was delicious for both breakfast and dinner with different menus each night. All staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful at the reception and in the restaurants. In particular the restaurant staff, who were mostly quite young, were well trained and very efficient. Special thanks to Miles who was very attentive to us old fogeys and took great care in his work. Looking forward to visiting Morley Hayes again.
• J6249QJlees (10/5): A home away from home - We’ve just returned from a wonderful three-night stay at The Morley Hayes Hotel as a family of four, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, every single member of staff was polite, welcoming and genuinely helpful. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. There’s a real warmth to the service here, and it made such a difference to us, especially travelling with children. Housekeeping was excellent throughout our stay. Our room was spotless every day, beautifully maintained and incredibly comfortable. The hotel itself feels cosy and well cared for — it had everything we needed as a family and felt like a real home away from home. A special mention must go to the breakfast team. On one of the mornings, our youngest son was unwell and unable to come down for breakfast. The staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating, helping us arrange breakfast in the room without hesitation. Their understanding and flexibility meant a lot to us at a stressful moment, and it perfectly reflects the level of care shown throughout our stay. The location was also ideal. Visiting the UK from Dubai, we wanted a comfortable base while catching up with friends and family, and Morley Hayes was perfect. Peaceful, welcoming, and brilliantly positioned — it made the whole trip smooth and enjoyable. A genuine five-star experience from start to finish. We’ll absolutely be back next time we’re home.

We were a large group of friends and family celebrating a big birthday and we all had a very enjoyable evening. The Tribute act created a great party atmosphere and encouraged the audience to join in and get onto the dance floor. Food and service as usual for Morley Hayes was excellent and delicious. We stayed in an amazing suite which was ideal for what we needed as it was our wedding and family were able to come and sit and chat in the living area.The bed was so comfortable and enormous. In the morning we were served an amazing breakfast having room service for a light lunch in our room later.The staff were really friendly and nothing was to much. New years Eve fireworks from the hotel were the best we had seen.

• michaelcL5180QR (10/5): Candlelight Dinner & Disco - Attended the Candlelight Dinner and Disco in the Millroom on Saturday 20th December 2025. We were a party of 10 but unfortunately someone had to pull out due to illness. We were located on a private round table just off the main room behind the bar area. For our group this was great as we could still interact with other guests but we were able talk to each other very easily. The food and service were excellent throughout and the staff even boxed all the food up for our missing guest. Couldn't fault the evening and would highly recommend the experience.

On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff who couldn't have been better for the whole night. The buffet was never-ending and of exceptional quality. It really was a brilliant night. The fireworks were also awesome! Well done to the whole team. We will be booking again for next year. Our party of four went away on a high.

• Realist_2010 (10/5): A lovely dinner with Santa! - Dinner with Santa!! This is our 3rd time visiting for a festive event. First we did breakfast with Santa but the last 2 times it's been dinner with Santa. Both experiences were excellent and this year was no different. In fact it seems to get better. The very special touches of santa knowing what your kids like and mentioning their teachers names etc. add to the magic beautifully. It isn't cheap but I think it is excellent value for money. On arrival the tables are adorned with all sorts of treats for the kids which keep them occupied whilst waiting for their food. The food was really very good, nothing too much trouble for the staff and plenty of everything for everyone. Hot and all arrived together. Not to mention the little extras like warm mince pies. They give it a special touch. We were full to the brim! My only very small constructive criticism would be that table service for drinks would be an improvement. I found that, one of the party was away from the group for quite a long time, waiting at the bar, and given it's a family event, so unlikely a high volume of drink being consumed, I think it would be a lovely finishing touch if there were table service for the drinks if it could be accommodated.

Thank you Morley hayes for a fantastic experience At first glance, I’ll be honest, I thought this was expensive for what it was. £40 per adult and £23 per child for breakfast. However. They take info from you in advance about the kid and food choices. Breakfast is a 3 course affair, with plenty for the kids to enjoy. The tables are set up with loads of Christmas bits - headbands, glasses, crackers, and decorations. Santa is there when you come in for photos on his sleigh, and then spends time with you at your table chatting away to the kids, as well as chatting away to them about things that he knows about their favourite things. My daughter couldn’t believe he “knew” about her teacher and her favourite toy We were absolutely stuffed after the food, and there was opportunity to take the pastries away with us. The kids then got to go into santas grotto, and all received a present. I’ll be honest, I’ve never been as impressed as I was today. None of the kids there received the same gift and all of them were fantastic. My daughter got some squishmallows Bluetooth wireless headphones which she is delighted with! And my son got some science mechanics toy which he was very excited about. My neice got a lovely baby doll (she is 3) I honestly couldn’t recommend this highly enough. The value of torrents were all around £20-25 each and the food is, as always, fantastic. I’m really glad we decided to go, and, most likely, we will be back next year.
• Caz772013 (10/5): Magical Christmas Party At Morley Hayes! - What a fantastic afternoon we had at the Super Hero And Princess Party! The whole family came along with the grandchildren, from start to finish it was full of fun and festive cheer. The afternoon tea was delicious, the disco and DJ had everyone dancing and the staff were absolutely amazing - friendly, helpful and full of Christmas spirit. Santa was spot on and made the experience extra special with a lovely visit and a fabulous gift for every child. The adults enjoyed it just as much as the children (if not more!), and we left feeling happy, festive and full of Christmas magic. Highly recommend - we can’t wait to come back next year!

This year we came to the Princess and Superhero Party. Full of dancing, games and prizes as well as a very generous afternoon tea for all - party boxes for children and traditional high tea for the grown ups. Super quality and amazing service. Food was lovely. Atmosphere was great and family friendly, our son is neurodiverse and they were extremely considerate and attentive. Location is lovely place and easy to get to, staff were great. Rooms and space was tastefully decorated and lovely. Well maintained and clean spaces.

