crisskimball (6/5): Picky, responsible guests stay at a dirty, broken down condo - The condo had a lot of issues. There was a used toilet seat inside the closet blankets had stains on it. The washer and dryer was broken, and the host told us to use it anyhow even though it was a fire hazard. The host called me picky but I took pictures of everything. There was a broken bed there I don’t recommend it.

Tan (6/5): Not a good stay this time around - Location Front desk told me they couldn't find my reservation. Once they found reservation I was told they made a mistake and would have to put us in another room and move us to our original room on Sunday, the next day. Once I got there to check in I was told everything was situated and we would not have to move out the room they gave us. Once we got to room, it was not the same room type I booked, floor looked like it was mopped in greasy water and it was slippery along with empty chip bags were still laying on the floor in the corner. This is our third time my family has stayed here and we were not satisfied this go round.

The stove was dangerous for small children with knobs up front. No safety locks on patio doors. Room needed better cleaning. The pools were heated but they had all doors and panels removed. When the weather is low 70s and high winds area was real good. The pools need better cleaning and no pool towels. They have good water pressure but the bathroom faucets are to hard and shuts water everywhere. One toilet was leaking and lop siding. Never saw any security. Not having house keeping wasn’t on hotels.com. Had to wash your own towels. Only provided 2 trash bags and no dishwasher tabs. Then got email day before stating if trash wasn’t removed and dishes washed would get extra charges. This is a hotel not private condo. Not offering basic house keeping services is ridiculous. Then leaving we had horrible weather. They only seem to have couple of luggage carts. The drop off on side is so small. Totally chaos trying to load vehicle. Just was very disappointed with so many things here. Would not stay here again.

sangean (5/5): - We like the location and view of our room.was spacious and all family fit easily. Furnitures were damaged, room didnt clean properly, mold was in bathroom shower and wall . I move in late so I just had to reclean the whole room my self and make it comfortable. Floor was not vacuum , I could see that it was just sweep off. Bed head had dust from weeks or months. Toys was under bedside table from previous guest. Housekeeping need to pay more attention to details. The list goes on.
Guest (3/5): - The smell of cleaner as I arrived. The view and furniture on the balcony. The holes in the sheets can be fixed. The partial tear in the towel could've been noticed and replaced by housekeeping. The tiles on the floor could have been put back together. The tears in the dining chairs and overall comfort chair could be fixed and/or replaced. Then the where it looked as if the door has been kicked in with missing parts could be fixed and/or replaced with a new door. The television was too complicated to figure out when trying to watch it in the evening.
Brendan (1/5): Absolutely disgusting, infested, outdated, and expensive on top of that - The only good things about this place is that the staff was really nice and of course the location. Our room was absolutely disgusting. The pool area was nasty with debris floating everywhere. You walk into the main elevator area and tiles along the wall are busted up. The elevators were all disgusting. In our room, mold and water damage was everywhere. Almost all of the furniture was broken, water damaged, stained, or just nasty. One of the smoker detectors was unplugged with the battery hanging out of it. Turns out it was like that for a reason because the battery was dead and chirping. There were no additional bedding for our Murphy bed however the phone in our room was also broke so we attempted to call on our personal devices. After 20 minutes of no answer we decided to walk across the street and just ask for a new room. We were given two different rooms to look at and decide from however they were both equally as nasty and worn. One room in particular had a family of roaches chilling in the kitchen sink. We were told there were no other rooms available so we decided to check out that night and had to relocate to a new hotel at 12:00 in the morning. It absolutely ruined the beginning of our vacation. It’s a shame because we used to only stay at the hotel in the mid 2000’s when it was still fairly new. I don’t think a single thing has been fixed or updated since then. Or even cleaned by the looks of it. The only good experience we had was the lady at reception who did everything she could to make the situation better. However there’s only so much she can do when a hotel is a nasty and outdated as this one. I wish I could add more than 4 photos to show how revolted I am that this place is stealing people money and precious vacation time.

Rebecca (9/5): Extended my stay and will be returning. That says it all. - Loved the balcony the most. Right over the beach. You cn also enjoy the rolling surf from inside with the large wall of windows. Loved Camille at reception. Very kind and helpful. Nice young man at the pool was also helpful when i lost an earring. Loved being able to safely go out before dawn, meditate, then stroll the shore for sunrise. The room had a pantry which i really appreciated. Also, the handyman Tony promptly took care of the little things that needed addressing. Really loved having both hot and cold pools, as well as swimming in the ocean. Lifeguards were present on the beach and also rented chairs with umbrellas until Oct.1. The unloading and loading zone was small, but the parking lot was just across the street so not too bad if you had to unload over there. More accessibility to luggage trollies would have been better. I guess some guests just leave them in their rooms, so sometimes there were none available anywhere for new guests to use.

