- Trisha (5/5): Definitely wouldn’t stay there again just for the fact it’s not very clean. - Close to the beach. Friendly staff. Pet friendly. The rooms weren’t very clean we had a 1 yr old with us and she is crawling/starting to walk and her feet and little knees turned black just from crawling on the floors. Under the window/air conditioner there was visible mold growth. Was cheaply priced for a reason. Cleanliness was a big issue. Had a weird smell. Advertised inside pool but that’s not the case you have to go next door to Bermuda sands and use that pool but the pool inside isn’t heated and is super cold not very enjoyable.

- Savanah (10/5): The best stay ever! - We had such an amazing stay at Bar Harbor! The location is absolutely perfect — beautiful ocean views, easy beach access, and such a relaxing atmosphere overall. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a peaceful little getaway. What truly made this experience stand out though was the incredible customer service from the manager, Randall. When my card declined through Booking, he was beyond understanding and helpful during such a stressful moment. He made sure everything was taken care of and had everything ready for us the day of check-in, which honestly made such a huge difference. Check-in and check-out were both unbelievably easy and smooth, and the entire stay felt welcoming from start to finish. It’s hard to find places anymore that genuinely make you feel cared about as a guest, but this hotel absolutely did. This will definitely be my go-to hotel from now on anytime I come to Myrtle Beach. Highly recommend! 🌊☀️🏖️ It was perfect

- Craycraft (8/5): They say there is other parking at realtors, absolutely not convenient to take other people over - Everyone was very nice, nice to have a clean restroom close to beach, everything on outside was clean, parking was easy Bad toaster, light in microwave didn’t work, bad lighting in whole condo, all wood chairs old not safe, a lot of food/stuff under cushions,, so not al clean as I’d like, I thought the pool was to be heated in April, so didn’t get to use it and it’s in the price to have a pool, you have a 2 bedroom condo and 2 cars coming from different directions can’t drive together, one car pass unacceptable, outside of not enough car passes I liked it
- Shondell (1/5): Catfished by a hotel room - I love the location it was in. To start it all of at check-in, a customer was already complaining about the bugs in her room. At that moment I knew this wasn't going to be good. As we entered the elevator it smelled and I didn't know if we was going to make it to the 7th floor. When we entered the room I started with the bathroom doing my inspection..there was mold in the shower and a hole in the bathroom ceiling. There was rust in the bathroom sink...there were holes in the sheets and you could smell the carpet..the lamp were rusted ....the only thing that was nice in the room was the picture on the wall but it was dusty..the only reason why we roughed it is because we couldn't find anything else because it was bikers week and there wasn't any vacancy at any other hotels. It was my birthday weekend and we had traveled over 500 miles to get there...there was no turning around so,with that being said don't get catfished by the pictures on the websites those pictures are very old. - Daniel (2/5): We will be back to the beach, but not these accommodations - The beach was beautiful and it was less than 1/10 mile from the pier the seafood buffet was a 10 minute walk and the hotel is close to a lot of Amenities in the area The property is the bare minimum for simply needing a bed to spend the night we opted for room 208 with a window view instead of a balcony and paid $53 a night and I think we barely got what we paid for the floor was sticky and disgusting. The door looked like it had been kicked off the hinges no less than three times where the kick plate barely held the door in place you could shake the whole door frame and wall simply by pushing on the door handle the air-conditioning did not work whatsoever in the room was over 90° both nights we stayed there. The hotel may have been pet friendly, but it seemed like no one enforced cleaning up after their animals as there are droppings everywhere outside the security is also greatly lacking, there are no cameras. Most of the security lights are burnt out, and there is nowhere near enough parking for guests the only way to really remedy this if the rest of the rooms are in this state of poor disrepair would be to completely overhaul the entire complex and or tear it down there’s not much you can do with what’s left of these rooms. It is our first day back home now and our items are currently in quarantine because on our last day there we opened the drawer for the first time that was underneath the TV stand, and there was a cockroach running around inside of it so not only are the rooms in absolute disrepair, but they have bugs. I would be worried about the bed, but we spray and use our own sheets when we stay the night and places like this in my opinion, if I ever go back to Myrtle Beach, we will definitely be looking for a higher cost room like we usually do and this was a great lesson at taking advantage of discount rooms on Booking.com overall though as long as you’re using it simply to sleep in and can stand sweltering heat due to non-working air-conditioning the room barely fits what you need
- Victoria (1/5): The worst experience I’ve ever had 😩 - The fact that it was by the ocean I didn’t like they called ahead to tell me the elevator was broken and I’m on the 4 th floor. Second we get there and it looks like an old motel 6 no remodeling. The pictures aren’t what the rooms really look like. The TV didn’t work and to top it off after all that walking up and down those steps we turn to take a shower and no wash cloths, towels nothing. We checked right in, then out. We had to pay upfront and that shouldn’t be an option taking our money before we even get to see what the location looks like the rooms was not something you would stay in on a vacation. You really wouldn’t think they would be in business. The parking lot packed so you would have to park across the street with your things then walk up to 10 flights of stairs just to find out it’s an trap hotel (trap is where they sale d**gs and vijayjay) and there is no towels nothing. 🤦🏽♀️ 0/10 don’t recommend booking is wrong for even having them as a listing. That is horrible and definitely not work paying $100 for that room is worth $20 and $20 for the view so $40 no tax. Then they had the nerve to charge me $30 for a resort fee WHATTTT!!! What resort ? I swear omg just go there and look at the hotel explain to me what makes you all a resort ? Look at the rooms, no no no no no I’m sorry I didn’t stay long enough to see if they had bugs and I didn’t touch the bed. Once I see no towels and yall gave me a paper stating no daily cleans so wtf excuse my French but come on now. I started itching just walking into the room. Look just don’t do there not waste ya money. Spend that $125 a night at Westgate or a real resort .