Everything was spotless and thoughtfully prepared, making our stay truly relaxing. Staff: The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. There is a warm, family-like atmosphere throughout the hotel, and everyone made us feel genuinely welcome. Breakfast: Breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of fresh and high-quality options. You can really taste the care that goes into the food. General: The entire hotel is stunning, especially with its gorgeous Christmas decorations that create a magical, cozy ambience. It’s a wonderful place to stay, with excellent service, amazing food, and a truly family-friendly feel. We loved every moment here.

The room had all the facilities that you could ask for, the bed was lovely and comfortable. The Christmas decorations were wonderful. The meals in the restaurant were very nice, good chooine, reasonably priced Nothing to dislike.
• 985ankushm (10/5): 5th Birthday Party - Had an amazing 5th Birthday party for my son at Morley Hayes Hotel :) The staff were just outstanding all the way from the events team to the service team on the day. The celebration spaces are so well decorated, and the whole event flowed perfectly. Thank you to the whole team

Kids got to meet the main man Santa and they all got a lovely gift. It’s our second year of doing this and is set to become a tradition. Brilliant!

• peten358 (10/5): It’s not just for newlyweds! - I booked my elderly parents in here for a mini break as neither of them had been away from home for several years. The staff at the hotel were absolutely amazing. I was invited to visit the hotel beforehand to check room suitability and had a personal tour of every type of room to help me decide. I ended up booking my parents into the ‘Honeymoon’ suite. A magnificent separate bedroom off the homely lounge, overlooking the golf course, made it feel more like an apartment rather than just another hotel room. The hotel receptionist insisted that whatever my parents may need, they would be there for them, stating that it was as much a break for me, as it was for them - how very right she was. From helping them across the car park to the superb roosters restaurant and back for their pre-booked evening meal slot, to making sure there were plenty of biscuits in the room for my father to enjoy. I honestly don’t think the staff could have done anything more to make their mini break just perfect. Thank you so so much for looking after them. I’m sure they’ll be back in spring. A very impressive hotel with impressive views.
• V9270FSjanetg (10/5): A Great Stay!😀 - We stayed for three nights in The Sitwell Suite. The hotel is really comfortable and the staff are very welcoming, it is obviously a happy place to work. We ate in the Roosters restaurant, again the service was excellent, the menu very comprehensive and the food delicious!

I had a problem with my car, and the owner, out of the goodness of his heart, offered to drive me to the mechanic and even to the shop to get some groceries. The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere calm and relaxing – just perfect after a long day. You can really feel that it’s a family-run place where everyone is treated like a guest in their home. The service, the surroundings, and the whole vibe were simply amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

• catherine (10/5): Really nice room and pleasant helpful staff, nice surroundings - We had a complimentary room upgrade to a suite, this was the first time this has happened to us. My husband spent a couple of hours on his own in the room after we checked in, he was able to enjoy the sunshine on the patio. Breakfast was good, lots of choice. It was quite expensive considering there isn’t a spa or a pool, if you aren’t there for the golf, the only entertainment is the restaurants and bars, which means you spend more!

• HMMs (10/5): Good golf break. - Normally when you get a party together for a short golf trip you expect to only get an 'average' experience at best. Not this time. Our group of ladies enjoyed 2 rounds of challenging golf on a course in good condition, very scenic and ( unlike many corporate golf offers) uncrowded. The dinner was superb and breakfast great. The service in the restaurant was very good. Comfortable rooms in the hotel and pleasant staff too. We'll be back!
• bethbW6599UC (10/5): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lovely Anniversary Stay at Morley Hayes! - My husband and I stayed at Morley Hayes to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and we had such a lovely time. The lady on reception was so friendly and she upgraded our room when we checked in and booked us a table at the Roosters Bar for the evening. The room was spotless, the bed was super comfy, and the views were beautiful. We paid a bit extra to have breakfast brought up to the room and it was definitely worth it! Really tasty. The only small downside was that Roosters was really busy, and it took over 40 minutes before we managed to order dessert after our main. My husband had to get someone’s attention in the end as no one came over. Other than that, everything was perfect. The hotel is gorgeous, the staff are lovely, and we’d definitely stay again. Five stars from us! 🌟

• Adventurer513225 (10/5): 30th Wedding Anniversary - We had a lovely time at Morley Hayes celebrating our Black and White theme for our 30th wedding anniversary. The service was great and the staff were professional and polite, and they truly made the day extra special. It’s really important to recognise when staff go above and beyond, and we want to thank the entire team at Morley Hayes. We are so grateful for the care and attention they showed. We also stayed the night and enjoyed breakfast the next morning. The room was clean, and the breakfast was absolutely lovely. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. The buffet at the event was excellent, and everything was organised perfectly. Several of our family members travelled from Bristol and London, and they were impressed with the venue and the whole experience. We would definitely revisit, and recommend Morley Hayes for weddings, christenings, parties, or any special occasion. • Thegeegee74 (10/5): Cracking stay-will be back here again! - A tremendous stay here at Morley Hayes Hotel. Room 215 with a balcony that overlooks the golf course and one of the tees. Large and spacious room which was clean. Comfortable bed and a quiet nights sleep, although you may get the “pinging” off golfers teeing off early in the morning 😂 Not an unpleasant sound and you can always go to the balcony to give words of encouragement 😉 Staff were courteous, friendly and incredibly helpful with any questions or queries. We will return here again at some point as we had a great weekend here. I think a great addition to the amenities here, would be a Spa with Treatments and pool etc. It would make staying here even more enjoyable.

Nothing was too much trouble all staff very friendly. The Hotel was very welcoming rooms very spacious and again nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended
