Guest Reviews
- Jaaziel (10/5): - Everything was clean and the staff were very helpful and accomodating. I wouldn't say it's something I didn't like but construction was going on, we were so tired we didn't notice at all though!

- Hank J (10/5): Highly recommendable family hotel - The hotel is run as a family business, and by what a nice, friendly, and welcoming family! It is located in St James, a safe middle class neighbourhood (avoid Downtown by all means), in a modern and beautiful house, and with 24h reception. I received one of the king-size bedrooms with a wonderful bathroom/shower. Whenever I had a question, I got good advice about where to go. At one point, I met Mr Colin, the head of family, and I felt I knew him already from the extremely polite responses to reviews (even those from clearly odd guests:-)). I always choose properties that do not charge the price of the total reservation, if the guest has to cancel after (an often very early) deadline, though these are rare in Port of Spain; Culture Crossroads is one of them. Nothing really. I had a problem with my air condition, which initially rattled. The hotel immediately called in service, which is remarkable, and also offered me another room with a slightly more silent AC. I stayed in my room and the AC then at times switched off automatically. However, it was not a huge problem, and even without AC not too hot and humid. -- The hotel does no longer offer breakfast, which would have been nice. I recommend going to the Upper Crust bakery (about 400m away), where I had the best sandwich I could have hoped for. Strangely, the a supermarket at the end of the street closes at 8pm, and their food court even at 7pm!! For a really good meal, go to The Avenue, restaurant 'Fifty Toucans. Nice tours: take the water taxi from Port of Spain to San Fernando and book a tour to the northern beaches with Viator or Get Your Guide (public transport is rare and unreliable).

The atmosphere of the inn is cozy and culturally rich, offering a lovely blend of local charm and comfort.
My room was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the essentials, including reliable Wi-Fi and air conditioning. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches in the décor that gave a strong sense of Trinidadian identity. It felt more like a home away from home than a typical hotel.
The location is convenient, tucked away in a quiet area but still close enough to restaurants, shops, and transportation hubs. It’s a great base for anyone exploring Port of Spain or the surrounding areas.
I would absolutely recommend Culture Crossroads Inn to anyone looking for an authentic and comfortable stay in Trinidad. I’ll definitely be back!

The bathroom was lovely, with a shower that you wouldn't be out of place in a 5-star hotel. The whole hotel was modern, stylish and a pleasure to be in. There is so much to do nearby as the neighbourhood has enough food places that you could eat each meal in a new different restaurant for months.
- Clement (8/5): Very good - Staff was friendly and helpful The wifi access kept dropping 8

- S (10/5): - My stay here was very comfortable, clean and safe. Do not let the outside fool you. It's definitely in a different universe. I'd highly recommend.
- Richardson (5/5): It was adequate for transition stay. - It was clean. The shower was AMAZING! and the had a tea/coffee station that was accessible and had all my favourite drinks. Bed was not comfortable. Bill no restaurant on the property that I could see to accommodate 1 night stay travellers.
- Manuel (7/5): Good - The Inn has comfortable and simple rooms at a good price. It is located not far from points of interest such as One Woodbrook Place or downtown St. James. I prefer natural ventilation over air conditioning, but unfortunately that was very difficult with the small windows that the room had. Also, the street outside is fairly busy, so there is quite a bit of noise.
- André (10/5): Looking for a home away from home? Culture Crossroads Inn is the place for you! - Looking for a home away from home? Tired of mass-market hotel chains? Want an authentic experience? Culture Crossroads Inn is the place for you! Colin and Donna and their team are gracious and heartwarming hosts who go the extra mile to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. They provided me with regular updates on cultural events and gave me a great insight into their country. I booked for 2 weeks and extended for another 2 weeks.
Breakfast was excellent, with fruit, vegetables and a daily choice of more continental or more Trinidadian flavours. Trust Donna's suggestions blindly, it doesn't get any better than this! The room was spacious, clean and fully equipped.
A shopping mall is 3 minutes walk away. There is also a stop at the mall for inexpensive shared taxis into the central city.
Everything else you could possibly ask for, from pubs to restaurants to supermarkets, is within walking distance. The hotel is located at an intersection, but traffic is slow, limited and you won't hear traffic noise.
- Ravita (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ann-marie (10/5): Exceptional - N/A N/A
- PATRICK (8/5): - Freindly staff, 300 mtrs to shopping centre which had bank, supermarket and food court. 3 off street parking spaces available as well as free 24 hr coffee and microwave in common area. Rooms have fridge and safe.
- Kevin (10/5): - Great property with easy access to so much close by and lovely owners. They were super friendly and amazing people made my time there very enjoyable. Major plus for the free coffee :)
- Alexander (1/5): Bad - the staff themselves make mistakes, but create problems and discomfort for residents.
the room was booked, I asked for two beds. hotel via booking. com asked why a second one, I replied that a colleague would arrive on the second night, who would arrive later. I was told that there was no problem.
When checking in, paying for the room, I again reminded that a second person would arrive tomorrow. I was again told ok. On the second night, when we were already asleep, at 11 pm, the phone rang in the room. the girl from the lobby rudely began to urgently demand an additional payment for the second person for the second night. I went down, paid extra, asked why no one wrote to me about this right away in a letter, why no one told me when I checked in, although I reminded, and they decided to do this on the second day, waking me up at night? she replied that it was not her problem, but the one who answered. Why do guests have to fulfill a lot of requirements, but the owners do not? including why do they invade residents at night?
- Shivanan (10/5): - The experience was top level
- Dongsukim (8/5): Very good - Staffs were kind and overall was fine. Room was small.
- Jay (10/5): Good location, very clean. - The friendliest and most kind and helpful staff. Great bed, very clean room