- Lucille (1/5): Not Used to This - The lady at the desk was nice and a pleasure, she even gave us her personal plastic cups because this place do not provide cups or ice buckets so you have to put your ice in a trash bag. The man on the other hand had an weird attitude the entire time. I guess he was mad that i accidentally locked myself out the room. We usually stay next door...but they we full. We had to wait all day for clean towels. We had 2 rooms and they both had trash under and behind the sofa. There was a huge block of asphalt in the parking lot, that is poorly lit, that my brother fell over and hurt himself, but didn't bother to report it. So our trip was not what we had i mind for our guests and their anniversary!!

I do not recommend anyone to stay there. We stayed that one night and was lucky to have found a decent room and still had a great ocean view a Lil extra cash but better then that damp.

We asked for extra pillows and only got extra sheets that we didn’t ask for (only two pillows that were super flat on the bed). I go in the bath room and an open half used roll and a new wrapped roll was on the back of the toilet. You ask why bc the toilet paper holder was only half there. The sink had burn stains all of it and wood splitting. The other door wouldn’t lock or stay shut. There was only an outside pool there and if we wanted inside pool we had to go next door. We went next door and as soon as we got there a worker came flying in and said she was closing the pool. Pool closes at 10 we were there at 9. After that we checked out. I booked on booking and my total was supposed to be 179 got there and hotel charged 185. That doesn’t make sense. We checked out by 1130 and front desk said sorry no refunds. When we got there hadn’t really looked as stuff bc we went straight to the beach for last bite of sunlight and then ate out. If I would’ve seen this all earlier I would’ve been gone as soon as I walked in.

- Nichole (1/5): I checked in to see my room and went right back down to check out as I would never stay there alone let alone with my ch - Nothing. The property was absolutely disgusting. I would never stay some where like this alone let alone with my children. This type of environment would have my children taken away from me if I lived in these conditions so I don’t understand how this hotel thinks it’s an environment for a vacation with children. After driving 17 hours straight with a few short stops to stretch and gas up I was exhausted and so were my children. When we first got there it was dark and there was people just hanging around out side like it was a club. When I went inside the lady wasn’t that friendly and seemed annoyed, she also told me to make sure I had all I needed before 1130 as they wouldn’t be available after that and if I was to get locked out then my children and I would be locked out till staff returned in the morning. Felt super unsafe knowing I’d be alone and no staff on the property if some thing was to happen. I then go up to the room with my children to let my son use the bathroom. The elevator was unsafe, felt like it was going to let loose and fall at any moment. The door to the room looked like it had been broken into at some point. The room was disgustingly gross and looked like all they do is go in and make the bed, not even change the bedding. The Kitchen stove if used would have definitely caused a fire. The bathroom tiles in the bathtub were falling off and broken with black mold on the wall. The floor was full of dirt and looked as if it hasn’t been washed or swept in a long time. The balcony looked unsafe to stand on, we were on the 8th floor. They also definitely have bed bugs. The stairs in the hall way had graffiti and trash all over as well as smelled like it was being used as a public outdoor toilet. Just so so much more but this is all I have time to share at the moment.