It wasn’t kept up. It was dirty, lights weren’t working. Slippery floors, paints coming off from the bathrooms. Very disappointing

Underland (5/5): The property is in an excellent location but obviously being neglected. - The property is in an excellent location and the layout of the unit was great. There were mildew stains between the tub and door in the bathroom. It looked like no one had ever cleaned in the corners. A large chair in the living area had huge rips. Bedroom furniture was missing hardware and there was only one hangar in the closet.
521danak (4/5): Big Fish 903 - We rented condo 903 Ocean’s One Resort through Big Fish. To say we were disappointment is an understatement. The condo was clearly in need of repairs and up keep. The carpet was torn , baseboards were missing sections and the wall had gouges. In addition, lamp shade was broken and mattress stained. The owner must not have invested in basic maintenance in years. I would not return until significant renovations were done. I talked with another person while I was at the pool who also rented from Big Fish. He said his condo was in terrible shape . He said it looked like a frat party had been going on and that the arms on the couch torn. I had seen some reviews attesting to these things but I just didn’t believe that anything would be rented out in that bad of condition. Well believe it! I also read it was better to rent a condo from an owner instead of the resort itself but that proved wrong also.So I cannot recommend renting condos from Big Fish at Ocean’s One Resort.
candyh957 (2/5): Filthy Drugs and Prostitution - My friends and I rented a 2-bedroom 2 bath condo on Airbnb unit 1801 and it was a nightmare. We booked it and tried to cancel the following day because some other friends told us that it wasn't the best place to stay. The owner refused to refund any of our money. So, when we arrived the condo was nothing like the pictures showed. It was a Saturday afternoon. The sofa had blood stains on it, the refrigerator was leaking water, the dryer vent that looked as if it had never been cleaned with lint built up around a inch thick on the wall, the furnace filter had possibly not been cleaned or changed in years. The bedroom that faces Ocean Blvd mattress was severely stained up. Also, the building itself was not in great condition. The hot tub was filthy, and the indoor pool was not working and also dirty. Safety there is definitely shady happening in this place. Pretty sure people were dealing drugs and our Uber drives said that they had problems with prostitution there. The police and emergency services were there on several occasions the one night we were there, and we walked over to the Wicked Tuna for dinner, and our server told us to not be out after dark and to make sure we stay in groups at all times while walking around the area. We found another place on Sunday and moved up north.

K4152ZKanitad (4/5): Disappointed in the condition of the condo - The condo needs much updating. Shower floor was so slippery, we laid a towel in for a mat. 3 or 4 bulbs burned out. Safety lock gone from door. Shower curtain too short to reach across, allowing water to spray out onto the floor. Sliding glass door lock broken, replaced with a slide bar lock. Needs so much work. I won’t be back.

Kim (9/5): Myrtle Beach Happy Family - Loved the location and the ocean view. Plenty of room for our entire family. The beds were very comfortable. Nice pool area. Air conditioning worked great. Shower pressure was excellent. Two balconies were awesome. Big kitchen too. Bedrooms spaced well apart and having three bathrooms was great. Plenty of linen for all our family. One elevator was not working. Checking out housekeeping staff had second of three occupied at worst time possible at 10 am when everyone scrambling to find a cart for luggage as not enough. Also kept checking if could enter room that last hour. That needs to be improved as guests busy packing. Also there was a nice outside shower to rinse feet off but only enter from inside pool area. Walking back from beach it would be awesome to access as pass right by it.

Lisa (7/5): Best view and location - The location was perfect. Also they have a salt water pool which is awesome. We were having issues with representatives from BOOKING, but the hotel staff was awesome. Special shout out to Wilson. There were wads of hair everywhere. As soon as we opened the door, the bathroom, etc. Also the bathroom floor was not clean around, behind the toilet, and there was lots of areas that hadn't been dusted in a while.
Lori (8/5): Loved the location - great location, right on the beach. And the cost for the week was fantastic. Kitchen was very poorly equipped, we had to go buy several items just to make spaghetti and salad so it was the only meal we made. The room could have been cleaner, the bedroom ceiling had what appeared to be mold on it.

The pictures that were put on the website is not what room we got and also the price was to expensive, never again.

The staff was really nice The room was very outdated, the bathroom was nasty, had to go to Walmart and get stuff to clean the floor. Had to ask twice for pillow cases, sheets and blanket for pullout sofa. The carts to put suitcases on wouldn’t hardly roll. The furniture was old, torn and nasty!

Jada (2/5): - When I arrived to the hotel the front desk person tried to charge me 200.00 extra for the room, I called three times before I came and verified the amount and luckily wrote it down in my phone along with the date. She eventually was honest and said I’ll just charge you what you owe. I paid almost 1,400.00 for a 3 bedroom condo that was not cleaned well at all. Mold all on ceilings, broken chairs, I saw 4 roaches during my stay in our room, dishes dirty and trash under couch and behind dresser in room. No trash bags in the room, and only 1 remote for a 3 bedroom condo. I have a newborn and I was not comfortable at all it was not clean. I called and went to the service desk and they said it was nothing they could do . I would really like some of my money back.

Also did not like having to relaundry towels and bath cloths before us - The property was ocean front and close to several attractions. The room could have been cleaner. Couple of appliances needed to be replaced. No toilet paper holder. Light over shower did not work.
