The room was quite and comfortable , good location in lower Manhattan There were two very strange issues with housekeeping , first we didn’t get an extra toilet paper, so after three nights we found ourself in the middle of night with nothing -not pleasant , another issue was that every day after cleaning we had one towel less than the previous day (though we hanged them - not to be replaced) first went the face and hand towels than the floor mat, when we ended with only one body towel we asked for towels which arrived a few minutes later.
- Olivia (9/5): Great stay! - Spacious, stylish, and quiet (not a given in NYC!). The 2 full bathrooms in the deluxe 1 bedroom King were very handy for our family. We ran out of time to use the gym but it looked very well equipped. Front-desk staff was very pleasant and helpful! Interestingly, there were lots of closets throughout (more than anyone would use during a short-term stay); all the extra room in the bedroom could easily be turned into a second bedroom and it still wouldn't feel crammed. The sofa bed was very squeaky and therefore unusable as-is so we put the mattress directly on the floor. Windows don't open.

Hvis man vil have et lyst værelse med masser af fed udsigt, så skal man vælge et andet hotel. Men hvis man kender området, så ved man at bygningerne er høje og ligger ret tæt, så det er vilkårene for et ophold på Mint House 70.

- Fabrice (10/5): Big rooms in a classy art deco hotel close to Wall Street and subway - Big room. Not the classic layout for hotel rooms. We got a room with some kind of living room "area" separating the bedroom from the rest with steps, giving the whole place a 3 levels dimension. Nice and classy. Big TV screen, lots of channels. Lot of space to store belongings. Cool sofa and chair. Rather spacious bathroom as well. 2 sinks, large mirrors, a shower with 2 showerheads (1 fixed / 1 handheld) and a bathtub. Very quick elevator. Only little noise from other rooms and corridor (maybe we were lucky the whole week). Easy to use safe. The hotel has a distinctive art deco style with chromes, metals... Several entrances onto Pine and Cedar streets. Some shops close to the hotel (or inside 70 Pine). We can recommand a very good small Japanese restaurant on Cedar St: Goku Kitchen NYC. The hotel is a stroll away from the subway lines 2 and 3. Broadway street with plenty of is 5 min away if you walk at a leisurely pace. The codes we had to enter for the elevator were a bit long. It happened that we reached the 3rd or 4th floor once I had entered the whole code (we were on 2nd floor). The hotel itself is located inside "70 Pine", in a corner. Some more indications would be a plus (I first waited at another desk that had nothing to do with the hotel itself).

The location was perfect — very close to subway stations, restaurants, and major attractions, which made traveling around Manhattan very convenient with family and kids. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. We especially liked the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful building, and the overall organization of the property. One thing we really appreciated was how quiet the place was — despite being in Manhattan, there was very little noise, which made the stay very relaxing and comfortable. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free, and the staff/support team was responsive and helpful whenever needed. The amenities were very useful for a longer stay, and the stay felt safe and comfortable throughout our trip. Considering the location, room quality, and amenities provided, it was truly great value for money compared to many other options in Manhattan. It was a great experience overall, and we truly enjoyed our time here. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting New York City.

- Mark (8/5): - Goede locatie, dichtbij metro. Heel ruim appartement waardoor je niet op elkaars lip hoeft te zitten met een gezin. Mooi ingericht. Goed tweepersoonsbed, daarnaast nog een slaapbank. Meerdere locaties voor eten dichtbij, aangezien je ook een eettafel/keuken hebt, zeer geschikt om eten af te halen. We zaten op de 6e verdieping; leek erg rustig en goed geïsoleerd. We kwamen er de laatste dagen achter dat de isolatie tussen de appartementen zeer beperkt was aangezien we de halve nacht een baby hoorde huilen en een klein kind hoorde rondrennen in het appartement naast ons.

Super anche la gentilezza del personale della reception e il servizio di deposito bagagli. Tutto è andato molto bene. Gli unici aspetti da segnalare sono: il divano letto scricchiola appena; per due giorni non sono stati forniti gli asciugamani in camera, ma la reception è molto gentile e disponibile a rimediare prontamente.