I would rather sleep in my car or a bench ou - Ocean front This place is so dated and needs a complete renovation. Everything about this property made me wanna puke— the elevator ride felt and sounded like I was on a 100 year old roller coaster. The “balcony” was a window that you could only see thru.

The room we got (king), was not clean and there was a bag of trash outside the door. The wifi was not working for that room and the walls had holes in it everywhere (probably shouldn't have rented it to anyone). The furniture was very old and the TV had a old black board in front of it (needs updates for sure). The room that you waited for the elevator in smelled like someone urinated in it.

- Rachel (1/5): Absolutely disgusting - Absolutely nothing was good about this place. It reeked of marjuana. The elevators were not working in the entire bldg. The room smelled horrible and was dirty. Dirty walls,dirty floors, holes in the wall, fleas in the room.

- Kia (2/5): Very disappointed and will not stay there again - Nothing Rooms were dirty and very out dated, poor access to the beach, tv only worked half the time, terrible parking, no water pressure in dirty shower, carpet was sticky, pool was dirty.

- Igcksoni (1/5): Terrible - The only good thing about the hotel is the location The rooms need to be remodeled, at first glance you can see that they have not been cleaned well for a long time. It looks like a roadside hotel, let’s not even talk about the bathroom. We had to order the towels at reception, no staff came to clean in 4 days, the pool was with water from a year ago, completely dirty. The plus was that I made a date change and the amount changed, the hotel never approved it. But when we arrived he did have the change of date but a completely different price, which is absurd! Do I recommend it? NO! I hope they soon do the right remodeling for the summer
- William (2/5): - Good location fair price, bathroom clean, ac and fridge worked fine, staff was friendly Poor condition property, balcony covered in bird feces, elevator broke down but was repaired, at times directly outside of office looked like a garage sale or homeless encampment, wifi never worked, very musty smell in room, staff was never there on time in morning and is not staffed the entire day only 8am to midnight so if anything happens during that time your own your own, phone in room didnt work, was given no info packet or paperwork that u get with most places upon checkin, no ice bucket provided

- Whitney Warren (1/5): Dirty. - The view from the balcony. The room had mold, smelled like cigarettes and weed, dirty, no towels or wash cloths. Bathroom sink had red stains from who knows what. The hotel room door didn’t shut all the way, very unsafe. The middle door that closed off the second room didn’t have a door nob.

- Barry (5/5): - It was spacious had a kitchen which was a plus and the view was great from the balcony I just think there should be towels and blankets to be used especially the blankets because we were foreigners we are not accustom to the cold like that and the pipes were sending different water signals red is hot but it was cold blue was hot then the wifi sucked we were not able to access our phones or even the television
- Billie Jo (1/5): It’s disgusting, filthy and unsafe. - Disgusting and filthy. Full trash bags left in hall overnight. Sheets on 2 of 3 beds were dirty. Place smelled. As if that was not enough, there homeless people sleeping in halls on the morning we left and a room that was running drugs out of it. Had to let water run for 20 minutes and even after that it was lukewarm. The elevator did not work in the building I’ll stayed. The second shift employee is rude Filthy, homeless people, drugs, equipment not working

- Rebecca (2/5): Will not book here ever again! - Nothing No hot water for the first day! Other people let they dogs pee all over the balcony! They let the dogs poop beside ur vehicles! Pee all over your tires! Smells like a wet dog inside the room! Gave a password for free Wifi but couldn't never hook to it! The king room i got for my adult kids smelled like mold! The TV didn't work! Wifi wouldn't even reach the room.
