- Andrew (9/5): Was a really quick stay for us but a place to fill our tummies and lay our heads it was amazing. - We checked in very late, they kept the kitchen open for us so we could get some food! In the rooms were treated with complimentary water bottles that were very much needed after a long travel day. There were even packaged ear plugs provided with a friendly heads up there may be some noise in our location. We had one of the smallest rooms in the facility which really was not a problem, we knew this going into it and absolutely adored it, was everything we wanted out of that value. The reason I mention it, is because it was a small room, the heater/ac unit that is on the wall is pretty close, maybe a few feet from that side of the bed so when the heat kicked on it was not quiet and may have woken us up a time or two.

- Cole (9/5): I love - Excellent location and the cafe/bar was so convenient. Having in-house food and lounges makes it feel less like a hotel and more like a getaway. Food/drinks at the cafe were a little pricey, but very, very good.

- Linda (8/5): - The breakfast was unique and delicious in the quaint Bistro setting. Crepes and coffee by the fireplace was a great way to spend a bitter-cold morning. No complaints.

Earplugs on the nightstand, ac was leaking so the carpet was wet, noisy pipes, very basic room that was double the price of a bigger and nicer place at a lower rated hotel. Staff was extremely friendly and professional.

The hotel was renovated, but my room wasn't cleaned particularly well. Some of the surfaces hadn't been wiped down and the carpeting had a lot of staining and it's probably time to replace it with something darker. Overall, the staff made it a really pleasant stay and it worked well for the one night I needed.

The shower was very small with no lighting. Bathroom had poor lighting. No hangars provided to hang clothes. The room wasn’t big enough for a chair so we had to sit on the bed.

They have the best food in town, an excellent wine selection, and wonderful crafted cocktails. The staff is also top notch. They get to know their regulars and truly care about their guests.

- Jamie (10/5): Wonderful Small Hotel - Hotel Rapids was a wonderful hotel to stay in! The staff was all super friendly and when we had to switch rooms because of a security issue they offered to help us out with moving our stuff to the new room. I love that they were so approachable about things and made sure the stay was as comfortable as it could be. The only complaints we really had were that we wished the showerheads were adjustable and that the mattress in our room probably needs be replaced as we sank into the middle area of the mattress and the outside edges were still nice and firm.

- Sue (9/5): We absolutely love staying at Hotel Rapids from the warm hospitality to the cozy rooms, and a nice bistro with yummy foo - Love the nostalgia of an old property being refurbished for today. The rooms are cozy and nicely decorated. Excellent, friendly staff and of course the crepes in the bistro, so yummy! Nothing major, the bottom shower trim is rotted and should be replaced. It appeared that some touch up painting was done in the bathroom and it was quite noticeable. Both issues not a deal breaker.

- Thomas (5/5): Not what I expected. - The beds were nice and soft. The bacon was good. The breakfast was mostly crepes or oatmeal. We were on the second floor and there is no elevator. We had to carry our bags upstairs. Our room didn't have heat so we had to sleep in a different room. We opted not to carry all of our things to the other room because it was at the other end of the hotel. We parked at the end of the building where our original room was located so we would have had to find a spot at the other end of the motel to carry our things down to the parking lot or carry them all the way back to the stairway where our original room was. We weren't given a discount on our stay for the inconvenience.

- Dana (8/5): Quaint - Booked for weekend trip. Cute remodeled motel. Check-in was easy, but they do not take American Express. Had to separate reservations that they were able to combine. Room was good, however, reservation said queen size beds and they were full. Talked with front desk and was told this is the size of beds in all rooms, except the one that has a king. Bathroom was small, but worked. Carpeting in our room needed to be pulled. The Bistro/Bar is cute and service was great, just wished they were open a little earlier for breakfast. Sauna was a touch. Overall cute idea
