Unica pecca la strada per raggiungere il borgo, che nonostante sia asfaltata è molto stretta e a tratti sconnessa.

• Tanja (9/5): Atemberaubender Ausblick - Die Terrasse und der Ausblick sind sensationell. Ein absolutes Highlight. Süßes Häuschen. In die Wohnung müsste wieder ein wenig mehr zeit gesteckt werde. Empfehlungen sind noch aus den Anfänge, Sauberkeit war ok, aber mit etwas Luft nach oben.. auf den Weg den Berg hoch muss man sich einstellen, der Blick hat es wett gemacht.

• James (10/5): We feel very much “at home”. It is cosy, relaxed and feels “lived in” - Some might consider it a bit too isolated as it is a bit of a distance from any amenities and up a steep road, but we love the tranquility of being away from the noise of the town (and the main road) and it gives us the benefit of a beautiful view as well. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed and air conditioning makes it comfortable in the heat. We have stayed in this property for over 20 years and have seen some significant improvements being made over this period. We know this property extremely well and therefore there is nothing that we dislike about it. Whilst it is not an issue for us, potential guests should be aware that there may be other tenants living close to this property (as there are other “dependences” that are part of the main property) and therefore it may not be completely “isolated” as implied.

• Tasarla (9/5): A great little spot to chill! - Beautiful view, great little spot for the two of us to relax, cook, enjoy the view or a movie after a big day exploring the coast & beaches of monte argentario. A lot of the western side of the island can be tricky in a rental car due to the narrow roads, some unsealed roads, and limited parking. We would recommend not using a car, and simply hiring scooters to explore the best parts of the island.
• Bethany (10/5): Fabulous stay - Gorgeous property with stunning views. Lots of places to sit and gather comfortably, inside and outside. Beautiful decor. The owner lives in an adjacent house, he is delightful and extremely helpful with suggestions and setting up reservations or private in-house chef. We would all go back in a heartbeat.
• Neil (10/5): Burnt into our loved life experience. - Everything. Privacy, seclusion, views, peacefulness and that only comes from being high in hills at the end of the road. This venue will allow wellness if you turn off your tech, cook for yourself and burn the vistas into your soul, absorb your partner in the silence of the moment and envelope yourself in the moment that is here. Getting there is a challenge however so, so worth it. Do not give up as we all survive it. Enter the gate, see the villas or the big house and you will feel OMG. You need a car to optimise the experience. Get your supplies at the COOP in Porto Santa Stefano for a romantic feast. I feel you will sense we loved Borgo Delgi Ulivi. It is forever tattooed into our lived memories. Take the challenge, push your limits , experience the same. Take bug repellent for the 5:00 to 7:00pm time zone. Mosquitoes love this venue as well. All the windows and doors (we stayed in the one bedroom Villa) have insect screens so it never is a problem.

• Brady (10/5): Property may be hard to get to, but the views and accommodation was worth the drive! It was a highlight on my family’s t - Amazing views and private swimming pool. Although you were among other accommodations, we never really saw any other neighbors which made it feel like we had the entire top of the mountain to ourselves. Mid-meal prep the stovetop turned off so we had to reach out to the host. Although it was a Friday evening the host got back to us timely and walked us through how to fix the problem.

• Nicole (10/5): Loved the location and the house - a peaceful place to relax...We will be back... - While the house is a fair drive up the hill, it does have the benefit of a wonderful view as well as the peace and serenity that comes with being isolated. Blasco (The Owner) was extremely helpful on all fronts and any small issues were dealt with immediately. The house is well laid out and there is enough parking for two cars. The aircon is a must these days and all rooms had it. It has a wonderful cosy charm which means that it is as nice to stay here in the winter as it is in the summer. There is nothing that we did not like. We have stayed here many times and so we are used to the place. If there was any points for others to note... it is that it is quite a steep drive up the mountain to get to...so beware joggers, walkers and cyclists. Most importantly, it was clean and the host was extremely attentive to our needs. While there is enough crockery in the house to host a wedding, entertaining is really limited to 8 people due to the space outside and the available chairs and there are neighbours in close proximity, so one has to be mindful of not making alot of noise at night.

Everything was great, but the drive up the mountain really is crazy, especially the first time (when you're not sure where you're going and also because we encountered vehicles coming down the mountain). But, we managed and the next few times coming up were not as bad.

• Claire (10/5): Fantastic. We would return. - The Views were amazing. The villa was spacious, tastefully decorated and well appointed. All equipment and appliances you would want or need were provided. The out door seating, dining area and pool area were all comfortable and well maintained. Air conditioning and WiFi were good. Blasco the host was was fantastic. He welcomed us to the villa and provided lots of useful local information, especially when our daughter needed medical attention. We loved our stay. We had no issues with the property. The road up to the villa is steep with many tight turns. It was not an issue for us but may be an issue for a nervous driver.
