- Timothy (10/5): A perfect stay - In the heart of the Saint-Joseph and Hermitage Wine regions, this is a little gem of a hotel. Ideally situated for exploring this wonderful region of France. Very friendly staff, comfortable and modern rooms in a lovely old building in the centre of the town. Very good breakfast. All in all, everything was excellent. We shall return

- Cindy (10/5): Très bon hôtel - Hôtel au cadre de charme très agréable et calme. Le personnel est très serviable. Ne vous fiez pas à la façade banale, passez la porte et laissez vous surprendre pas l’atmosphère chaleureuse.

Toiletdøren havde automatisk lukning og lukke med et brag, kunne ikke stå åben. Der var ingen minibar. Værelset kunne have bedre restaureret, man ville ikke lægge noget ind i skabet. Personalet var venligt og imødekommende. Og der var pænt rent.

- John (6/5): Disappointing, - Disappointing, It's not a four Star hotel more an upmarket Bed and Breakfast, has no restaurant and the service is limited.
- Emmanuelle (6/5): - Joli établissement dans une demeure ancienne de caractère mais rapport qualité / prix pas satisfaisant. Nous avons payé 217 € la chambre. Il n’y avait pas de plateau de courtoise, la chambre bien qu’assez spacieuse était sous le toit, avec des petites ouvertures. Attention à la tête si vous mesurez plus d’1m80. Décoration générale trop épurée voir pas terminée par endroits.

- Gert (10/5): Fantastisk, intet mindre - Bag den lille dør åbner der sig en ny standard for hoteller. Der lækreste byhus renoveret til topklasse. Overraskende godt og virkelig lækre værelse med komfort i topklasse. Gode senge, gode faciliteter og super behageligt personale. At der ikke findes en egentlig restaurant på stedet er en skam, da det store fokus på lokale råvare er et plus. De skal passe på de ikke prøver for meget. 2 nætter på et stop-over blev et super godt minde og jeg håber jeg en en dag kan komme tilbage og nyde det skønne hotel og de smukke haver.

Vi blev vädigt förvånade över att intet fanns att äta på kvällen. Stämmer inte med bilderna på hotel.com. Parkering ca 500 m från hotellet. Slottsmiljö över rum och matsal. OBS inget internet på rummet. Överdådig miljö och betjäning till frukost men smal meny.
- STEPHANE (10/5): Charme et professionnalisme. - Nous sommes restés 3nuits dans cet hôtel. Nous n'avions pas choisit la chambre car nous avons réservé le jour même. Nous avons eu la première nuit une chambre sous les combles, grande confortable et toilettes séparées mais manquant cruellement de luminosité. Nous avons demandé à changer pour les deux nuits suivantes et nous avons pu avoir une chambre coté rue au premier étage, lumineuse confortable avec baignoire. La propreté des lieux est exemplaire, le personnel est discret efficace et attentif à vos désirs. Un modèle du genre. L'emplacement ne permet pas de stationner facilement seulement quelques places en zone bleue ou un parking payant à 300m et assurez vous que votre GPS est à jour pour ne pas vous retrouver coincé dans des petites rues en sens interdit! Merci à toute l'équipe des ce charmant hotel.

Pleasant courtyard where breakfast, snacks and drinks could be served. Lovely garden at roof level rewards the climb. Helpful staff. Good restaurants nearby.
- Christine (6/5): Cher pour la prestation - L'hôtel est mignon, la chambre jolie et le personnel agréable, mais 180 euros (sans petit dej) pour une chambre avec 2 toutes petites fenêtres au ras du sol (donc un peu sombre) et pas de parking , je trouve çà cher et limite par rapport au standing d'un 4 * .

As it’s located in town- the rooms facing the street can be noisy at times. Service is incredibly friendly and helpful. Brekkie is delicious. They do an express for €10 which was enough. Coffee was amazing. Great showers and comfy beds.

The rooms and service were outstanding, the staff were welcoming and contributed to making our time at the hotel something to remember. And the inner gardens...marvellous! We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel de la Villeon and would definitely recommend this location!

- christian (10/5): Et rent eventyr i Rhone - Eventyrligt hotel, med en service, jeg ikke i årevis har oplevet andre steder i Europa. Rent over alt, eventyrlig have, dejlige værelser, og suverænt badeværelse. Fantastisk smukt (når man kommer indendørs, facaden er fredet som ejendommen, så man ser den ikke lige med det samme) æstetisk og harmonisk ombygning af en gl. velhaverbolig. Et must for et vinelskende par, der ønsker noget usædvanligt.

Le jardin avec magnifique vue sur les vignes de Tain l'hermitage et très agréable. Tout était parfait, il ne manque plus que la piscine ! Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment, merci !
- ri (8/5): Good location in Hermitage - Good location but they changed the street to a one way. Navigation did not have it making it challenging to get there. Also, not well marked on the street. You would not know a hotel was there. Wifi is ok but it logs you out after 1 minute of non use. Also, filters access to normal sites and some app's. Breakfast just ok. Staff makes up for it faults.

- François (10/5): Superbe ! - Nous avons réservé une chambre dans ce très bel hôtel pour un petit week-end en amoureux et nous n'avons pas été déçu ! Hôtel magnifique avec escalier classé, terrasse extérieure pour le bar avec une vue imprenable sur le château et le domaine Chapoutier... L'accueil était parfait, seul petit bémol, pas de possibilité de régler la clim, on ou off seulement, et les rideaux ne sont pas occultants. Je recommande chaudement !