Towels were provided and the room was cleaned daily. The room was perfect for our family of 4. Very close to a subway entrance. Sometimes the comforter cover was just 2 sheet covers instead of a proper cover. There also isn't really a view from the apartment. Otherwise everything was amazing.

- jrsl2026 (10/5): A roomy delight at a good price. - The 1 bedroom, sleeps 6, was very spacious and laid out well. We made use of the living room and dining spaces while listening to records, which was such a delight. The kitchen area was spacious though we only used it for make tea and having local pastries. The storage was incredible. If you were staying in the city for a longer chunk of time this would be a great choice. We were sorry to leave after just one night. It was quiet, clean and soothing, a great break from our adventures around the city. We really appreciated having two bathrooms as we traveled with another couple. It was so much less expensive for us to stay here than to get two hotel rooms at a big chain hotel, and we got so much more space to hang out and relax together. My only suggestion to Mint House would be to have a room divider curtain or screen to give more separation/ seclusion to the non bedroom sleeping area. I am looking forward to my next adventure in the city just so I can stay here at Mint House!

- Carla (7/5): Too many codes - The location is fantastic if you want to be close to the financial district, which we did. It's also close to lots of subway stops, so really everything is close by. The staff is very friendly and the room is nice. I don't like the constant need for codes. You need a code to get the elevator to move and then another one for your room. If your hands are full, you'll never make it. Also, I didn't like 2 steps up to get into the bathroom. It's very inconvenient in the middle of the night. It would help if there was some kind of night light in the bathroom. We also did not receive maid service for the 3 days we were there.

I really wanted a place with a microwave and fridge, imagine my shock when I found out it also had a dishwasher! The location is great, with Crown Shy, Sage, and Overstory nearby. The staff were fantastic. I requested an early check-in, and they were able to accommodate me three hours early! They were also very responsive to all of my questions. I can’t wait to stay here again.

Anche il bagno molto spazioso con doppio lavandino Da una struttura che si eleva come la migliore di nyc, mi aspettavo un servizio diverso, decisamente migliore. Partendo dal fatto che fossi andata il primo giorno a chiedere le posate, perché la stanza le prevedeva poiché presente anche il microonde: come avrei dovuto mangiare il cibo scaldato? Io boh. Secondo, non hanno cambiato penso mai i bicchieri, sempre sporchi della colazione, abbiamo dovuto farlo presene svariate volte e comunque li hanno lasciati macchiati di latte della colazione; al che li abbiamo lavati con il sapone per le mani (lascio voi trarre le conclusioni). Gli asciugamani dopo il terzo li hanno ridotti ad 1 a testa, anche lì doversi lamentare alla reception. Polvere abbastanza onnipresente in stanza. Non penso riprenderei la stessa decisione di alloggiarci se non per la posizione.

Éramos 4 adultos y estuvimos muy a gusto, con 2 baños (esperábamos uno), armarios para todos y aunque 2 dormimos en sofá cama fue bastante cómodo. Cada día venían a limpiar y nos reponían el café. Estación de metro al lado donde podías llegar a Times square en 15 minutos. Sin duda lo recomiendo y volvería a alojarme. Por poner alguna pega, el agua de la ducha no tenía mucha presión.

Walking distance to ferries for Statue of Liberty, 9/11 memorial, Brooklyn Bridge and near subway to reach midtown and Central Park area. 70 Pine Street is a lovely art deco building now converted into the apartment hotel, cafes, restaurants and rooftop bar. Apartment was very comfortable, well-equipped and quiet. Would definitely stay here again . I had a fall during my visit and it was hard to reach our apartment on crutches. Would be useful to have a wheelchair on the premises to assist access to apartments., Having said that it was easy to hire one online..

FiDi is also a bit calm in the evenings and gets little light due to how close the buildings are to each other.

- 203nimaf (10/5): Great weekend getaway for a reasonable price - Great experience. The place was essentially a huge apartment and not a hotel room. Parking was tight, being that it was downtown Greenville, but we managed to find a space everyday. Hotel is in great walking distance to everything. The price compared to other downtown hotels was a solid value.
